Why delivery via US Postal Service - Russian Post is not the best choice

And if it does, then the parcel is no longer tracked after it leaves the United States. This is due to the fact that parcels, or rather small packages (maximum weight is limited to 2 kg) are delivered to Russia in huge bags, i.e. “in bulk” and Russian Post (which makes “ the last mile") does not scan every single barcode. As a result, according to eBay rules, in the event of a parcel being lost, the buyer will need to open a dispute, the consideration of which usually takes one and a half to two months.

Another feature of the “US Post – Russian Post” channel is the inability to independently control the entire progress of delivery to your home. If the package is delayed or lost, you will be asked to send a claim to the Post Office and open a dispute on Ebay. But you need your newly purchased $800 laptop, not an open dispute with an unclear timeline for a solution!
