How to install free Daemon Tools Lite on Windows 7

But even Lite version allows you to emulate 4 CD, DVD-ROM, HD-DVD or Blu-Ray drives. With this tool you can mount ISO images and access the files they contain. Daemon Tools also allows you to create ISO images and even set passwords for these ISO image files.

You can find information on the Internet that "daemon tools is not compatible with Windows 7", but this is not true if you are using 4.35.5 or later.

Daemon Tools Lite works by installing an application (requires an OS reboot) that allows you to mount ISO files with a volume label. From these you can start ISO mounting files or ISO creation files using the daemon-tools tool that appears in the taskbar.

Installing Daemon Tools Lite is simple. Download the 8MB file from here (be sure to download the product from the manufacturer's site, not the site you copied old version and uploaded it under the guise of a new version).
