Samsung smartphone blue. All Galaxy S9 body colors - which one is better to choose? Who would suit this color?

Samsung Galaxy S9 color: which one to choose and not make a mistake?

The Galaxy S9 and S9+ smartphones have quite a few differences in design compared to the Galaxy S8 and S8+, but still the new items can be recognized at first glance, and all thanks to the new colors.

The new colors received very romantic names - Midnight Black, Lilac Purple, Coral Blue and Titanium Gray.

Apart from black, all other colors are presented for the first time in the line of new smartphones. Let's take a closer look at all four of the above colors.

Here's some information about the colors so you know what to expect from each color before making a purchasing decision.

Samsung Galaxy S9 color: Midnight Black

Samsung has been making Midnight Black phones for several years now, and Galaxy version The S9 is no different from its predecessors. This is a rich black color, without much shine or inclusions.

Due to its texture, the metal frame has a gray cast; for example, the Galaxy S8 has a more shiny frame. In fact, this model is more similar to black Galaxy S7.

Who would this color suit?

If reliability is your main concern, then you should give preference to this midnight black color. Firstly, scratches are not as visible on black as on other colors, and secondly, such a phone will not attract too much attention.

This color is also worth choosing for those who plan to carry their phone in a case. Subsequently, it will be easier to sell such a phone when you get tired of it.

Lilac-lilac is a new color for Samsung, it is a kind of replacement for Orchid Gray (Gray Orchid) of the Galaxy S8. This color reflects light very well and it is fraught with real magic: in dark light the color appears rich lilac, and in bright light it appears blue-gray.

The metal frame, depending on the lighting, can be light lilac or pink. Of all four colors, Lilac Purple is the most outstanding, largely due to the fact that there are not so many phones in this color, and it also changes its hue depending on the incident light.

Who would this color suit?

If you like to stand out and have a love for originality, then this color will be the most optimal for you; it is unlikely that anyone will have a phone of the same color: sitting at a cafe table, you will never confuse your phone with someone else’s.

A smartphone of this color will be rare even among Galaxy S9 and S9+ users, so even among owners of a similar model you will remain unique. So if you value uniqueness, then choosing this particular shade will be the right one.

Coral Blue – this name is a bit of a misnomer, it’s not like the previous ones Samsung models blue, it's more of a dusty blue. This color is even closer to gray than blue, this is especially noticeable in bright light.

In the dark, you won't be able to tell this phone apart from titanium gray. The metal frame has a subtle, soft shade of blue, but it's not particularly expressive. This color, like lilac-lilac, reflects light well. It is in the bright rays of the sun that you can see all the facets of blue.

Who would this color suit?

Blue coral is the most best option between a demure midnight black and a vibrant lilac-purple. It is quite a simple color and quite elegant, in the right light this color will show all its richness. This is a pleasant and sophisticated shade, which you are unlikely to regret choosing.

Buy to avoid confusion. New phone Samsung is a stylish and sexy device, and the choice the right color- big deal. Samsung confirmed four colors during the announcement, but it looks like some vendors will only offer two. And not the ones you expected. If you are wondering: “What color should I buy? Galaxy Note 9?”, here are your options and everything you need to know.

IN last years we've seen a lot of great color options for Samsung smartphones, but the Galaxy Note 9 changed everything again. Each model is black from the front panel, different colors only the sides and back panel. This is because the front panel is a 6.4-inch screen with an Infinity panel.

You don't really need color on the front since it's just the sensors and camera, which fit nicely into the black frames. In case you were wondering, different bezel colors don't look that good at all, an example being . Additionally, the all-black design makes the screen appear larger. So, should you buy the Galaxy Note 9 in black, blue, purple or copper?

We've already seen Coral Blue and a few other colors in the Galaxy S and Note series, but nothing like what the Galaxy Note 9 offers. Samsung has released four stunning colors: Midnight Black, Ocean Blue, Lavender Purple ) or Metallic Copper (Brown). They all look good.

However, there is also bad news. It appears that Ocean Blue (with yellow S-Pen) and Lavender Purple are colors only available in the United States. By at least Now. We've reached out to Samsung and are yet to receive a clear answer. When the Galaxy Note 9 goes on sale on August 24, US stores will only stock these two colors.

Midnight Black- you will watch a lot of movies, you don’t want a flashy color and you like black.

Ocean Blue- the golden mean, whimsical and flashy in its own way, but not too provocative, and also a color that is resistant to finger stains. You won't want to use a case, you'll love the yellow S-Pen.

Lavender Purple- you need bright and clear color, which stands out among others. Nothing to do with the iPhone. In certain lighting it looks extremely unique. You probably won't use a case, and your phone will get a color that most people don't have.

Metallic Copper- you want a unique, beautiful and distinctive Galaxy Note 9 that will stand out from everything else on the market. It's a metallic color so much so that at first we thought we were seeing Pink gold. But no, it's a stunning copper color. He's a little underrated, but he looks great in the sun, downright glowing.

What colorGalaxyNote 9 choose: Video and entertainment

And while it comes down to personal preference, black is probably the best choice overall. It is less susceptible to fingerprints, makes scratches less noticeable, and is also best choice for watching videos or entertainment. Black bezels mean the huge 6.4-inch display blends perfectly with the body of the phone, making it look even larger. Each smartphone has black bezels, but in in this case the black back panel continues the trend.

It may seem obvious, but black matters. Unlike some colors, it does not emphasize fingerprints and looks neat and conservative.

ColorsGalaxyNote 9: Scratches and fading

Another thing you'll want to consider when choosing a color is how easily it scratches. Or how noticeable the scratches are if you don't plan on using the case. You don't want the color of your smartphone to highlight scratches or fade after a year or so.

Keep in mind that whatever color you choose is quite durable. Samsung covers the front and back panel reinforced glass Gorilla Glass. The glass is above the paint. This means you're scratching the glass, not the color finish of your Galaxy Note 9. The color will never scratch, fade or show other signs of wear. However, black can make scratches quite noticeable, as can brown.

The editor's personal choice falls on black and blue. The latter has a lovely powder blue hue and its yellow S-Pen looks very interesting. On the other hand, you can buy a yellow or purple S-Pen from Samsung stores if you want to mix styles with other colors.

ColorGalaxyNote 9: Fingerprints and smudges

Fingerprints are something we have to deal with. Especially on such a large device, especially when your palms are sweaty from playing Fortnite. Due to the nature of the design, fingerprints and greasy spots inevitable. The glass in front and behind reflects everything and will always do so. New blue and purple colors, most likely, will be able to hide fingerprints; black also works well in this direction. Brown is bright and shows everything off.

Again, we can't be completely sure until we personally test each of them. We recommend visiting the store to take a look at the phones for yourself.

GalaxyNote 9: Cases

Think about whether you are going to use a case with the Galaxy Note 9. On such an expensive and beautiful phone don't just put on the case. These are rugged smartphones, but they do get scratched and damaged. One fall is all it takes broken screen or a cracked back panel.

So, if you are using a case, what color should you choose and what does it even matter? The cases cover almost the entire body of the Galaxy Note 9, except for the front panel and a small area on the back panel. You will see nothing but black panels on the front, any color you choose can only be seen in the version of the fingerprint scanner and two cameras.

What colourGalaxyShould I buy Note 9?

So, in conclusion, what color should you choose for the Galaxy Note 9? Well, it's all up to you. Considering that some stores will only receive blue/purple variants, there isn't much choice. However, if you wait, all colors will be available. The moment we understand the situation with the supply of different flowers, we will tell you the details.

We think all the colors look amazing and cool, but I love black for its style and sleek execution. This is the color that Plus chose, but with the Note 9 I plan to try blue. Honestly, does this matter to you? All colors look great.

In a survey of almost 30,000 iPhone buyers since 2015, the black option has remained the most popular. So while most people choose black, be bold and try something different.

Let us know which Galaxy Note 9 you are planning to buy if you care. At the end of the day, most owners of an expensive smartphone will want to put on a case. It will cover the color but protect the curved glass screen.

Again, we'll update this article when we learn more about additional colors of the Galaxy Note 9 and which will be available in Russia and when.

Information about Galaxy smartphone S9 began to appear long before its official release. Almost a few months before the presentation of the smartphone, we knew a lot about it - including the expected colors of the device’s body. No, of course some intrigue remained, but in the end...

All leaks were confirmed and Samsung company introduced the Galaxy S9 in the following colors:

  1. "Ultraviolet" is a pink-violet color.
  2. "Black Diamond" is regular black.
  3. "Titan" - gray-silver.
  4. “Sea Blue” is a light blue color.

All these colors were shown to us at the presentation. And as usual (), we didn’t even hope that they would all end up in Russia. Which was ultimately confirmed - in our country, on this moment, Samsung Galaxy S9 will be sold in the following body colors:

  1. Ultraviolet.
  2. Black.
  3. Grey.

I want to take it and shout: “Samsung, that’s enough already! Where is the most interesting blue body color? Why does the same thing repeat itself year after year - in some countries there are all the colors presented, but the flagship arrives in Russia somehow defective?” It hurts...:)

Well, oh well, we'll have to live with it for now. Moreover, immediately after the presentation, interesting rumors appeared that unique color solutions could be released for certain regions. Among others, yellow, red and completely white colors were mentioned, which, you see, is much more interesting. Give variety to the masses! :)

But while this variety is not there, let's think about what body color would be best to purchase the Galaxy S9?

  • Black. A color for all times. It looks especially impressive - the screen smoothly flows into the body, creating a feeling of integrity of the device. There is, perhaps, only one drawback - fingerprints will definitely be noticeable on the case and there is no escape from this. Of course, you can use a case, but then it will cover all the beauty :)
  • Grey. For those men and women who are tired of the “standard” black color and who want at least some variety. Fingerprints are almost invisible - this is a plus. It doesn’t look very expensive (although, who cares...) - this is a minus.
  • Ultraviolet. The most controversial color. On the one hand, it seems to be pink (the fair half of humanity, pay attention!). On the other hand, it seems to be purple (perhaps some men will appreciate it!). If you have your sights set on buying a Galaxy S9 in this particular color, be sure to go to the store and look at it with your own eyes. We highly recommend not buying “blindly” - after all, it can either please you or greatly disappoint you :)

Of course, it’s a great pity that the light blue color of the Galaxy S9 case has not yet reached us.

In our opinion, this would be a strong move with Samsung hand: provide the buyer with a greater choice of body colors, while the competitor (iPhone X) is sold only in two colors. However, there is “ultraviolet”, which brings at least some variety. And thanks for that :)

Updated! Samsung decided to please users and added two new body colors for the Galaxy S9!

To the three already familiar colors (black diamond, titanium and ultraviolet) are added:

  • Dazzling Platinum (Gold).
  • Burgundy (red).

Unfortunately, the “regular” Galaxy S9 cannot be purchased in burgundy color. Red color is available only for the older model - Galaxy S9+.

Although this may be a temporary solution.

After all, if this color “goes well”, then Samsung can paint the “simple nine”. Why not?:)

P.S. Would you like to see the Galaxy S9 in some non-standard colors? Or are you quite satisfied with the proposed options? Share your impressions in the comments!
