The number 8 has attracted a lot of attention in the past: the Jewish peoples considered it the number of the Almighty, the Arabs attributed magical properties, in China it was associated with good luck, and the Greeks identified it with harmony and agreement.

According to philosophical views, the number placed on its side meant the cycle of human life. A person begins and ends his existence in one loop, and after death he moves into the second. The cycle repeats itself, only in another dimension and continues indefinitely.

If you can’t find the application (when “Standard” and “Service” are separate from each other, and neither one nor the other contains what you are looking for), type the name of the program in the search bar of the Start menu and select the appropriate one from the proposed results. In the window that opens, repeat the second part of the previous method.

Method 3

For variety, try typing an infinity sign on your keyboard, but only partially. Use the combination Window+F1 or simply F1 (depending on the settings of the function keys) to call Help. Enter the name in the search line and select the same Symbol Table. Continue with the previously suggested steps.

Additionally:

In Word and WordPad text editors, you can type 221E and hold Alt+X. The editor will replace the hexadecimal code with the appropriate character.
To insert the desired icon into Unicode-encoded hypertext, embed the hexadecimal code for the character ∞ or its mnemonic &infin into the HTML.

How to make an infinity sign on a computer keyboard is now clear, but what to do when you use smartphones more?

Of the previously proposed, only one is suitable - copying and saving. There are no similar methods for the infinity sign on the phone keyboard, usually there are no hidden symbols in the firmware and standard keyboards, there is no Alt button and the device does not react in any way to the entered codes.

Character encoding

The Apple logo symbol displays correctly on all iPhones, iPads, iPod touches, Macs, Apple TVs, and Apple Watches. On iOS, macOS and tvOS you can print it, but on watchOS you won’t be able to get it in dictation or drawing mode.

To enter a logo on your Apple TV, do the following:

Method 1 (with external keyboard)

On Apple TV 4 or Apple TV 4K, in Settings, go to Remote access and devices > Bluetooth. On earlier models, simply select Settings > Basic > Bluetooth.
Select your keyboard from the list of available devices.
If the system requires, then enter the 4-digit code
Tap any field that supports text input - such as the search bar in the Settings app
On your keyboard, press Option (⌥)-Shift (⇧)-K

Method 2 (without external keyboard)

On an iPhone or iPad running iOS 11 or higher, open Settings > Command centre> N configure controls and press " + ” next to the item Apple TV Remote

Windows

As we already mentioned, the Apple symbol is included in the extended character set.

It refers to personal use characters that are intended for specific applications and devices that display characters outside the Unicode base set.

This is precisely because Unicode does not contain corporate logos, so the Apple icon will not appear on Windows, Linux and other platforms, and the Windows icon will not be available on the Mac.

There are several ways to enter special characters in Windows, but we'll focus on perhaps the most popular method: alt codes. To do this, you need to hold down the Alt key on the keyboard and type the decimal code of the desired character. A complete list of codes can be found at unicode-table.com.

Important: Be sure to enter a 0 at the beginning, although in Unicode the decimal code for this character is simply 240.

Don't worry if your laptop doesn't have a numeric keypad: you can still enter special characters. For this:

Open the document where you want to add the Apple logo

Click Alt-X

The Apple logo will appear where the cursor is in the document.
