Anyone who writes something about memory simply does not understand why this phone is being bought. Its main advantage is the presence of all imaginable modules (GPS, HSPA+, flash) for a ridiculous price. The memory problem can be solved in an elementary way - you buy a 32 GB class 10 microSD, break the root (KingRoot), and then upload the firmware where you manually mapped the memory and sent it to the card. I was particularly pleased with the screen - I was prepared for the TFT to go blind in the sun - but no, it’s very good. I was pleased with the pure Android - there weren’t even any Google apps (and where should they be). And everything would be fine, but... But after a week, the top glass with the touch panel simply came off. The result is a screen with remote control) Considering the design, this problem is unlikely to be an isolated one (the corners of the glass protrude beyond the edge of the case). It's a pity. Cool kid.

Due to lack of memory, not a single application is installed. Result. It’s not clear why this phone has 2 cameras and GPS, but you can still use them.

I’ve been using it for about 1.5 years and I wasn’t particularly surprised that the phone for 2000 rubles lags and the camera is bad, but I realized that it’s better to buy something that’s more expensive and of course better than Fly and Highscreen, so I bought myself Xiomi; colleagues said that the company was good and they weren’t mistaken! But I myself then this phone (I’m talking about Highscreen) is good and affordable, I recommend it, but don’t be surprised if you can’t download anything else except VK and Viber or Sberbank online! I think I said it all!

I don’t understand people who take a phone for 2000 rubles and want an iPhone 7 Plus... The phone is excellent... it works great, there’s enough memory... The battery lasts 2 days, the network doesn’t disappear... The secret is to make the battery last longer - You don’t need to charge it immediately after purchase - but discharge it to zero so that the phone can’t even turn on, then charge it to 100% and again discharge it to zero, and so on 5 times... Memory problems? -Are you guys too drunk or what? This is not iOS or Windows Phone... There is a special utility like ROOT rights (set Root), delete unnecessary system applications - install Ram EXPANDER (for this you need a flash drive from 8GB class 10) - this utility is so that you can do something normal run - for example Subway Surf, etc... There is not enough memory in this device, but there is a Link2SD utility, it also requires Root access... (SEE MORE ON YOUTUBE or read on the 4Pda forums) I bought the phone as a second option, i.e. I needed a phone with 2 SIM cards and not expensive, because my Lumia 920 has 1 SIM card...

An ordinary telephone is no different from a push-button one, just to make calls and listen to music, but everything is as usual, and I would like to point out that in order for it not to slow down, you need to install at least Android 4 or 4 2 versions on it, but no more. Of course, you can use it if you don’t play or take photos or videos.

One thing that would be reasonable is not to criticize him, since they knew what they were taking. But after months of use, the disadvantages covered the advantages that were there initially. He is one year old at the moment. It still works and is used every day for communication. But by communication we mean: SMS, calls. These reviews cannot completely influence the person who wants to buy this or that model of gadget. It’s also not a fact that my review will turn someone away completely and irrevocably from the idea of buying it, or vice versa. It works quite well for its price, but the word does not fit at a higher level.

I didn’t buy it for myself, but for my mother; it turned out to be an excellent option for her. and small, and modern, and mom doesn’t get mad when the phone gets stuck, but calmly waits for it to come to its senses))) I’m not happy with a lot of characteristics, but I would like to draw your attention to the fact that the Highscreen company works for both fat and leaky people wallets, thanks for this)))

Flaws: doesn't work very quickly.

Advantages: definitely the price, two sim cards, dimensions, funny design

Experience of use: several months

The device is great as a dialer, and nothing more. 2-3 applications of medium weight can be installed without any problems, for larger ones you need tambourines, and with them 6-7 is the maximum. The RAM handles one active application, two are straining, three are difficult, and four are frozen. That is, if you surf in a browser plus launched some kind of VKontakte, you risk not being able to answer the call. Yandex.navigator was installed, but did not start, the device froze. If even the slightest stupidity of gadgets infuriates you, then under no circumstances take this one - two minutes and you are the Hulk. Summary. If you need a smart phone exclusively for calls + occasional surfing, then this device is not bad. I've been looking for an adequate 3.5" model for a long time, unfortunately, Highscreen couldn't handle it.

Flaws:- 256 RAM - 512 internal

Advantages:+ weight + diagonal + price + design + Android 4.4

Flaws: Oh...this is the most important point. This phone is simply a citadel of minuses. I don’t want to offend the manufacturers and everyone who owns it to this day, but it does its job disgustingly. It's terribly buggy, has little memory, a camera is needed for some reason (but it's cheap and simple), the battery runs out very quickly and the phone takes a long time to charge.

Advantages: I just enjoy its strong and solid body. It is so well made that your hand is happy when you hold this phone.

Also, the colors of the cases are a plus, as is the ability to make calls and write messages.

Accelerometer(or G-sensor) - sensor of the device’s position in space. As a main function, the accelerometer is used to automatically change the orientation of the image on the display (vertical or horizontal). Also, the G-sensor is used as a pedometer; it can control various functions of the device by turning or shaking.
Gyroscope- a sensor that measures rotation angles relative to a fixed coordinate system. Capable of measuring rotation angles in several planes simultaneously. A gyroscope together with an accelerometer allows you to accurately determine the position of the device in space. Devices that use only accelerometers have lower measurement accuracy, especially when moving quickly. Also, the capabilities of the gyroscope can be used in modern games for mobile devices.
Light sensor- a sensor that sets the optimal brightness and contrast values for a given light level. The presence of a sensor allows you to increase the battery life of the device.
Proximity sensor- a sensor that detects when the device is close to your face during a call, turns off the backlight and locks the screen, preventing accidental clicks. The presence of a sensor allows you to increase the battery life of the device.
Geomagnetic sensor- a sensor for determining the direction of the world in which the device is directed. Tracks the orientation of the device in space relative to the magnetic poles of the Earth. The information received from the sensor is used in mapping programs for terrain orientation.
Atmospheric pressure sensor- sensor for precise measurement of atmospheric pressure. It is part of the GPS system, allows you to determine altitude above sea level and speed up location determination.
Touch ID- fingerprint identification sensor.

Satellite navigation:

GPS(Global Positioning System) is a satellite navigation system that provides measurements of distance, time, speed and determines the location of objects anywhere on Earth. The system is developed, implemented and operated by the US Department of Defense. The basic principle of using the system is to determine location by measuring distances to an object from points with known coordinates - satellites. The distance is calculated by the delay time of signal propagation from sending it by the satellite to receiving it by the antenna of the GPS receiver.
GLONASS(Global Navigation Satellite System) - Soviet and Russian satellite navigation system, developed by order of the USSR Ministry of Defense. The measurement principle is similar to the American GPS navigation system. GLONASS is designed for operational navigation and timing support for land, sea, air and space-based users. The main difference from the GPS system is that GLONASS satellites in their orbital motion do not have resonance (synchrony) with the rotation of the Earth, which provides them with greater stability.

For more than a year now, import substitution has been a special hot topic; we are replacing everything European with Russian brands. Despite the fact that this trend has not yet affected the computer device market, it is nice to know that there is a Russian company that is ready to replace imported products with its own product. We are talking about the company Highscreen, which has been producing smartphones and tablets at reasonable prices for more than 15 years, focusing on Western manufacturers. Today we will look at it from all sides.

Design and basic controls

As usual, we begin the description with the appearance of the smartphone. Here is a device in a candybar type case with a touch screen. The back side is made of white plastic; in the center is the brand name, made using the embossing technique. This detail is quite insignificant, but adds impressiveness to the appearance. The front part is painted black, the display is covered with protective glass. Note that the device looks very modern and corresponds to the latest trends, especially considering the fact that this is a representative of the budget price segment.

The HIGHSCREEN Pure J smartphone has modest dimensions, as the screen diagonal is 3.5 inches. The display resolution is only 480320, so the image quality is average. Such a device will be convenient primarily for making calls, since for many users the screen size will not be enough for comfortable Internet surfing. This smartphone will perfectly act as an additional phone and will serve as an excellent first gadget for your child.

Basic functionality

The smartphone uses a MediaTek MT6572M processor, paired with 256 MB of RAM. These characteristics will clearly not be enough to work with complex applications; you definitely won’t be able to install a mobile version of office programs. The device can cope with simple tasks – simple games and Internet searches.

The amount of available built-in memory is 512 MB, which is not enough for a modern user. You will definitely benefit from the ability to expand memory using the microSDHC connector. The developer chose Android 4.4 as the operating software, so users of other Android-based devices will be able to work with an already familiar interface. One of the main advantages for many users will be the presence of 2 SIM card slots, so you can combine 2 phone numbers in one device. This is very convenient if you need to separate work and personal contacts or SIM cards from operators from different regions.

The smartphone is equipped with 2 cameras – main and front. As a rule, all manufacturers have better technical equipment for the main camera than the front camera. The Russian manufacturer decided not to be different from others and equipped its gadget with a main camera with a 2 MP matrix resolution and a built-in flash for shooting in low light conditions. Unfortunately, the camera parameters are clearly not enough to take decent quality pictures, but it may well come in handy if, for example, you need to take several photos in an emergency. In addition, if you are buying a device for a child, then a powerful camera is not needed in principle.

For wireless communication with the Internet, the device has a built-in Wi-Fi module. If necessary, you can connect to an available network to find the necessary information or download a mobile application.

A standard lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 1300 mAh is responsible for the autonomous operation of the smartphone. Of course, we cannot call this indicator outstanding, but it is quite enough to perform a standard set of tasks that are possible with the functionality of this device.

In addition to the standard set of functions that are quite expected in a smartphone in the budget segment, such as the HIGHSCREEN Pure J, we find a built-in GPS module. You can easily use your phone as a mobile navigator if necessary to find a store or cafe in an unfamiliar city. In addition, there is an MP3 player and FM radio, so you will find something to keep yourself occupied during a long journey or a huge queue.

Main technical characteristics:

  • GSM 850 technology: yes
  • GSM 900/1800 technology: yes
  • GSM 1900 technology: yes
  • 3G technology: yes
  • Operating system: Android 4.4
  • Display: 3.5 inches
  • Display resolution: 480320
  • Touch screen: Multitouch
  • Processor: MediaTek MT6572M, 1000MHz, 2-core
  • RAM capacity: 256 MB
  • Built-in memory: 512 MB
  • Card support: Secure Digital microSDHC
  • Main camera: 2MP
  • Flash: yes
  • In conclusion, I would like to say that the Russian brand has produced a decent smartphone for its price segment. HIGHSCREEN Pure J is fully in line with modern trends in terms of appearance. The colorful design makes it a great device for your child. Technical characteristics will allow you to comfortably use the available functionality, but you shouldn’t expect superpowers from it.
