However, do not confuse the name entered during registration with the username that you can get after you register. However, we will return to this later.
And one more nuance. The latest Twitter updates have also affected registration. Now it is possible to indicate not only your email, but also a mobile phone number instead of it, which will need to be subsequently confirmed, however, as well as the address of your mailbox. In the future, to enter your account, you can use your choice of phone number, e-mail or username (username).
Next, you will be asked to use some of the functional options of Twitter (the ability to search for your account by email address, receive mailings, including various useful notifications from the system, and display advertisements on the account pages in accordance with your priorities), by activating the necessary checkboxes (you can ignore this step, since all settings will be available after registration):

How to enter your page and make settings

As a result, the system will offer you a number of users to which you can subscribe. To do this, just left-click on the inscription "Read" (by the way, it is not forbidden to use the search bar and search by first name, last name or username):
Then you can revive the information feed by subscribing to those people whose messages you are particularly interested in. To do this, press the button "Read"”, the inscription on which as a result is converted to “Reading”. After that, on the main page, if, of course, you are authorized in the system, all the tweets of those people to whom you have subscribed will appear.
If you then go to your profile page (remember, you need to click on your username to do this), then the number of those Twitterers whose messages you follow ("Followers") will appear in the top bar. Clicking on this number will bring up their profiles:
By the way, if you suddenly change your mind about subscribing to a particular user, move the cursor to the “Reading” button (after which it will turn burgundy and the inscription will change to “Cancel”), which you need to click on. After that, the profile of this person will be excluded from the "Followed" tab and their tweets will no longer appear in your feed.
For example, after retweeting, the marked post will already be in your feed (on the profile page) and will be available to subscribers. If for some reason you want to cancel this action, you just need to move the cursor to the edit line in your own feed and click the same icon:
