Technically, the “Smart for Friends” tariff is almost the same as the previous version of MTS “Smart for Friends”. After the package of minutes is exhausted, unlimited access to MTS phones throughout Russia is enabled and, what is important, unlimited access to all MGTS landline phones.

MTS’s “Smart for Friends” tariff was recently improved (600 minutes/SMS and 10 GB of traffic), but the MGTS version has unlimited access to most landline phones in Moscow. And for the MTS version you will have to pay a considerable amount of money for connection (they sell conversion codes), and they can also deceive you. And, of course, you will not receive any matching digits of phone numbers.

In my opinion, 200 rubles. per month in today’s times is absolutely not the money for the sake of saving which it would be worth giving up the proposed “grocery set” and additional benefits. Unless, of course, you intend to continue using the MGTS landline phone. And certainly this option is much more interesting than those MGTS mobile tariffs that the company officially offers on its website.

How to connect?

As far as I understand, the correct answer is no way on your own initiative. Just wait for the offer with a SIM card in the envelope of your monthly bill from MGTS. If you’re lucky, you’ll be able to take advantage of this offer; if they don’t send it, then that’s your fate. It would be interesting to know about the scale and prospects of the project, but they are unlikely to tell us. Perhaps something will become clearer later or the proposal format will be corrected.

It is clear that MGTS will thus acquire a certain number of mobile subscribers. Yes, and someone will change their mind about giving up a landline phone if they have such a bundle. If you start adding up the numbers, the combination of a landline phone + “Smart for your own” will cost less than the regular SMART tariff with worse parameters.

“Smart for your own” MTS is an excellent example of how a large organization rewards its own employees. “Smart for your own” - description of the 2020 tariff

Like most current MTS tariffs, “Smart for Our Own” consists of two main parts. The first contains service packages, the second contains prices for performing basic actions after the allocated limits have been exhausted. In 2020, users are offered the following packages:

• 600 min. outgoing calls within the connection region;
• 600 messages to SIM cards of any local operators;
• free inbox;
• 10 GB Internet traffic.

It is important to emphasize that the provided minutes are spent regardless of the interlocutor's service operator (including MTS).

After exhaustion of the described packages, clients are offered the following prices:

• 2 rub. for conversations with interlocutors in the home region;
• 3 rub. for communicating with people from other regions of the country;
• 50 kopecks for sending a message within the connection region;
• 3.8 rub. for other sms;
• an additional package of 500 MB is estimated at 75 rubles. (no more than 15 such packages are available per month).

The description of the tariff cannot be complete without mentioning that calls within the network remain free after the allocated limit has been exhausted.

It was already mentioned above that the “Smart for Friends” connection from MTS is available exclusively to the company’s employees. This is due to the use of special activation keys, without which it is impossible to switch to tariffication. Each employee is given 10 keys, which they can use at their own discretion. You can use the available combinations and connect the offer in 2 ways:

• in the USSD command *362*xxxxx*xxxx”, where x must be replaced by the received code;
• using a special service phone 3620 (after the call, you will only have to follow the instructions received).

Ordinary people cannot get such keys, since the tariff plan is intended for a certain group of clients. Theoretically, they can be bought on third-party sites and portals, but you should be vigilant and careful, since there is a high probability of meeting a scammer who will sell an invalid combination. The telephone company is not responsible in such situations, since it was not the company that distributed the code, and the buyer himself acted at his own risk, turning to unverified people.

It should be added that the connection is free, but the balance of the SIM card must contain an amount sufficient to charge the established fee. The monthly cost, as mentioned above, is 200 rubles.

Advantages and disadvantages
