The abbreviation BIOS stands for Basic Input Output System ( basic system input/output). BIOS is software on a small memory chip motherboard PC (CMOS - complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor structure). This system settings software acts as an interface between the PC hardware and the operating system (such as Windows), allowing the software to control the computer's hardware components.

The other day I came across a strange Dell Inspiron 7737 laptop, with a damaged and “unbootable” operating system Windows system 7, on which neither the BIOS entry (F2 key) nor the boot menu using the F12 key worked, the case was not very standard and we had to deal with a simple problem in more detail.
