How to open blocked pages. Using the Tor network

Allowing competent authorities to block access to any Internet resources on the territory of Russia out of court. Officials were given the opportunity to arbitrarily close for users within the country absolutely any site that, for reasons known only to them, seemed “unreliable” and “extremist.” This was clearly demonstrated with all determination and cynicism.

In the early nineties, we naively believed that the times of censorship and persecution for thought crimes were far in the Soviet past, but today in Russia lists of banned books and “extremist materials” are actively being compiled and people are being persecuted who dared to publicly declare their disagreement with the “only true” official point of view. De facto, the fundamental articles 29 and 31 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, declaring freedom of speech, freedom of thought, freedom of information and demonstration, and article 19 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, declaring freedom of information one of the most important political and personal human rights, have been abolished.

Under these conditions, we are forced to return to the topic of bypassing blocking of Internet resources - in order to restore the inalienable constitutional right of citizens of the Russian Federation to freely receive and disseminate information.

1. “Turbo mode” in Opera and “Yandex.Browser”

The simplest and still quite effective method to access sites blocked by your provider is to use the “Turbo” mode built into the Opera and Yandex.Browser browsers. Initially, this mode was intended to speed up page loading on slow connections: traffic from the requested Internet resource is first transmitted to the browser’s Internet servers, where it is compressed and optimized, and only then transmitted to the client’s computer.

In addition to real loading acceleration, this mode allows you to access blocked resources, since for the provider such traffic looks like data from harmless servers, so “Turbo” simultaneously acts as a free proxy anonymizer that does not require any settings at all.

To enable the “Turbo” mode in Opera, you just need to click on the corresponding icon in the lower left corner of the window, and in “Yandex.Browser” you need to go to the settings, click on the “Show” button additional settings» at the bottom of the page and find the “Turbo” item.

The problem is that sooner or later the Opera and Yandex Browser servers themselves may be blocked at the provider level, and this function will simply become unavailable. Moreover, in the case of Yandex, whose servers are located on the territory of the Russian Federation, pages that are blocked for display in our country by the content provider itself may not open, which we can already see now: Alexei Navalny’s LiveJournal opens perfectly in Opera (via foreign servers), while Yandex.Browser displays a “stub” about its blocking in Russia.

2. Stealthy and friGate plugins for Chrome and Firefox browsers

If you use Chrome or Firefox browsers, then to access blocked resources you can install the Stealthy plugin, which ensures traffic passes through foreign anonymous proxy servers. To enable the plugin, just click on the corresponding button: green color means Stealthy mode is enabled, red means it is disabled.

Stealthy also has a free online service, but it is less convenient and for some reason does not work as reliably as the plugin.

The main disadvantage of any web proxies is a significant reduction in access and page loading speeds.

4. Virtual Private Network (VPN)

A radical way to gain access to any Internet resources without restrictions is to set up a virtual private network(Virtual private network, VPN). Typically, VPNs encrypt all traffic sent through them and redirect it through a whole chain of servers, which provides very high level anonymity (unfortunately, not absolute, since many VPN providers undertake to cooperate with law enforcement agencies, which is separately noted in the user agreement).

In most cases, a VPN is payable service, however, there are also simplified services that provide the user with minimal functionality for free. In particular, VPNBook offers completely free services your virtual private network with support for cross-platform OpenVPN technologies or the PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol) point-to-point tunneling protocol. Both of them are not secure enough if intelligence agencies or professional hackers are interested in you, but for regular user quite suitable.

The VPNBook service does not require registration or account creation. Moreover, if you intend to use PPTP protocol, then you don’t even need to install any additional software. It is enough to select a new connection in the network connection settings of the operating system (Windows, Linux, Mac OS, Android, IOS, PS3 are supported) and enter the parameters specified on the VPNBook website. Some providers block the PPTP VPN protocol, in which case you will have to download and install free client OpenVPN, which allows you to bypass this limitation and operates through standard protocols TCP or UDP.

5. Tor Browser

"Classics of the genre" - Tor browser, based on onion routing technology. Its meaning is that all transmitted data is repeatedly encrypted and decrypted, passing through a sequence of “onion routers”, each of which redirects it to random routers on the Internet. As a result, the need for guaranteed reliability of each of these routers is lost, since it is impossible to determine where the data was originally transmitted from. Of course, like any other, this technology also has vulnerabilities, but if used correctly, it guarantees a very high level of security.

6. I2P network

Alternative Tor networks is the second most famous anonymous decentralized distributed I2P network. It is a kind of add-on, a “network within a network,” a set of encrypted tunnels that provide a high level of anonymity and security for all users. I2P provides the ability to access resources both within the network itself and on the “external” Internet, for which, like Tor, special gateways are used.

To access sites via HTTP, you will need to download and install the I2P service and then configure your browser to use an HTTP proxy on IP 127.0.0.1 via port 4444. Detailed instructions, links and descriptions of the I2P network capabilities can be found in the files included with the distribution services. Not bad brief instructions installation and configuration instructions can be found

dated May 15 on the entry into force of the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on blocking the social networks “Vkontakte” and “Odnoklassniki” and other Russian resources on the territory of Ukraine must be made public no later than 15 days after signing. Poroshenko’s decree on blocking websites comes into force from the date of its publication. Thus, the presidential decree will come into force no later than June 1, 2017. Let's look at an example site vk.com, how you can bypass the ban and access blocked Russian sites.

Privatix VPN

Free VPN from Privatix is simple and the best option bypassing blockages today. All you need is to open the official website Privatix.com and select the device on which you want to bypass the blocking. No registration required. After installation, just open the Privatix window and click on the connect button. When the indicator turns green, your IP will change and the Internet will be unblocked.

Privatix can be added as a browser plugin Chrome , Opera or Firefox .
Or download mobile app For Android(from Google Play) / iOS(from App Store) or a program for Windows. They unblock not only websites, but the entire Internet for any applications (VK, Skype, Odnoklassniki, etc.).

Anonymizer sites

This option is the simplest and most common. Anonymizer sites are specifically designed to bypass blocking. They gained high popularity in the Russian Federation, after the first attempts to block social networks and torrents.

When you enter a query in a search engine (Google, Yandex is also prohibited) - “anonymizer sites” immediately shows many such resources.

For example:

Proxy servers

To bypass blocked sites, you can use proxy servers. Many browsers use them to connect, for example Opera Turbo. There are entire lists of proxy servers that will help you access the desired resources. You can find both paid sites and free ones, albeit with a lot of advertising.

The disadvantage of this method of bypassing blocking of Russian sites may be that you need to understand a little about the network settings on your computer, but a search engine will always help you.

Tor browser

This method of bypassing the blocking is one of the most popular. Firstly, you can install it without any problems, secondly, the browser itself is easy to use, and thirdly, it is free.

The operating principle of the Tor browser is ensured through the use of a distributed network of servers, which, in addition to accessing a blocked site, also provides high anonymity.

VPN (Virtual Private Network)

VPN is a network that is created on top of other networks, using virtual and public channels other networks. VPN provides high privacy and creates a closed channel for exchanging information for outsiders.

In a number of countries where Russian social networks are already banned, users purchase American VPN packages and enjoy all the conveniences of the RuNet.

How to bypass blocking of any site?

Sometimes access is blocked to other sites, not only Russian ones, that are subject to sanctions. How to bypass blocking of any site?

Search engine cache

The idea is ridiculously simple and boils down to getting a “forbidden” page from memory search engines who once visited her. For example, for Google it looks like this: click the small green arrow next to the site address and select the “Saved copy” option. Both Yandex and Bing have a similar option (called “cached page”).

Turbo mode in the browser

Some browsers - primarily Opera and Yandex - offer a “turbocharged mode”. The idea is to send data from the site to you through a server owned by the browser developers, where this data will be compressed. This way you will spend less traffic, and sites will load faster on average.

However, in addition to speed and savings, this mode has a pleasant side effect: your ISP does not know what you are viewing. Even if you access a prohibited site, say, rutracker.org, from the provider’s point of view, your browser communicates with the Opera or Yandex server. Therefore, they will not block you.

You can enable turbo mode in the main menu of the browser (Opera), or in its settings.

TOR and others like it

A mediator will also help you here. But if in previous cases it was some company (browser developer, proxy server owner, VPN server owner), now you will be dealing with ordinary users, like yourself.

TOR, to greatly simplify it, is a network deployed on top of the Internet, hiding the content and direction of packets sent in it. Software running on each TOR participant's computer helps forward packets from other participants. Any request you make will be encrypted and transmitted “hand to hand”, from one TOR user to another, a certain number of times, after which it will only be sent to its destination. Then, in the same way, the answer will be returned to you. No one except you and the last node will know where the request was addressed, or what information you requested. Therefore, they will not block him.

Modern technologies are improving at tremendous speed, opening up an amazing breadth of new opportunities for us. Not long ago, Internet users began to use a private network - VPN. It allows you to create a secure connection between remote PCs, providing:

  • anonymity of work on the World Wide Web;
  • the ability to download applications when the IP address is located in a different regional zone;
  • high safety of work in a corporate environment;
  • high transfer speed without interruptions;
  • the ability to create a channel protected from hackers.

Let's look at how to connect to the Internet via VPN on different OSes.

OS is more complicated previous versions. But setting up a connection via VPN turns out to be very simple. Follow the step by step instructions below.

Open Start. From the drop-down list, go to “Settings”. This subsection may be called "Options".

Where can I find “Options”?

When the window “ Windows Settings", you will see the item "Network and Internet". Open the content. There is a “VPN” item here. Make one click. Click "Add" VPN connection" In the new window, set the following parameters in order:

  • Windows (embedded);
  • Business Communication;
  • L2TP protocol;
  • . Required information are specified in your agreement for the provision of Internet services.

Check that the fields are filled in correctly and click “Save”.

Setting up a VPN on Windows 7

Here the phasing has no fundamental distinctive features. The only difference is the location of the sections that interest us. Proceed to the "Control Panel".

Where is the Control Panel located?

We will need “Network and Internet”.

We need a control center. From here you can manage networks and access. You will need to configure the connection. This will be a new direction.

You will need an active “Connect to workplace” button. Go ahead. “Use my Internet connection” will appear at the top of the form. Let's make a selection. A form will appear where you enter in the stated sequence:

  • Business Communication;
  • Check the "Don't connect now" checkbox. You will be prompted to simultaneously check for future connections;
  • move on.

On the page that opens, enter your username and password. This information is provided when signing an agreement for the provision of communication services. Place a marker in the box that asks you to remember your password. Next, a working connection will be displayed. The form can be closed.

While in Control Center, continue working with custom metrics. In the form, click on “Change adapter settings”. The active and passive connections will be highlighted. Click on the configured option and select Properties. This is done through the right key.

You will be on the General form. Here the address information regarding the VPN server is checked. The right look: inter.net.

In the “Security” form, you also need to make certain settings. Place here VPN type. There is no need to register anything. It is enough to use the drop-down list. Select the item: L2TP/IPsec. In the “data encryption” line, enter: optional. Click OK.

Stay in the connections tab. Here you will need to create a shortcut for “Business Connection”.

When you see a message that an icon cannot be created in this folder, agree to move it to your desktop.

Go to the main screen. Here you will find the corresponding label. Double-click with the left mouse button. A window will appear where you should select “Connection”.

You can check this point by following this path:

  • go to “Network and Internet”;
  • specify the section you are interested in. This is the control center;
  • you need to check the configured indicators. Go to the form where the adapter settings are changed;
  • Before finding the information you are interested in, read the sections. Will need " Network connections»;

  • clause on obtaining an IP address in an automatic way must be activated, click OK.

Now we can say with confidence that the connection to the VPN is complete.

How to connect a VPN on Windows XP

Getting started is exactly the same as in version 7 of the OS. After activating the creation of a connection, the Connection Wizard will automatically launch. With it you will resolve the issue faster and more conveniently. After following “Next”, find the second item. It will allow you to connect to the network on your desktop.

Keep tuning. You will see the “Connection name” window. Specify Business Connection. Proceed to the second stage.

Stop at “Select VPN Server”.

You will be taken to the last page of the wizard. Check the box where you are offered to display a shortcut on the desktop. Complete the procedure.

Confirming settings and creating a shortcut on the desktop

Click the right mouse button on the window that appears. Go to "Properties". In the first tab, check the VPN server address. It should be written here: inter.net. Go to "Options". Mark with the marker “Call back when connection is lost.” Then open “Security”. Remove the checkbox from “Data encryption required.”

The connection window appears. It asks for a username and password. Enter the information provided by your Internet service provider when completing the contract. Place a marker next to the prompt to save passwords. Start connecting.

As in the option discussed above, double-check that you received the IP address. It should be done automatically. This is done through Start. Find "Network and Internet Connections". From the suggested sub-items, select “Network connections”. Find “Local Area Connection”, right-click to get to Properties. Here you need to highlight TCP/IPv4. Then you need to go to Properties again. Now check for the checkbox next to the offer to register your IP address automatically.

In this lifehack we will tell you, how to bypass the Odnoklassniki ban, ways to bypass blocking, not as complicated as it might seem at first.

I don’t know where the government and the president of Ukraine are looking, but for the most part, he simply deprived the majority of citizens of one of the main methods of communication and many more of their income. Experts have already estimated that such a step undermined the country's economy by one billion dollars. Certainly Odnoklassniki blocking (bypass programs which we will look at a little later) will affect income and Russian companies, but to a greater extent on the profits of its own citizens. In general, let's not talk about sad things, but move on to the main thing.

How to access your Odnoklassniki page bypassing the blocking

There are many ways to do this, from complex to super easy. Here we will tell you only about the simplest ones, because the majority of users social network They have average PC skills, so let's not complicate life.

4. Now click on the plugin icon to the right of address bar and click “Click to Connect”.

If necessary, you can select the country manually.

How to bypass Odnoklassniki blocking in Opera

For users of this browser, everything is still simpler and solvable. The developers thought about this and implemented the VPN system directly into the web browser. In order to bypass the Odnoklassniki blocking in Opera you need to:

1. Go to settings Alt+P.

2. Go to the “Security” tab and check the box next to “Enable VPN”.

And that’s it, enjoy unlimited surfing on the Internet.

How to bypass Odnoklassniki blocking on Android and iPhone

There is a lot for this useful application, called Opera VPN. All you need to do is find it in Play Market or iTunes and install it. Next, go into it and click “Connect”. Now any application or browser on your phone will use the selected (automatically or manually) region, which will allow you to bypass local blocking.

Now you know browsers that bypass Odnoklassniki blocking and how to access the site in just a few steps.

Hi all! I’m in touch with you again, Alexey. In this short post you will learn how to access a site blocked by Roskomnadzor. Quite interesting isn't it? You've probably come across resources on the Internet that you couldn't open.

Sometimes it happens that some resource becomes inaccessible on the Internet by decision of Roskomnadzor. And as a result, you cannot load the site because it is blocked by your ISP. For example, the same torrent tracker rutracker.org was blocked at the request of copyright holders. That was a year ago and to this day he remains blocked in Russia. You can check it yourself. This is what it looks like:

In general, after reading this article, you will be able to access absolutely any site. It also happens that some foreign resources are limited in access to visitors from other countries. Or, for example, you are abroad, and you need to open your favorite website that is not available.

So how can you learn to open blocked sites? There is more than one way. Although the principle is the same, but in a different execution. Now I’ll tell you everything, read on.

What is the principle?

As I already said, the principle is the same, but the execution is different. In order to download a blocked resource, you must be in another country. Who would move for such a trifle? Nobody. This is why, and not only why, there are so-called intermediaries. That is, this is a computer that will be located in another country and that will be able to transfer its traffic to us. They are called proxy servers. There is also VPN networks. All this can be paid or free. Actually, this way we will get access to any site. This is the principle - to use an intermediary between the user and the Internet.

A proxy allows several computers to access the Internet through one, which is actually a proxy server. That is, you can configure local network at home or at work by connecting several computers, one of which will have Internet access. Special software is required for implementation. I won't go into details. I just wanted you to know about it Additional Information so to speak about the essence of a proxy.

With VPN networks it’s a little different. This is a completely different technology, but nevertheless it will be an intermediary. You will enter a private network and exit into a global one

Turbo mode in Opera and Yandex Browser

The easiest way to open a blocked resource is to turn on turbo mode. IN normal mode the browser acts directly, immediately accessing the server of the site you need. If the turbo mode function is enabled, then your web browser accesses the Opera or Yandex Browser servers. Depending on what you are using. The server accepts the request and “goes” to load the web page for you. After downloading, it transfers it to you. This is how it works somehow. In addition to this feature, the servers will compress the traffic transmitted to you. Actually, this is the main purpose of this opportunity. It's not called "Turbo" for nothing

True, this does not always work if you are going to load sites through the Yandex browser. This is all due to the fact that some Yandex servers are located in Russia. Therefore, such a trick may not work. But you can always add an add-on and not think about it. By the way, since I started talking about extensions, I suggest you read the post here. There I talked about add-ons for Yandex Browser.

How to enable turbo mode in Opera: Click on "Menu" in the top left corner of the screen and select "Opera Turbo".

How to enable turbo mode in Yandex Browser: Enter in url stringbrowser://settings and go down to the very end without opening " Extra options" Check the "Always" box. Or go to the link browser://tune and activate the mode.

Special browser extensions

Eat special extensions, which help you change your IP address. When enabled, the web browser accesses the site server through a proxy. I have provided examples of extensions below.

  • For Firefox: anonymoX
  • For Opera: ZenMate VPN
  • For Yandex Browser and Chrome: FriGate

FriGate is already in the list of add-ons in the Yandex web browser. You just need to activate it. Go to the address browser://tune and turn it on.

For Chrome or Yandex Browser users, I suggest using an extension that will help save traffic and access blocked sites in one go. Google Developer. You can download it here. The truth is that it doesn’t work with HTTPS requests.

Special browser versions

I never use this option. Somehow it didn’t stick. Such browsers immediately work through several proxy servers, thereby helping to maintain deeper anonymity on the network and provide access to all resources on the Internet. I would like to note that when using such web browsers, sites load much slower. It’s either anonymity and access to resources, or speed. We'll have to prioritize

Here is one of them - Tor Browser. There is also Globus. Which one to download is up to you. Both are similar to Chrome in terms of interface. However, I recommend the first option.

Web anonymizers

Web anonymizers are an Internet resource with an input form. Everything is simple here. You need to enter the url of the resource you want to open. Great for occasional use. The Internet is full of them and easy to find. Personally, I use hideme.ru. Through the site you can access any others in an anonymous state.

There is one more good anonymizer, it's called a chameleon. I suggest you try it. Here he is .

Online text translators

With the help of such services, you can open a blocked site once or twice, and also get a translation I use Google Translate. Haven't let you down yet! Just copy the link into the first translation form, an active link will appear in the second one that you can click on. Click and enjoy bypassing site blocking

Computer programs

Yes... There are also programs that will help solve this problem. In addition to the web anonymizer, hideme.ru has a program that you can freely download and install on any operating system. That is, even on your phone with Android or iOS (iphone). You can try the full functionality for free for just one day. Then you have to pay.

For those who don’t want to pay, I suggest you cheat! You are given a unique key that is linked to an E-mail address. IN free version it is valid for 24 hours. You can get a new one by entering a different E-mail. Everything is logical. Yes, just register every time Email addresses not so much fun. Therefore, you can find mail for 10 minutes. Search the Internet. Or do as I did, create a new one mailing address in an already existing one. This function is available in mail.ru, but also in yandex.ru. In gmail, I don’t know how. For mail.ru you need to go to your mail settings and you will see it there at the very end. Here's the link if you need it.

Proxy Switcher

Basically normal program. It just finds a bunch of servers that you can connect to. One thing worries me. I don't know where all these servers come from, honestly. Perhaps they just have a database that is being edited. Don't know. But the program is shareware and many people mention it, so that gives me a little confidence.

Proxifier

A simple proxy client. To use it you need to know the IP address, port and version proxy server, in order to configure. To find all this, you can use the Internet and find free proxies sheets.

Hide IP Easy

Another program that will hide your ip. You will be able to open blocked sites, depending on the country you choose, and remain anonymous. True, it's paid

Underwater rocks

I decided to talk about them last. I won’t rant too much. Briefly and clearly. If you have any questions, write in the comments.

In general, the danger lies in free proxy servers. If it belongs to an attacker, then you may regret it. But what could possibly happen? The whole point is that traffic will pass through his server, thereby giving him the opportunity to delve into it. Let's say you logged into the site by entering your username and password. There is a possibility that an attacker will be able to dig them up. By the way, this is what they do when wi-fi distribution, in a cafe for example. As a result, he will receive the login information, and then you cry bitterly

So it goes. But not always free means bad. Although, of course, it is better to use a paid one, knowing this information. Or carefully choose proxy servers to avoid such situations.

Conclusion

In order to be able to access a blocked resource on the Internet, an intermediary is needed. The computer, which is located over the hill. In order to use it, you need special programs or extensions. I wrote about all this above.

Moreover, VPN and proxy servers help you remain anonymous on the Internet, which reduces the risk of attacks on your computer or mobile device. Unless, of course, you connected to the attacker’s server.

That's all, dear friends! If you have questions, be sure to write in the comments. I also suggest to my blog so as not to miss new posts. See you later!
