But this is important only later; now the main thing is not to screw things up at the stage when you are looking for fresh playlists. There are many sites on the Internet that offer fresh content. This is very important, especially when we talk about resources that work for free. They quickly close and open again, so if you don’t want to lose content, you should download only the latest playlists. And if possible, the ideal solution would be to forget about free resources, and pay for verified IPTV playlists of 2018.

The download process looks like this:

  • The user follows the link that appeals to him most and ends up on a resource where lists of channels are displayed;
  • We select the m3u format, as one of those on which IPTV television works;
  • Select a playlist. By the way, it is worth clarifying that the resources broadcast from different countries, which we don't really need. In this case, the operator allows you to select a country suitable for the user. In our case it will be Russia. Of course, there are fewer channels, but they work, which is good;

This is not the first time I apologize for the quality of the image - the Android TV box DNS G-300 completely lacks the standard ability to take screenshots, and third-party programs do this in a very unique way, and out of 30 “frames” taken, there were about five normally without any lost details, which were used, but otherwise - stupid photography.

Television is an interesting thing... Probably... For example, I haven’t had a normal classic TV for about fifteen years. Periodic experiments with digital and satellite ended in failure in both cases within six months. But sometimes you want to! I love advertising, especially Snickers and Morshinskaya. What about New Year's greetings from the Presidents? It's also necessary. For such rare cases, I use all sorts of different tricks.

So, two years ago I tried to make friends with Torrent TV. What it is and what it is eaten with is described in the story. To be honest, this friendship didn’t work out for me. Firstly, there are a lot of unnecessary steps: install the client, install the Ace Stream Engine, install a third-party video player... And this is if you do not take into account the Ace Streame settings, in which you can experiment until the end of Eternity. And, of course, there is a very high dependence on the distributors. In the PC version of the client, advertising also played at full volume when switching channels, but in the Android version I still did not understand how to switch channels without leaving the viewing mode. In a word, we didn’t become friends, but it’s worth paying tribute to: there are a lot of channels, all in categories, there is a TV program and, in general, it’s very possible to use.

And now this summer the time has come for new discoveries - this time - IP-TV. Fundamental difference without any technical details - the torrent is distributed by users, and IP-TV is distributed by the server. Therefore, there are both pros and cons. The plus is the constant quality of the source signal, the minus is that if the server is “buggy”, then everything becomes gloomy.

In general, IP-TV is a popular thing; on our Internet it is found everywhere in every more or less well-known provider (that is, everyone who at least has their own website). In most cases, the subscription is paid... And then there’s the subtlety: for a fee they give us a regular playlist with server addresses, and most of them are free channels. Accordingly, some craftsmen, asking the question “why pay more?”, began to create their own, already free playlists ( http://vk.com/clubslynet) and make them publicly available.

And inventing a client that could interpret them is a matter of minutes.

Such a client is, for example, IPTV(an eloquent name, without any problems). It is a simple shell with a minimum of settings and capabilities.

For full operation, you need to specify the address of the playlist.

You can have several, so on the mentioned source, in addition to the basic huge playlist, there are a dozen thematic selections, which simply cannot but rejoice!

Unfortunately, the application does not know how to combine everything into one big pile and we have to select the one we need manually.

If we need a program guide, we need to connect that too. To do this, just enter its address (for example, http://www.teleguide.info/download/new3/xmltv.xml.gz).

In order not to write everything by hand, you can simply copy and paste.

Please note that sometimes real programs do not coincide with the TV program due to time zone differences - this problem can be corrected by the “Time zone shift” settings item.

Now let's move on to main screen and select the desired channel.

That's the whole program - we select a channel (by tapping for a long time, by the way, it is possible to watch a TV program on a given channel) and watch it in a third-party (I emphasize!) player.

The greatest advantage of the software is its lightness: 2.6 megabytes. At the same time, there are no additional streams, aces or other proxies. Free version- advertising, but advertising exclusively in the form of a banner at the beginning of the list of channels - even when scrolling down it is hidden, not to mention viewing. Unsubscribing from advertising costs about 1 dollar (I see prices in Ukrainian hryvnia on Googleplay, so I translate according to some more or less real exchange rate for general understanding).

Let's consider this part a prelude. And now our main hero is PeersTV. I avoided this miracle for a very long time due to very intrusive advertising: “Install the super-best client for further viewing, and you will be happy and three million tugriks...”. But, as often happens, I gave up - just to watch. And I didn’t regret it.

This is already a level... First of all, after installation we see a basic list of channels. There are not many of them, but it’s quite suitable for a New Year’s address and a musical about a midshipman.

Under every channel short description current broadcast. When you tap on the side, a detailed TV program will appear.

Tap and look... Everything opens directly in the application - there is no need for third-party players, which is good news. On the left side we see a detailed description of what is happening and a list of some other episodes.

So, these same “some other series” are an archive! Not very unique, but undeniably convenient.

If desired, you can expand to Full Screen, which is natural.

And if you do the opposite - click "Back", then the viewing window will shrink lonely into a corner and play in the background. Yes, we can choose desired channel, without interrupting the viewing of the current program. Convenient after all.

Add to Favorites - a standard classic that doesn't even require one sentence.

But I’ll show the behavior of “Search” in the picture:

As you can see, based on the query word, we are offered both channels and programs. Considering that the categories are separated, the thing, in my opinion, is necessary and convenient.

There are "Popular" categories in the side menu. They are here for a reason, to gloat - that, supposedly, a lot of people watched. Having selected the desired program, we can watch it without leaving the program - from the archive. So let's enjoy the biathlon race, for example, on January 22.

Have you noticed the castles near the canals? It's like that - full access only by paid subscription. But we already know about free playlists, right? So, literally in one tap we add the joy we need and enjoy a normal movie. The TV program, by the way, will automatically connect; there is no need to register it, as was the case with IPTV.

The only disadvantage of a third-party playlist is the lack of an archive.

If you want to pay a little money (again, around one dollar), you can enjoy thematic news feeds, otherwise, the option is active, but the information simply does not load.

Opinion

What is better: torrent TV or IP TV? Neither one nor the other - a normal satellite with a normal tuner with BISS keys is best. But if you have a normal Internet channel, a free smart device and imagination, it is quite possible to set up such a television. Thus, the DNS media player, which is mainly used as an online player for TV series about Monk and Sheldon, copes well with the role of an antenna and an advertising display (you should also learn how to take screenshots with it, otherwise it’s just a mockery to take pictures of the screen).
