The Ukrainian Internet community was shocked by the blocking of not only the largest and most popular social networks in Ukraine, but also the blocking of all Yandex and Mail.ru Group services. The decree of the President of Ukraine on the implementation of the NSDC order imposed sanctions on the social networks VKontakte, Odnoklassniki, as well as all services from Yandex, including Yandex maps, a navigator and even the popular Kinopoisk website. And finally, the Mail.ru service, which was used by millions of Ukrainians. And if immediately after the signing of the Decree, they still did not take this ban seriously, then after the first blocking of prohibited resources by some Internet providers, the public stirred up. Search queries were filled with such questions as "How to bypass the Odnoklassniki blocking" or "How to bypass the mail ru blocking".

Of course, given such a wide coverage of these services in Ukraine, programmers and IT specialists immediately pronounced a verdict: it will not be possible to completely block resources. There are a couple of ways to log into VK, OK, mail.ru and Yandex in Ukraine.

Nowadays, almost any user of the World Wide Web, guided by simple and step-by-step instructions, can perform simple manipulations. So, let's start with how to bypass the blocking on the computer.

The very word "anonymizer" already implies hiding the name or IP-address of the device, or information about the user. Therefore, if you use such a site, information about you will be encrypted. Such portals can give access to prohibited sites. One of the most popular anonymizing sites is proximize.me. Having entered the site, you will see the Enter URL field - there and enter the link to the sanctioned site. Other similar products are Hide My Ass, ProxFree, etc.

All these portal act as a kind of intermediary whom you trust to receive information for you. If you describe in elementary words the algorithm for the operation of such sites, then you give them a request to obtain the information you need. They send a request to a website that is prohibited by us, receive information, and pass it on to you.

TOR anonymizer browser can also help

You do not have to go to a third-party site, but install a browser on your PC through which you can anonymously enter the World Wide Web. TOR is one of these browsers, which is by far the most popular. Its plus is that it sends information through intermediate points (not one or two) so that it is impossible to figure out which country the request is from. Click "Install" in the upper right corner and wait for the installation to complete. After that, the Hola! will appear in your browser at the top right. Click on it, opening a new browser tab. In the Hola window that appears, enter the name of the site where you want to go - for example: vk.com. After that Hola! will automatically select the country through which you will go to the site you need. If you want to go to another site, then you should do this in a new browser tab.

VK, OK, Yandex, Mail: how to bypass the blocking on the phone?

Many people do not use PCs today to log into social networks - smartphones with many convenient applications have become portals for using social networks. However, smartphone holders have overtaken the same fate as PC users - they cannot get on their favorite social networks. Is there a way out?

In fact, programmers claim that bypassing restrictions and accessing prohibited sites is as easy as on a regular desktop computer.

The TOR browser has been developed for smartphones with the Android operating system. We have already talked about it when describing anonymizing browsers. It should also be remembered that by using such "gray" methods of entering sanctioned sites, you expose your PC or smartphone to danger by transferring data through unverified IP addresses or providing your personal data to third parties.

Bypassing blocking on Android mobile devices using Yandex Browser

Yandex has updated Yandex Browser specifically for Ukrainian users. Now all Yandex services, including the Kinopoisk website, are available from the new browser version. The social networks VKontakte, Odnoklassniki and Mail.ru services are also available.

So far, the updated version of Yandex Browser can only be installed by users of Android devices by installing it from Google Play.
