How to pay for offers on youdo. How to make money on Yuda

So, what is YouDo? According to the developers:

“YouDo is a convenient service that allows you to quickly and safely find reliable contractors to solve household and business problems.”

Indeed, if you need, for example, to transport things to the other side of town, hang wallpaper, write an article or anything else, you can find a person on YouDo who will do it for you. Moreover, you set the price for your task yourself! It turns out to be a completely mutually beneficial cooperation: you save, and your performer earns.

I’ll tell you more about the terminology of the site:

Customer: The person creating the task. To do this, you only need to register on the site. It is possible not to register specifically, but to log in through social networks: [link], Facebook, Google+ and VK. Very comfortably.

Executor: a person who is ready to complete the customer’s task. In order to become one, you need to not only register on the site, but also go through the verification procedure.

It consists of several points:

1) you need to fill out a questionnaire about yourself. In the form you will need to indicate the telephone numbers of two “guarantors”. These should be people who can answer simple questions about you. My guarantors were asked if they knew me, who they were related to me, my patronymic and year of birth. In general, the questions will be based on the information you provide when filling out the form, nothing complicated. I signed up my sister and husband;

2) pass a test on knowledge of the rules of the service. The test is short and not at all difficult; 3) wait for the manager to call. They called me three days later. They asked if I had registered on the YouDo website and specified my personal information. Immediately afterwards they called my guarantors. The conversation with the manager goes very quickly, it doesn’t even take a couple of minutes. After which you will receive a notification on your phone that you have been assigned the status of performer. Finally!

In general, I would like to say that the devil is not as scary as he is portrayed to be. Although all this seems long and complicated at first glance, in reality it is not so, and there is no need to be afraid of verification.

Offer: This is the performer’s request to complete the task.

After you become a performer, a gift of 500 rubles is credited to your account. Previously, there was such a system: after completing a task, performers paid a commission to the site, something like 15% of the amount earned. Now, due to the abundance of numerous schemes to circumvent this rule, the site works according to a different scheme: offers from performers have become paid, the cost of the offer varies from 15 to 70 rubles, but the commission has been abolished.

On the one hand, this seems to be convenient if you are often chosen as a performer, but on the other hand, you can spend all the money by leaving offers, but you may never be chosen... In general, I personally liked the previous scheme better, but... Alas. By the way, it’s rare, but there are tasks with the customer’s open phone number, that is, free: you can call and negotiate directly.

After you have been chosen as a contractor and you have completed the task, you need to write a few words about how it was for you to work with the customer (or, if you are a customer, then, accordingly, how it was for you to work with the contractor). Reviews form your rating in the eyes of future customers and increase the likelihood that you will be chosen next time.

The rules say that if three negative reviews are received, the account should be blocked, but I have met people with three and four negative reviews, and they all live and live normally and continue to complete tasks. That is, getting a minus is also, in principle, not as scary as it seems.

A bit more about the most important rules resource:

You cannot indicate your contacts in the comments to tasks, otherwise, oh my God!, the resource will not receive its 15 rubles. if the customer contacts you directly. This is a very important rule; moderators on the site quickly monitor and delete such messages.

Insults are prohibited in chat. Naturally.

If controversial situations arise between the customer and the contractor, the resource administration takes responsibility for resolving them. There are known situations when the case came to court.

To prevent you from getting into such unpleasant situations, I want to give you a couple of advice about how to choose the right tasks and customers!

If you are a performer, then:

Firstly, I advise you to ignore customers who have no reviews. I highly recommend it. They throw;

Secondly, do not choose tasks where you need to buy something at your own expense and deliver it. They throw;

Thirdly, do not choose tasks with an inappropriately inflated price. Usually they don't pay for them at all. I mean... they throw it));

fourthly, I advise you not to take tasks with application testing or surveys - scammers find out personal information and manage to extract CVV numbers of bank cards. I think you can imagine the consequences;

And fifthly, prudent customers often offer advance payment themselves, but if yours does not do this, and the cost and volume of work are quite high, do not hesitate and discuss this issue with him yourself.

If there is no one-on-one contact with the customer, then payment by bank card is usually practiced, and there are usually no problems with this either. But sometimes my nerves get frayed. I once had to be reminded five times that he forgot to pay me extra. But nothing, everything turned out fine in the end.

I think the main disadvantage of the resource is that most tasks are available only for Moscow and St. Petersburg. Although there is a “Virtual Assistant” job category, you can find something there for remote work.

Since YouDo is still a fairly young project, I think the time will come when it will spread to all other regions.

In conclusion, I can say that finding a part-time job on this site is quite possible! You just need to approach tasks using common sense and adequate requirements. So, I wish you to find good customers and responsible performers there and gain useful and interesting experience.

Or place orders

I am a freelancer: I receive a salary not once a month, but per order.

Yudu is a low-cost airline in the world of household services. If cleaning a three-room apartment in the Klin service costs about 3,000 RUR, then at Yuda they will charge 1,500 RUR for this. Official delivery of goods from Ikea costs 2,200 RUR, and purchases will be delivered to Yuda for 700 RUR, and the performer will also buy everything himself.

How to use

Complete your profile

To post a task on Yuda, you need to register and tell us about yourself. You can fill out your profile to a minimum if you need cleaning, minor household repairs or moving.

If you create tasks in the “Buy and Deliver” category, then it is better to fill out the profile in detail. When a performer takes on such tasks, he spends his money on purchases. He takes risks: customers are different, some may deceive. If you link your social networks and upload a photo, you will be more trusted. Yudu does not show your personal information to performers. They only show the phone number to the performer you select in the task.

Be sure to check your city. Once I forgot to change it when moving and for a long time I could not find someone to do simple tasks: they didn’t see me in St. Petersburg, and they didn’t understand me in Moscow.

How to use

Describe the task in detail

After using the service for a year, I became convinced that the better you formulate the task, the more responses there will be and the easier it is to choose the contractor with the lowest price.

Badly

We need to deliver something from the Airport to Smolenskaya, preferably as quickly as possible.

Fine

You need to pick up a package with documents from Chernyakhovsky, 4a and take it to Plyushchikha, 20.

On Chernyakhovsky there is the Azimut business center. At the checkpoint you need to call the phone, an employee will take out the package. On Plyushchikha - an ordinary apartment.

The package must be picked up tomorrow, March 20, before 12 am. Deliver to Plyushchikha - after 20 o'clock. You can bring the package to Plyushchikha the day after tomorrow, March 21, at any time.

I will leave a tip for fast and accurate execution.

Badly

The apartment urgently needs cleaning, three rooms and a bathroom, the shelves need to be wiped down. Broken street, house 3. Also a refrigerator and a stove. There are NO cleaning products, bring your own.

Fine

The apartment needs cleaning.

Area 85 m²: bedroom, children's room, living room, kitchen. Separate bathroom. I am attaching photos.

What should be done:

  1. Vacuum and wash the floor everywhere. There is laminate flooring in the rooms, tiles up to the ceiling in the kitchen and bathroom.
  2. Dust the shelves, closet, window sills and piano.
  3. Clean the toilet, sinks and bathtub.
  4. Clean the refrigerator and oven.

The apartment is not dirty, we clean it ourselves regularly.

We have a vacuum cleaner. There are no cleaning products or rags.

We will be at home during the cleaning, but we will try not to interfere.

The order must be completed strictly tomorrow, from 12 to 18 o'clock.

If you describe the task briefly, performers will start asking questions in the comments. You will have to answer them - you will spend more time than on a clear task.

How to use

Don't agree to the first offer

When you describe and publish the task, performers will begin to respond to it.

Yuda has popular categories, for example, “Courier services”, “Household repairs”, “Cargo transportation”. For tasks in such categories, the first proposals come within a minute. In an hour there will be several dozen of them.

Resellers

In addition to the usual performers, there are resellers at Yuda. They take tasks, resell them cheaper and keep the difference.

I don't like working with resellers. They dump and give work to unpleasant individuals. You order a clean van for moving, and a dirty gazelle arrives with some pieces of iron lying around. You hire a cleaner in a branded robe and equipment to wash the windows, and instead of her comes a tired woman in jeans and wipes the windows with a newspaper.

To recognize a reseller, look at his specialization and profile. It is unlikely that a fragile secretary girl will take on the task of chiselling walls. Often resellers are not shy and write directly: “Our boys will do everything in the best possible way!”

Wait a couple of hours before assigning an executor. During this time, your ad will receive a lot of responses, and there will be plenty to choose from.

There are two types of responses to tasks in Yuda: questions and suggestions.

In questions, performers clarify details

In proposals, the price is reported. You can agree to the proposals

The questions usually contain nonsense - ignore them. The performers ask for a hint about the price and offer to change the terms of the assignment. Sometimes they try to give you their phone number. Administrators delete such comments.

Choose from offers. Look at the price and reviews of the performers. The more reviews, the better. Experienced performers also show badges next to their photographs: “Top 100”, “Verified”.

I don’t really trust grades: usually everyone gives A’s, like in a taxi. Reviews are more important - they write it as it is: I was late, did something bad, asked for more money.

The performers are ordinary guys

Previously, it seemed to me that desperate people who could not find another job worked for Yuda. But that's not true.

Some people simply cannot sit idle and happily take on work in their free time. My order from Ikea was brought by an entrepreneur in an expensive German SUV - he bought it on the way from his country house. During the move, the things were loaded by the owner of the printing house - he said that he worked as a loader all his youth and simply loved to carry things. And once a translator and linguist was doing the cleaning - and she did an excellent job, and we talked about high things.

How to deal with performers

Check details. Before completing the task, check important details: time, phone number and address. I also ask about the final cost: sometimes performers price consumables separately.

Yudu has a chat with performers, but I prefer to write SMS. If they don't answer, I call. If they don’t pick up the phone or call back, I cancel the order and look for another one.

Take the job. Make sure the job is done well before you pay.

I check that the floor is clean everywhere and that there are no traces of cleaning product left on it. I check the dust on the window sills and shelves. I lift objects that were on the floor or shelves: there should be no dust marks around them

I check all my purchases against my list. I return money for purchases using a receipt. I collect documents and warranty cards for household appliances

I ask the master to tell me what he did. I check the result: plug in the hairdryer, put things on the shelf, open and close the window

Pay after work, do not pay in advance. Some performers ask for an advance payment: they say they need to refuel the car or purchase consumables.

I’m not discounting: I’m afraid of scammers. I don’t believe that the contractor could get to work with an empty tank, and the window repairman doesn’t have lubricant for the hinges. If they persistently demand money, I refuse and look for another performer.

Return money to friends, pay rent and transfer money to grandma while drinking juice on your block

Work is usually paid for in cash. But I like to transfer from card to card. It is worth warning the contractor about this in advance. A couple of times there was no cash. I had to go with the technicians to the ATM - they were afraid that I would cheat during the transfer.

Collect evidence of work. One day my washing machine broke down. I found a contractor with the minimum price for the work. The master tinkered with the car for several minutes and confidently declared: the pump was broken. And - lo and behold! - he has with him a suitable new pump, which he is ready to replace for 6000 R along with the work.

The master asked for the old sediment and said that he would take it apart for parts. After his visit the car really started working. But I was tormented by doubts: diagnostics at first sight, I have a new part with me, I took the old one. I read on the Internet that clippers often become clogged with cat hair. The technicians quickly clean them, and there is no need to change the pump.

I still don’t know if I was deceived or not. I don't even know if the master actually replaced the part or just pretended to. I should have been more attentive: ask to see the old and new pumps, tell them about the breakdown. You should ask for a passport for a new part, and keep the old one for yourself.

Leave a review and rating. After completing the task, customers click the “Task Completed” button, write a review about the performer and give him a rating. Ratings and reviews are important for performers: their rating on Juda depends on them. The higher the rating, the more orders and money.

The contractor also leaves a rating and review about the customer. Other performers will focus on them in the future:

My reviews of "Yuda"

If something went wrong

The performer didn't show up- click on the “Task failed” button. Choose from other performers who have left suggestions under the task.

Job done poorly- put units in your ratings and describe the quality of work in your review. The support team will contact you. If you haven’t contacted us, call yourself on +7 495 668-65-33 (from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily).

The contractor demands more money for the work- show the cost of the work in the task that the contractor accepted, and do not pay more. If a conflict is brewing, it’s better to pay and immediately call the support service.

If you don't know how much your hour costs, do the math. Maybe you actually earn less than the performer on Yuda. A good reason to change your profession or take on a part-time job.

Remember

  1. "Yudu" is best suited for simple household tasks.
  2. Before creating tasks, fill out a profile to ensure you are trusted.
  3. Describe tasks in detail so as not to answer stupid questions later.
  4. Do not agree to the first offer from the performers, wait a few hours.
  5. After your work, please leave an honest review.
  6. If a problem occurs, call support.
