But because programs from Google Play are very reminiscent of those times. No, of course, modern telephone (mobile) programs and applications are much cooler in terms of graphics, capabilities, and so on, I’m more about file sizes, the general feeling when communicating with the application.

How to delete Instagram from Android

Some users, having played enough of this application, or are simply tired of the constant and intrusive advertising or service policies, decide to remove Instagram from Android. In order to do this, you need to go to your profile, then go to “Settings” and “Edit profile”. At the very bottom there will be an inscription “Delete profile”.

The app's capabilities are still limited: likes, comments, Direct messages are available, but live broadcasts are not. And one more minus at the moment - you can’t publish a photo from hard drive. You can only take a photo with your camera and post it. I hope that this flaw will be fixed in the next updates.

UPD 2: As Ivan mentioned in the comments below, since the fall of 2017 Instagram on the NOX emulator has not worked correctly, so I recommend using other Android OS emulators to run the application. Otherwise, the process will be very similar to that described below, with the exception of the installation process of the emulator itself.

Installing the Instagram app on your computer using an emulator

To run Instagram on a computer, we need an operating emulator Android systems. I recommend the NOX emulator App Player(). It is very easy to install and configure, it is a pleasure to use - Android hardly slows down, and overall it works smoothly.

The only negative, if you find fault, can be noted old version Android in an emulator. It may be updated over time, but Instagram is launching and that's more than enough.

Installing Instagram on your computer using an emulator is really easy. You will need to follow five simple steps:

1. Download the NOX App Player emulator from the official website.
2. Install the emulator. There is no need to configure anything additional.
3. When you first launch the emulator, change your location (just in case).
4. Login to your Google account, if it doesn’t exist, create it.
5. Install from Google Play app Instagram.

If you are unable to install the Instagram application and Google Play gives you an error or asks you to log in to your account even though you are already logged in, simply reinstall the emulator.

How to upload photos and other files to the emulator

For Instagram to “see” your photos, they must be uploaded to your virtual device. The emulator does not see files that are on your computer. Therefore, below I will tell you how to simplify the process of uploading your photos to the “device” so that you can then publish them on Instagram.

1. Enable root rights in the emulator

To do this on top panel emulator, click on the gear icon to enter the settings.

In the "Root Rights" drop-down list, select "On". After which the program will ask you to reboot. Agree. The emulator will close, then launch it again.

2. Upload photos for Instagram to the emulator

Once you have enabled root rights, to copy photos to the emulator you just need to drag them to main screen from a folder on your computer.

To see what files are downloaded to your virtual device, find the “My Computer” icon.

3. Upload photos for Instagram to the emulator. Method two (less nerve-wracking)

The previous method of uploading photos, to be honest, although it works, it happens that the photos in the application are not displayed immediately. Therefore, I decided to supplement the article with a second method, which works without misfires.

Go to the app store and download one of the apps cloud services that you usually use (OneDrive, Google Drive, Yandex.Disk, DropBox, etc.).

Upload the necessary photos and videos to the cloud, log in from your virtual device to the cloud and download the ones you need. Now they will be immediately visible in the Instagram app.
