The finalists of the “People’s Artist” project were ten people who continued to fight for the title of “People’s Artist”. Every week, on a live broadcast of the “People’s Artist” project, the participants in the final stage gave “reporting concerts”, at which they sang only “live”, and television viewers determined by SMS voting which of the contestants should leave the project. Alexey not only managed to win the very first “People’s Artist”, but also met his love on this project - a colleague Maria Zaitseva. Their marriage lasted almost eleven years! In 2012, a daughter was born into the family Alexandrina, but as soon as the girl was one year old, Goman and Zaitseva decided to divorce. Of course, after the breakup, Alexey tried to find his other half, even resorted to the help of dating sites, but was not successful in this and is still in bachelor status.
When his seven-year contract with the production center Evgenia Fridland FBI Music has come to an end, and a new stage has begun in the singer’s life. Goman began recording his fourth album, however, work on it continues to this day, although, according to Alexei himself, he has already written so much material that it could be enough for several records at once. Alexander Panayotov
Name Alexandra Panaitova he was slowly beginning to be forgotten - after all, more than 10 years have passed since his participation in the first “People’s Artist”. However, in 2016, he was able to remind himself by taking part in the fifth season of the show “The Voice”. During the blind auditions, all the mentors turned to him, moreover, not only the audience, but also four members of the jury gave the singer a standing ovation. Making a choice between Polina Gagarina, Leonid Agutin, Dima Bilan And Grigory Leps the performer preferred the latter. He continued to collaborate with Leps after the completion of the project. The first musical work with the new production center was the composition “Feeling You”; the artist’s large-scale musical program, which he presented in March 2017, also received the same name. Currently, Panayotov is actively touring both in Russia and far beyond its borders.
Alexey Chumakov
Recently Alexey Chumakov not only a singer and musician, but also a writer. The artist has already published two books - “In Search of Ghosts” and “47”, and another one will appear soon - “Dancing on the Roof”. When he manages to write remains a mystery, because everything in his career and personal life is more than successful. It aired on the Rossiya TV channel (RTR) from 2003 to 2006, and survived three seasons. The TV show featured various contestants who were selected by judges for their further participation in the project. The hosts of the first two seasons of the television project were Fyokla Tolstaya and Ivan Urgant. The third season was hosted by Oscar Kuchera and Olga Shelest.
The essence of the project
“People’s Artist” is the second attempt by the Rossiya TV channel to launch its own music reality show. During the first half of 2003, preliminary selections of contestants were held in a number of Russian cities - Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Volgograd, St. Petersburg and Moscow. The second round, which included the “best of the best” from the regional selections, took place in Moscow. On it, the performers had to perform a famous song in front of the jury. Preference was given to Russian-language songs. In the third season, mainly Soviet songs were chosen to be performed in front of the jury. According to information from the end of July 2003, 113 participants made it to the second round. Out of 113 participants, the 30 best were selected.
The appearance of the first release of the project on Russian television should be associated with September 2003. The first episode of the show, which was released on September 5, attracted 17.6% of the audience on television. Like the British original, as well as the previous project of the same TV channel called “Become a Star,” which aired on Russian television a year earlier, the organizers set the main goal of finding talented young performers “from the people.” But, unlike its predecessor in the form of “Become a Star,” where a whole musical group had to be recruited from the finalists of the competition, in “People’s Artist” only one performer became the winner.
Competition jury
The jury of the television competition initially consisted of several people, among them: Evgeny Fridlyand, Larisa Dolina, Tigran Keosayan, Anton Komolov, Laima Vaikule, Kim Breitburg, Gennady Khazanov and Artur Gasparyan.
In the third season, the judges of the project included Alena Sviridova, Maxim Dunaevsky, Gennady Khazanov and Evgeny Fridlyand.
During the qualifying rounds of the television project, the judges auditioned several thousand boys and girls with different vocal and artistic abilities from many cities in Russia and, based on the results of three qualifying rounds, chose the thirty best. Then TV viewers from round to round voted for the winner.

In an emerald, endless clearing, two people sat cross-legged opposite each other... They sat with their eyes closed, without uttering a word. And yet, it was clear - they were saying...
I understood - their thoughts were speaking... My heart was beating wildly, as if wanting to jump out!.. Having tried to somehow gather myself and calm down, so as not to in any way disturb these gathered people who had gone into their mysterious world, I watched them with bated breath, trying remember their images in my soul, because I knew that this would not happen again. Apart from the North, no one else will show me what was so closely connected with our past, with our suffering, but not giving up Earth...
One of those sitting looked very familiar, and, of course, having taken a good look at him, I immediately recognized Svetodar... He had hardly changed, only his hair became shorter. But his face remained almost as young and fresh as on the day when he left Montsegur... The second one was also relatively young and very tall (which was visible even while sitting). His long, white hair, dusted with frost, fell onto his broad shoulders, glowing pure silver under the rays of the sun. This color was very unusual for us - as if it wasn’t real... But what struck us most were his eyes - deep, wise and very large, they shone with the same pure silvery light... As if someone with a generous hand had scattered myriads of silver stars into them. .. The stranger’s face was tough and at the same time kind, collected and detached, as if at the same time he was living not only our Earthly life, but also some other, someone else’s life...
If I understood correctly, this was the one whom the North called the Wanderer. The one who watched...
Both were dressed in long white and red clothes, belted with a thick, twisted, red cord. The world around this unusual couple swayed smoothly, changing its shape, as if they were sitting in some closed, oscillating space, accessible only to the two of them. The air all around was fragrant and cool, it smelled of forest herbs, spruces and raspberries... A light, occasional breeze gently caressed the lush tall grass, leaving in it the smells of distant lilacs, fresh milk and cedar cones... The land here was so surprisingly safe , pure and kind, as if worldly worries did not touch her, human malice did not penetrate into her, as if a deceitful, changeable person had never set foot there...
The two talking stood up and, smiling at each other, began to say goodbye. Svetodar was the first to speak.
– Thank you, Wanderer... Low bow to you. I can't go back, you know. I'm going home. But I remembered your lessons and will pass them on to others. You will always live in my memory, as well as in my heart. Goodbye.
- Go in peace, son of bright people - Svetodar. I'm glad I met you. And I’m sad that I’m saying goodbye to you... I gave you everything that you were able to comprehend...
