Doesn't write to mac os flash drive. Write files to NTFS flash drives and hard drives on Mac

Fair, not overpriced and not underestimated. There should be prices on the Service website. Necessarily! without asterisks, clear and detailed, where technically possible - as accurate and concise as possible.

If spare parts are available, up to 85% of complex repairs can be completed in 1-2 days. Modular repairs require much less time. The website shows the approximate duration of any repair.

Warranty and responsibility

A guarantee must be given for any repairs. Everything is described on the website and in the documents. The guarantee is self-confidence and respect for you. A 3-6 month warranty is good and sufficient. It is needed to check quality and hidden defects that cannot be detected immediately. You see honest and realistic terms (not 3 years), you can be sure that they will help you.

Half the success in Apple repair is the quality and reliability of spare parts, so a good service works directly with suppliers, there are always several reliable channels and your own warehouse with proven spare parts for current models, so you don’t have to waste extra time.

Free diagnostics

This is very important and has already become a rule of good manners for the service center. Diagnostics is the most difficult and important part of the repair, but you don't have to pay a penny for it, even if you don't repair the device based on its results.

Service repairs and delivery

A good service values your time, so it offers free delivery. And for the same reason, repairs are carried out only in the workshop of a service center: they can be done correctly and according to technology only in a prepared place.

Convenient schedule

If the Service works for you, and not for itself, then it is always open! absolutely. The schedule should be convenient to fit in before and after work. Good service works on weekends and holidays. We are waiting for you and working on your devices every day: 9:00 - 21:00

The reputation of professionals consists of several points

Company age and experience

Reliable and experienced service has been known for a long time.
If a company has been on the market for many years and has managed to establish itself as an expert, people turn to it, write about it, and recommend it. We know what we are talking about, since 98% of incoming devices in the service center are restored.
Other service centers trust us and refer complex cases to us.

This step-by-step guide shows you several ways to easily make a bootable Mac OS X Yosemite USB flash drive. Such a drive can be useful if you want to perform a clean installation of Yosemite on your Mac, you need to quickly install the system on several Macs and MacBooks (without downloading on each), and for installation on Intel computers (for those methods where the original distribution is used).

If you don't feel like using a terminal and just want a simple program to make a bootable OS X Yosemite USB flash drive on your Mac, DiskMaker X is a great option for that. You can download the program from the official website http://diskmakerx.com

Just like the previous method, before using the program, download Yosemite from the App Store, and then launch DiskMaker X.

At the first stage, you need to indicate which version of the system you want to write to the flash drive, in our case it is Yosemite.

After this, the program will find the previously downloaded OS X distribution and offer to use it, click “Use this copy” (but you can select another image if you have one).

After this, all you have to do is select the flash drive to write to, agree to delete all data and wait until the files are copied.

Bootable USB flash drive OS X Yosemite in Windows

Perhaps the fastest and most convenient way to burn a bootable USB drive with Yosemite in Windows is to use the TransMac program. It's not free, but it works for 15 days without the need for a purchase. You can download the program from the official website http://www.acutesystems.com/

To create a bootable USB flash drive, you will need an OS X Yosemite image in .dmg format. If available, connect the drive to your computer and run the TransMac program as an administrator.

In the list on the left, right-click on the desired USB drive and select the “Restore with Disk Image” context menu item.

Specify the path to the OS X image file, agree to the warnings that data from the disk will be deleted and wait until all files from the image are copied - the bootable USB flash drive is ready.

It's time to write another useful instruction for MAC users. Today I'll show you how to create a bootable USB flash drive with MAC OS X installer.

Why might you need this? Well, there are more than a few situations where you can use such a flash drive. Let’s say your old hard drive crashed (God forbid), and now you want to install the system on a new hard drive, or you just want to install the system on several computers at once, or you need to perform a “clean” installation of OS X. Or it's your option...

Let's get started with the process itself.

Creating a bootable USB flash drive with the OS X installer is not at all difficult. And there are also several ways to do this.

For variety, I will provide two for you to choose from. Choose any... at your discretion, or your level of advancement.

Minimum requirements:

  • The first thing we need is the flash drive itself. Minimum volume 8GB (be prepared that you will lose all data from this drive during formatting). The drive can be any... even an external hard drive
  • OS X installer downloaded from the MAC App Store in .app format

Download the OS X installer

First of all, we need to download the OS X installer. Right now we are not specifically tied to any specific version of OS X, because Every year Apple releases an update.

The old version of the operating system almost immediately becomes unavailable for download from the App Store. The current version is OS X 10.11.3 El Capitan. Therefore, download the file with the installer from the link below.

Downloaded installer " Install OS X El Capitan.app” is 6.2 GB in size and is placed in the folder by default Programs(Applications).

Create a bootable USB flash drive with the OS X installer

And here, for your choice, as I promised, there are two ways to solve our problem:

  1. The first method, in my opinion, is the simplest and fully automated (third-party software is involved).
  2. The second one involves some actions on your part (no installation of third-party software is required).

METHOD #1: Use the DiskMaker X 5 application

To create a bootable USB flash drive with an OS X installer, good people have created a special application - DiskMaker X. It is completely free and fully automates the process of formatting and transferring the installer to a USB drive. Brief instructions are given below.

STEP 2 - Launch the DiskMaker X application and in the window that opens, select the version of the operating system that we want to load onto the USB drive. In our case it is El Capitan.

STEP 3 - A couple more steps will follow where you will need to confirm the location of the installer itself (folder /Programs) and on which media you want to record it. Follow the on-screen prompts and agree where necessary.

The process of creating a bootable OS X flash drive takes about five minutes, so be patient. Once the process is completed, a corresponding message will appear.

To use a bootable flash drive, you need to restart the computer while holding down the Option (Alt) button, and select the USB drive from the boot manager.

METHOD #2: We use only standard OS X tools

This method is a little more complicated and takes longer, because... we will do everything manually. Follow the instructions below.

Part 1: Preparing USB media

STEP 1 - Insert the USB flash drive into your computer and launch Disk Utility. Then click on the name of this flash drive on the left side of the window. Let me remind you once again that the flash drive must be at least 8 GB in size.

STEP 2 - Select the "tab" Erase" and in the line Format please indicate MAC OS Extended (Journaled). Click the Erase button... and confirm your intentions again.

STEP 3 - Go to the " tab Disk partition" Expand menu Partition scheme and select Section 1.

STEP 4 - In the field Name enter untitled(this is important because in the next part we will refer to the USB drive by this name).

STEP 5 - Click the Options... button and select GUID Partition Scheme(necessary for copying system files to a USB drive). Confirm by clicking OK.

STEP 6 - After that, click on the Apply button. When the USB flash drive preparation process is complete, close Disk Utility.

Our flash drive is ready! Now all that remains is to transfer the OS X installer downloaded earlier to it. More about this in the second part below.

Part 2: Transfer the OS X installer to a USB drive

STEP 1 - At the very beginning of the article, you should have downloaded the OS X El Capitan installer. If you haven't done this yet, come back and download it. As a result, the downloaded installer “Install OS X El Capitan.app” (size 6.2 GB) should be located in the folder Programs.

STEP 2 - Launch Terminal and run the following command (to avoid typos, just copy and paste the text below):

sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia —volume /Volumes/untitled —applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app

If you are unable to run this command in the Terminal and instead receive the message “ command not found“, then you indicated something incorrectly somewhere.

In my case, I incorrectly specified the name of the installer a couple of times, which in the end should be like this: Install\ OS\ X\ El\ Capitan.app ( Each space in the file name in the Terminal must be preceded by a backslash).

STEP 3 - Enter the administrator password when asked ( your password will not be displayed in the Terminal window, and it will seem that you are not typing anything at all - this is how it should be). After you press ENTER, you will be asked for confirmation to erase the USB drive - enter the letter Y and press ENTER again.

STEP 4 - In the window terminal The process of creating a bootable USB flash drive with OS X El Capitan will begin. Boot files and the OS X installer itself will be copied to the USB flash drive.

STEP 5 - After the process has completed successfully, close the window terminal. To use a flash drive, restart your computer while holding down the Option (Alt) button and select removable media in the download manager.

Somehow like this! The first method of creating a bootable USB flash drive with OS X was much simpler, but the second method is not particularly annoying, although you have to do a little manual work. As always, the choice is yours.

Well, as usual, I start asking you feedback

If you found this article useful, don’t be lazy to like it on social networks (buttons below). It is important for me to know that my work is beneficial.

The MAC OS X operating system is rich in high-quality built-in applications. Moreover, many of these services have received wider functionality than it seems at first glance. Along with the advent of the OS version called OS X Lion, the standard Quick Time player was also updated. It received version 10.1.

Although the number in the name has not changed significantly, the video player has acquired several additional and, as it turned out later, quite useful functions. One of them is the ability to record video directly from your screen. The update came out a long time ago, but even now some users do not know how to record the screen, so they are looking for third-party applications. But in the case of Apple, many standard programs turn out to be more useful and easier to use than software produced by third-party developers.

Let's analyze the functions

Today we will tell you about the method of recording video in this application. Previously, these features were only available in third-party apps, but Apple decided not to share it with users. And we can safely say that they succeeded. So, launch Quick Time and select the program itself. Press the keyboard shortcut Command+Control+N. Instead of pressing these keys, as an alternative, you can perform actions with the mouse in the program itself: file - new image record. It is better to memorize key combinations, because it significantly speeds up working with the laptop.

By the way, you can find out the main shortcut keys in a separate article. A black window will appear in front of you, where you can configure some points. What can be changed here? Firstly, here you can activate or deactivate the microphone. A microphone helps make some explanations when recording your video, so the microphone will become a reliable assistant for explanations and educational videos. You can also turn the mouse cursor on or off here. That is, if you turn off the cursor, it will not be visible on your video recording.

In this menu you can select the recording quality, which will determine the size of your video. When you press the record button, you can choose whether to record a specific part of the screen or the entire screen. After you decide to finish recording, press the “Stop” button in the same black screen. After this, a window will appear in front of you where you can save the video in the desired format. Directly from this window you can send your recorded video to YouTube, Facebook or email.

Addition

As you can see, recording a video is quite simple, and this simple program has enough functionality to properly record your video on a MacBook. You can easily turn on the microphone and adjust the quality. For example, if you need to figuratively show some actions, you can set the recording quality to low. If you need a clear picture or legible text, then you will need to set the recording quality to high. Medium quality is universal.

You can find other useful instructions on our website. As for video recording, there are a huge number of third-party applications for the Mac OS X operating system. There are more advanced programs with editing of recorded video, various filters, etc. You can find all these applications in the App Store.
