BeatsX wireless headphones review. Beats BeatsX Wireless review of wireless headphones Features and sound quality

Beats Electronics was founded in 2006. For inexplicable reasons, the products of this American company immediately became popular. It is quite possible that this was facilitated by the well-known name of the founder - it was Dr. himself. Dre. Beats headphones became so popular that the company was acquired by Apple in 2014. Now the easiest way to buy branded Beats headphones is at the Apple Store - you definitely won’t come across a fake in the stores of this retail chain.

The best on-ear Bluetooth headphones

Beats Solo2 Wireless: expensive and tasteful

These are very nice headphones, which are actually a headset - they include a microphone. There are at least five colors of the device in total. Absolutely all the elements are painted here - from the ear pads to the headband. The headphones are full-size and seem quite large. But at the same time, they weigh only 205 g, due to which the head does not get tired of them at all.

The headset interacts with Apple technology and Android devices without any problems. You can give a voice command to dial the other person's number. There are also physical keys used to start or end a conversation.

If necessary, you can use a wired connection - this allows you not to worry about how quickly the built-in batteries will run out. The only serious drawback of the Beats Solo2 Wireless is its very high price. Rarely will an expert say that the sound of these headphones completely justifies the cost.

Advantages:

  • Convenient call management;
  • Almost all buyers like the design;
  • It is possible to use a wire;
  • Long-term operation in Bluetooth mode;
  • Good protection from external noise;
  • Minimum weight for this design.

Flaws:

  • Very high cost;
  • In winter they switch off outside;
  • Music lovers may not find the sound ideal.

Beats Studio 2.0 Wireless: A Great DJ Choice

These headphones work using Bluetooth 4.0 technology. If the built-in batteries are low, you can connect a cable with a traditional 3.5 mm jack. The headphones allow you to communicate on the phone - here you can remotely reset or accept a call, as well as repeat the last number dialed.

But first and foremost, the Beats Studio 2.0 Wireless headset was created not for interaction with a smartphone, but for professionals. It has a built-in active noise reduction system, which allows you to listen to music comfortably even in a very noisy room. At the same time, the weight of the device barely reaches 130 g - you are unlikely to find full-size headphones that are as light!

Advantages:

  • Interaction with a smartphone;
  • Excellent appearance;
  • It is possible to connect a cable;
  • Tiny weight;
  • Built-in active noise reduction;
  • Excellent sound quality.

Flaws:

  • At times the Bluetooth signal may disappear;
  • Careless use may damage the leather covering;
  • Very high price.

Beats Studio (2013): Active Noise Canceling Headphones

Another headphone designed for professional use. They produce very good sound. Their ear pads are of the closed type. But in addition to this, the creators equipped their creation with an active noise reduction system. Even if you are somewhere in a club, you will only hear the music, and not the noise around you.

It is necessary to understand that this is an outdated model. The design here is made of fairly heavy materials, which is why the headphones weigh approximately 260 g. There are also serious simplifications here. For example, the connectors are not gold plated.

Well, the socket for connecting the cable is located only on one cup. However, many people do not pay attention to this. But everyone should like the presence of a microphone, as it allows you to talk calmly on Skype. In short, these are good headphones that can work on a single charge for 20 hours.

Advantages:

  • Uses a detachable cable;
  • Long work on one charge;
  • Built-in microphone;
  • Can be used in conjunction with a smartphone;
  • The dimensions cannot be called bulky.

Flaws:

  • For many people, headphones will not be affordable;
  • The weight cannot be called minimal;
  • The design turned out to be not the most reliable.

The best on-ear wired headphones

Beats EP On-Ear: stylish youth headphones

These foldable headphones have become a real hit. They are instantly sold at any Apple Store. They can also now be easily found in other retail chains. Consumers like the youthful appearance of the device. But what they liked even more was the price - it's one of Beats' most inexpensive products.

In fact, this is a headset, so with the help of EP On-Ear you can not only listen to music, but also communicate on the phone. But it should be noted that the headphones are not full-size, so you will not be protected from external noise.

The cable from these headphones cannot be disconnected. Its length is 1.2 m, and its special structure prevents it from twisting into a knot. On the wire there is a tiny remote control with buttons that allow you to start and end a conversation. There is also a volume control here. Traditionally, headphones come with a branded case.

Advantages:

  • Relatively low price tag;
  • Pleasant to the touch cable;
  • Reliable design;
  • Works great with iPhone;
  • Several color options.

Flaws:

  • The cable cannot be disconnected;
  • Poor compatibility with non-Apple products;
  • Far from ideal sound.

5 Best Headphones for iPad

Beats Mixr: foldable and lightweight headphones

These headphones are distinguished by their large number of color options. They also include a microphone, which makes them an ideal accessory for a smartphone. The manufacturer itself calls its headphones full-size, but in fact, the ear pads of this device are not capable of covering every person’s ear.

On the other hand, this allows you to hear the sound of an approaching car on the street in time. Interestingly, the cable here is detachable. This greatly simplifies the transportation of the device. And even if the cord ever gets damaged, it can be easily replaced. By the way, the kit already includes a replacement cable, but when connecting it you will have to forget about the microphone.

Unfortunately, headphones also have certain disadvantages. For example, the design used here is not minimalistic, but this is the look that many fans of Beats products are accustomed to. Also, some buyers complain about the design.

For some, the bow broke after just six months; for other users, it lasted a little longer. You can also read in reviews that listening to music for a long time using Beats Mixr leads to ear ache.

Advantages:

  • Good sound insulation for this size;
  • The headphones weigh only 210g;
  • The cable is detachable;
  • The kit includes a case and a 6.3 mm adapter;
  • Good sound;
  • The headphones come with a replaceable cord;
  • The cable turned out to be quite long.

Flaws:

  • Fragile design;
  • Puts too much pressure on the ears.

5 Best Pink Headphones

Beats Pro: large and closed headphones

This product comes in white and black colors. If you try, you can find the red version, but it is the least common. The headphones turned out to be quite large, but they have closed ear pads - this allows you to forget about what is happening around you.

The “Pro” prefix in the name indicates that this device was created for professionals who are involved in sound editing or music writing. The same is indicated by the package, which consists of headphones, a detachable cable, a 30-centimeter extension cord and a 6.3-mm adapter.

The cable, by the way, is twisted, and its connectors are gold-plated. The buyer also receives a case that simplifies transportation.

Like any other Beats product, the headphones are designed for a specific type of music. Rap will sound great here, but classical music will be far from ideal. And this despite the fairly large money that is being asked for Beats Pro.

Advantages:

  • Almost perfect protection from external noise;
  • Folding but reliable design;
  • Twisted cord 1.8 m long;
  • There is an extension cord and a 6.3 mm adapter;
  • Gold plated contacts;
  • Low resistance;
  • The cable is disconnected.

Flaws:

  • It is difficult to distinguish a fake from the original;
  • Not the most comfortable to wear;
  • No microphone.

The best in-ear headphones

Beats Tour 2: waterproof earplugs

Beats Tour 2 headphones have a number of advantages over their competitors. Firstly, they sound great, delivering high-quality bass. Secondly, these are not headphones, but a headset, so you can talk with your interlocutor. Thirdly, the design of these plugs is waterproof.

This allows you to listen to music outside even in the rain! In theory, you can use headphones even in the pool, but the manufacturer still does not recommend doing this.

Otherwise, these are typical plugs. The cable length here does not exceed 1.28 m. The headphones can be carried in a case that comes included. Also in the box with the headphones you will find a cable clamp and three pairs of ear hooks. Of course, the replaceable ear pads are not forgotten either.

Advantages:

  • Ear hooks included;
  • Very good sound for dynamic headphones;
  • There is a cable clamp;
  • There is a microphone;
  • Excellent interaction with iPhone.

Flaws:

  • The cost is too high for dynamic headphones.

10 Best Wireless Headphones

Beats BeatsX Wireless: wireless power

These earbuds are wireless. They use Bluetooth technology to receive signals. Autonomous operation is ensured by a pair of batteries placed on a neck cord. Included with the headphones you will find a special charging cable equipped with Lightning and USB-A connectors.

In just 5 minutes, the headset can be charged so much that it will work for two hours. Full charging time is 0.75 hours - resulting in 8 hours of battery life.

Like almost any headset designed for a smartphone, Beats BeatsX Wireless allows you to answer and end a call without taking your mobile phone out of your pocket. But you must remember that this product is primarily intended for Apple equipment. If you have an Android device, some features may not work correctly.

Advantages:

  • Charges quickly;
  • Operates on a single charge for eight hours;
  • There is a microphone;
  • The headphones work great with the iPhone;
  • Convenient neck cord;
  • It's hard to find fault with the sound quality.

Flaws:

  • Some features found in AirPods are missing.

11 Best Bluetooth Headsets for Your Phone

Beats PowerBeats: a good option for an athlete

These are one of the most unusual earbuds. The device has elegant earhooks that prevent the headphones from falling out while running. Like many other Beats-branded products, this headset comes in several color options. The version with a red body and black ear hooks looks the most advantageous.

As expected, the headphones come with a case for easy transportation. The buyer will also receive three pairs of interchangeable ear pads of different sizes. As for the functionality of the headset, it is as simple as possible. In fact, you can only change the volume and perform other very simple actions.

People may also not like the fact that the headphones are of a dynamic type - for that kind of money you already want to get reinforcement plugs with at least two drivers. Another drawback is the lack of moisture protection. Need I say that while running a person sweats, as a result of which such headphones can fail?

Advantages:

  • Interesting appearance;
  • Stays well on the ears;
  • Easy to learn;
  • A rubberized cable is used.

Flaws:

  • Lack of moisture protection;
  • Headphones are asking a lot of money;

As a subsidiary of Apple, you might expect Beats to create a product that has the quality of an Apple AirPod, but with the style of Dr Dre. But at first glance, the Beats X look like regular wireless headphones.

Main characteristics

  • Price: 7-9 thousand.
  • Apple W1 chip
  • Bluetooth
  • Battery life up to eight hours
  • Charging - lightning

What is Beats X?

These headphones, costing under a tenner, use a Lightning charger, a sign that they're aimed squarely at iPhone owners. The sound quality is quite good, ranking among the top best wireless headphones, although with slight shortcomings in some areas, they are easy to use and provide excellent performance and sound quality for wireless communication.

Beats X - Design and comfort

Beats X are wireless neckband headphones. All the electronics - and weight - are contained in two plastic ingots that will end up resting on your collarbones, with a very flexible rubber outline.

It's a decent design that doesn't leave that dog-strap feeling like other headphones do. Beats X also doesn't bounce when you run, which is great for sports. However, I found that after a while they gradually turned slightly to the right, probably because one side of the headphones is slightly heavier than the other.

Not a perfect design, but still good. The headphones are essentially a mixture of hard plastic and rubber. The earbuds and main body of the earbuds are made of plastic, and the neck and end of each earbud have a rubberized coating for added friction.

If you find that they are starting to slip out of your ears - then you can attach special tips. These are small silicone eartips that use your ear cartilage to provide extra support for the Beats X. In addition to the wingtips, the Beats X headphones also come with four pairs of eartips and a carrying case.

Almost all wireless headphones like these charge using a micro-USB cable—the Beats X uses an iPhone-like Lightning cable instead.

One of the best features of the Beats X is fast charging, which allows you to listen to music for two hours on a quick 15-minute charge.

Ideal if you want to go for a run but see the dreaded “low battery” LED when you try to turn them on. What's unusual is that the Beats X has a fully exposed Lightning socket that rests around your neck.

It may seem that they will quickly fail due to moisture or sweat - but there is a chance that the socket is waterproof, although this is not stated. Another feature is that they have magnetized ears. They cling to each other so they don't wobble around too much when you're just wearing them around your neck like a fashion accessory.

Beats X - Wireless Headphones

The Beats X is only the third pair of headphones to be equipped with the Apple W1 chipset, the other lucky pair being the Beats Solo 3 Wireless and Apple AirPods. This is the chip that allows the iPhone to recognize and talk to these headphones faster than a standard Bluetooth pair. However, they also work great with an Android phone, which is what I used.

The stability of the wireless connection is excellent, with virtually no interruptions or Bluetooth flashes. These are one of the most reliable wireless headphones.

Beats X - Sound Quality

Beats headphones are well known for their bass, but the Beats X demonstrate their ongoing evolution in a slightly more nuanced style, slowly pushing them closer to the type of quality you hear in Bose headphones. The headphones don't sound as good as the Bose SoundSport, but there are a few interesting things about the sound.

First, the classic Beats bass lift is now carefully localized. Hits with drums get extra punch, but vocal podcasts don't have the informal low end that results from a more general bass boost. However, I find that the bass can sound a little disconnected from the rest of the sound. This typifies the sound of Beats X. It's pleasant and has a nice impact.

The Beats X's treble is fairly well defined and is neither harsh nor harsh; The medium ones are full, if not all, and well textured. These headphones tend to lack fine detail, making them basic but not exactly high quality. I also found the upper mids to become a bit abrasive when you increase the volume to higher levels. This is a clue that these headphones don't use particularly good drivers.

Beats EP are headphones from the Beats line, intended for a wide audience. With more balanced sound and a lower price than their bigger brothers, they offer iconic, on-brand quality.

Beats headphones are known for their heavy bass and high prices, they are not the best, but they are among the most popular.

Beats EP is an unusual offering from Apple, which currently owns the brand. High-quality bass is still given preference here, although the sound has become more balanced. The headphones cost only 7.00 rubles, which means they are the cheapest in the series.

For the sake of economy, the EP combined the features of old and new generations. What did you have to sacrifice to reduce costs?

The Beats style is immediately visible here. This time, not only plastic is used in the design - the fastenings of the cups to the headboard are made of stainless steel. It’s strange that high-quality innovation appeared only on the cheaper version.

The headphones fit tightly and are securely fixed, so you don’t have to worry about them falling off while dancing or jogging. At the same time, they are not too hard.

The Beats EP lacks flexibility and compactness - the steel mountings provide strength, but do not allow the headphones to be folded. The ear pads are soft and comfortable, the ear does not get tired of them. Due to the fact that they do not fit tightly enough, background noise will be heard through them.

Available in 4 color options - black, white, red and blue. Unfortunately, there is no classic combination of black and red.

For models of any color, the cable comes out of the left earpiece; there is no way to remove it and plug it into the 3.5 mm jack on the opposite earcup. Therefore, if the user carries the smartphone in the right pocket, the cable will stretch across the entire body.

The EP cable is so long that the excess does not fit in your pocket and dangles at knee level. It's better than having it too short, but it's still awkward.

Features and Sound Quality

Lacking Bluetooth connectivity or noise cancellation, the Beats EP headphones feel outdated. The 3.5mm jack and volume control on the cable confirm this.

The sound quality is better than usual from Beats. They are far from competitors such as the Sony MDR-1000X or Bowers & Wilkins P7 Wireless, but the sound is quite crisp and clear.

On "Nathaniel Rateliff - What I Need," the bass is strong but not overpowering. There is a bit of hissing in the upper range. The sound in the midrange is muddy, which is especially noticeable in “Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Can’t Hold Us” and “Ed Sheeran - Shape of You”, where the sound is multi-layered.

The EP only has a play/pause button, which can also be used to fast forward (double-click), skip backward (triple-click), and launch a smartphone voice assistant (long press), like Siri on the iPhone.

Android users have the ability to answer calls, but depending on the smartphone model, they may lack some other features.

Bottom line

7,000 rub. - fair price for good sound, balanced sound, stylish design and brand. Metal fasteners look better than plastic ones, but make them less compact. It's inconvenient that the cable is too long and there are no wireless functions.

Beats EP are created for the undemanding user who is not as concerned about high sound quality as appearance. They can't be called the best, but the headphones are worth the money, and the shortcomings in sound are successfully compensated for by their elegant design.

Advantages

  • Affordable price
  • Good sound
  • Stylish and comfortable design

Beats by Dre has long been a traditional headphone company, but BeatsX is a different breed. That's because instead of sticking to heavy workout headphones or wildly expensive earbuds, the company has come up with a new pair of music-tuned ears for everyone who's already tired of losing their brand new ones. Apple AirPods.

Although they are slightly different, BeatsX borrows heavily from previous Beats products. For example, the headphones have a flat, non-integrated cable and are stellar compatible with iOS devices. But they also carve out their own niche as one of the first balanced headphones from the younger crowd.

[Update: After this review, we also checked the budgeturBeats3, but if you prefer your headphones to be wireless, then BeatsX andPowerBeats 3these are your only options.

Of the two, the PowerBeats are worth considering if you mostly listen to music at the gym, otherwise the BeatsX are superior to their more comfortable fit. Check out our guide tobest wireless headphonesfor our other recommendations]

But BeatsX has a few tricks up its sleeve that not many headsets from Apple or Beats from Dre have had before: Quick Charge.

This is a feature that allows your new Buds to last up to two hours on a single five-minute charge and Apple's new W1 wireless chip. We'll talk about what the W1 does in detail later in the review, but we'll preface this conversation by saying that it significantly improves BeatsX's battery life and performance over Bluetooth.

However, carrying over from previous generations is its assessment - the BeatsX are not something we'd consider as an affordable pair of in-ear headphones. They cost $149 / £129 / AU$199, which is much more expensive than similar audio wireless in-ear headphones - including our gym buddies' favorite pair, the Optoma NuForce BE Sport3 - but cheaper than other wireless headphones made by Beats. fortunately.

So, are the new BeatsX pound for pound the best headphones from Apple?

design

In recent times, in-ear headphones have taken one of three designs. They are either fully connected to the ears, which connect the drivers to the 3.5mm jack; two completely wireless headphones that connect to each other via Bluetooth; or two headphones connected via a cable that wraps around the neck. BeatsX falls into the latter category.

Having two headphones connected via a cable may not seem like an ideal solution for some - the cable then tends to weigh the headphones down, but it's not without its benefits. First and foremost is the fact that they are harder to lose than completely wireless headphones. Second, a wire between the two buds can provide the home with on-board controls and a battery, allowing the headphones to last longer between charges and allow you to communicate with Siri.

The built-in controls here are exactly what we like: basic but effective. You can use them to raise and lower the volume, pause music, skip tracks and rewind. There's also a built-in microphone that you can use to make calls - something we'll touch on later in the review.

If you're afraid that the cable might feel uncomfortable, let's put your fears to rest - the BeatsX is absolutely one of the most comfortable wireless earbuds we've ever worn. It fits naturally around your neck thanks to the flat cable and doesn't really get in the way.

The solution here is to carry most of the weight in the thickest part of the cable, which sits around your neck, leaving two smaller cables with headphones attached to run up to your ears. This technique helps the BeatsX sit snugly in your ear without making you feel like they're going to fall out. As for the in-ear insert, Apple ships each package with four different earbuds and two sets of wings that help keep the earbuds in place during development.

Speaking of workouts, BeatsX is water-resistant, but not completely waterproof. In practice, this means you can take BeatsX on a sweaty trip to the gym without fearing for your safety... as long as you avoid taking them to the pool. When they're off your ear and hanging loosely on your chest, the earbuds will snap shut thanks to built-in magnets that help keep the wires from getting tangled—a neat, new feature if we've ever seen one.

If you want your BeatsX to match your gym bag, the headphones come in four colors: black, white, gray and blue. While a pair of black headphones might make the most sense given the amount of sweat, dust, and dirt they can attract in a bag, we can't help but feel particularly drawn to the gray and blue options—the black sheep of the group.

By design, BeatsX has three advantages over AirPods. Firstly, they are much more difficult to lose. Second, they have longer battery life—about eight hours on BeatsX compared to six AirPods. Lastly, four sets of earbuds give you a better chance of finding a good fit compared to the AirPods' one-size-fits-all approach.

Play

Give us any name you like—cheap, budget, budget-friendly—but we expect a lot in terms of sound quality from a $149 pair of headphones. And while BeatsX hits a few of the right notes—especially in terms of achieving tonal balance—it's not exactly a perfect move for the price.

But before we hammer the house where BeatsX goes crazy, let's focus on the high notes. Sound quality is actually relatively transparent for a pair of in-ear drivers. You won't find shimmering highs or sparkling mid-rings here, but the sound is far from flat or spiky. What was more surprising was the overall balance that Apple achieved - the mids, highs and lows are all on the same keel. The highs and lows could be even more pronounced than they are, but we never thought we'd live to see a pair of Beats headphones occupy the middle position.

Where "telephone vibrations" is when it comes time to seal the sound. Even with the seemingly airtight seal, we could still hear most of the conversation around us. We weren't expecting Bose QC's level 30 noise cancellation, but we don't think it's too much to ask for passive noise cancellation.

At least BeatsX doesn't leak audio. Even though he was playing at an ear-shatteringly high level, no one in the car was any the wiser about what guilty pleasure music we were listening to at the time. (In case any of you are reading, it was the Whiplash soundtrack.)

If you're looking for a ton of bass, and we can't believe we're talking about it, you won't find it on this pair of Beats-Levels by Avicii were relatively tame, and Little Black Submarine by The Black Keys lacked that punch and slack. which we have heard with other pairs of cans. For most audiophiles, this news won't upset you. But for people accustomed to pairs of Beats that sound like they're inside a subwoofer, you may have been disappointed.

What we really liked was more clarity. Nothing seemed dull or drab, but there was a definite lack of energy. Quality-wise, we put them right next to the Klipsch Reference X6i, a solid, mid-priced pair of in-ear headphones from 2016.

As we mentioned at the beginning of the review, BeatsX can also be used for field calls and Siri pull-ups. Using BeatsX as a Bluetooth headset is a surprisingly simple affair, with one click on the line remote to answer calls and two clicks to hang up. As for call clarity, everyone we spoke to said that using the BeatsX headphones made it clearer than we were using the iPhone SE's microphone, if a little quieter.

W1 Chip and battery life

Even though we're not the biggest fans of Apple's proliferation of weird, new, proprietary technology (cough, lightning, cough), we do have love for the new W1 chip. This is undoubtedly the brains behind the wireless operation inside BeatsX. This helps the headset sync easily with iOS devices and helps save battery life.

Weird, yes, but it's very simple to use. Holding an unpaired BeatsX near your iPhone prompts you to see if you want to connect headphones. Click "Yes" and it will pull your name from your phone - in our case, renaming itself "Nick's BeatsX".

As far as we can tell, this works with any number of iOS devices, including Apple Watches and iPads - although it didn't trigger a prompt on our slightly older Macbook Pro.

For Android users accustomed to using NFC to pair their devices, this may not be a groundbreaking feature (a few things that come from Apple). But for iOS users struggling with headphones, we appreciate the usability improvements the W1 Chip offers.

In terms of battery life, the W1 also adds a quoi je ne sais that helps squeeze extra performance out of the built-in batteries. Apple AirPods, which also use the W1 chip, last about six hours between charges, while BeatsX lasts about eight hours before needing to be refilled. Our testing found that it can last a little longer than the eight hours it's rated for, but that number may drop after a certain number of fast-charging sessions.

Speaking of Quick Charge, the feature worked exactly as expected, delivering roughly a 25% charge in five minutes or less. You're now forced to use a Lightning cable to charge your headphones instead of something more generic like USB-C, but as long as you don't mind keeping the new cable with you, your headphones can stay charged at all times.

We liked it

While we still wouldn't use the word "stylish" to ever describe in-ear headphones, BeatsX makes a pretty compelling case to get us started. That said, whatever you make of the design aesthetic, it's still incredibly comfortable to wear for long periods of time at a time. 8-hour battery life promotes longer listening sessions plus, when you run low on juice, it only takes a few minutes to boost the headset up to 25%.

We didn't love

While the sound quality is decent and balanced for Beats headphones, they're still not where we'd like them to be for the price tag. There are simply better sounding options that cost less. While the headset does a decent job of stopping the music you're listening to, it doesn't do a great job of cutting out outside noise. Finally, while we didn't miss the Lightning cord for charging the headphones throughout the review, Android and Windows phone users may not be as receptive to adding another cord to their bags.

Final verdict

BeatsX caters to two different, but sometimes very different, camps.

First, it will almost certainly resonate with the workout crowd who are looking for a solid pair of ears that feel decent and won't weigh them down.

But secondly, and more surprisingly, the headphones will also appeal to your standard music listener - the person who's just looking for a pair of ears over time. There are some obvious noise sealing issues here, but they're not unforgivable given the decent trade-off in terms of battery life and excellent iOS integration.

If you're looking for a pair of headphones and don't mind dropping cash on them, BeatsX is for you. If you're a cheap, frugal or thrifty audiophile like us, however, there are better options out there for less.

The American company Beats Electronics is a well-known manufacturer of musical electronics. Since 2014, the company became owned by Apple, so they began producing headphones with iPhone support under the Beats brand. Thanks to this, owners of Apple smartphones have expanded the choice of suitable headsets.

Beats is not a budget brand at all, but a very fashionable brand. These headphones have pronounced bass, making them suitable for fans of electronic music and hip-hop.

Product prices are prohibitively high, even for ordinary plugs. The demand for headphones has caused the emergence of inexpensive Chinese replicas that copy the design and often lose in quality. It is very easy for an unknowing buyer to make a mistake and purchase an imitation instead of the original, so it is important to pay attention to the little things right from the packaging.

Which Beats headphones are best? The review below presents the brand's popular models in 2020.

Beats headphones have a recognizable design. All products are marked with a company logo, distinguishing the brand from its analogues. However, on the manufacturer’s website there is only a choice of two color options. For 3.5 mm – black and black-red, for iPhone – black and silver. For convenient transfer, magnets are inserted into the cups.

The headset is controlled using the RemoteTalk volume keys. One of the buttons is multifunctional and allows you to control calls, camera and playback.

The straight plug looks fragile, so to extend the life of the cable you should use special protection, which is also available on Aliexpress.

Wireless in-ear headphones
