It's not at all difficult to guess why the iPhone X turned out to be more expensive than the updated versions 7 and 7 Plus. The cost of its production is 50% - 60% more expensive than standard models. After all, the flexible OLED displays (reportedly ordered by Apple from Samsung) cost the company $70 apiece, which is significantly more expensive than the LCD displays for the current iPhone 7 (at $40 apiece).

Let's not forget that the Galaxy S8, LG G6 and Note 8 also came with higher price tags this year than their predecessors. Apparently, this is the price that must be paid for the “widescreen”, “bezelless” trend of 2017.

It is not yet clear how many smartphones will be sold at retail and at which retail outlets – we can predict queues at the Central Department Store, but this is not yet accurate. If you decide to pre-order online, you need to have 79,990 rubles on your card for the 64 GB version or 91,990 rubles for the 256 GB version, go to the official store with your Apple ID, manage to select the desired version in seconds, click, pay, and then wait.

You need to pay with your card, and then show your passport to the courier so that they can give you your smartphones. Surely there are many cunning people who want to make money on resale, but deceiving the system can result in the cancellation of the entire order and the return of money to the card. I say this especially for those who want to make purchases with several Apple IDs, paying for the goods with one card.

Nowadays, store employees already have a powerful alarm system in their arsenal, so keep this in mind. In addition, for the iPhone X they will probably come up with some kind of restriction, such as one device per person, in order to avoid a wave of resales. For honest citizens, all ways to buy the coveted device are open - if you manage to pay for the order, you will receive an iPhone X, if you want to wait in line and come to the store early, you will also receive an iPhone X. I assume that there will be a whole range of traditional entertainment: resale of places in line, resale iPhones to each other, a widespread race for X. There are other cunning people coming out now, they say, but I’ll log in under an American Apple ID, place a pre-order in the USA, then go and pick up the iPhone X in the USA! And it will cost much less than in Rus' (see photo above)!

Yes, sometimes inventive gentlemen succeed. But now imagine something else - to travel to the USA you will need to apply for a visa, buy tickets, pre-order - well, or expect that you will stand in line at the Apple Store, wait there overnight, you will get a smartphone (one or two) and you will return to Russia is the winner.

Many people think like this: I’ll keep one for myself, sell the second three times more expensive - but just keep in mind that, as always, thousands of people will take iPhone X to Russia in suitcases and on gray roads, prices on the gray market will return to normal in a week and purchase in official retail in the first months it looks very, very attractive. There is a lot, a lot to think about, and the more I think about all this, the more I am convinced - well, what the hell, it’s too unobvious, it’s easier and cheaper to buy a new iPhone in Rus'.

The A1901 model will be sold in Russia, without CDMA support.

It is not yet known whether authorized services in Russia will repair iPhone X purchased abroad; You can and should take an iPhone 7 from the USA to the officials; from experience I can say that the screen can also be replaced for money (for the same money), and there is also a replacement device. The camera can instantly analyze the movements of 50 different facial muscles, and based on the result, create animated emoticons, while adding your voice. Simply put, if you smiled, then the phone will create a smiling animated cat, dog or unicorn, if you made a sad face, then the animoji will be sad.

There are currently 12 animoji available, including cats, dogs, and the new rainbow unicorn, alien, and turd (yes, you can make the turd look sad or smile depending on your facial expression).

iPhone 10 received a pair of 12-megapixel main camera modules with a dual optical stabilizer. The first has an aperture of f/1.8, and the second - f/2.4. These are good indicators among current mobile solutions. The front camera has a 7-megapixel lens with support for Retina Flash and HDR.

The main camera powers the smartphone's augmented reality capabilities. The ARKit tool is already available to millions of users, but the iPhone X takes this to the next level with its TrueDepth camera on the front and, obviously, on the back.
