MAIN FUNCTIONS
4.1. Controlling the receiver using an external IR signal receiver from the remote control
This functionality allows you to control the receiver even if you need to place it in a place that is inconvenient for control with the remote control. To do this, it is possible to use an external IR receiver (not included in the package) for signals from the remote control, which, regardless of the location of the receiver, can be placed in the place where it is convenient for you to point the remote control. To control the receiver using the remote IR receiver:
1.Connect an external IR receiver via the IR connector on the back of the receiver.
2. Place the receiving part of the external IR receiver in a place convenient for directing the remote control.
NOTE!
Regardless of whether an external IR receiver is connected, the receiver always receives signals from the remote control when you point the remote control at the front panel area of the receiver.
4.2. Hint message
Each time the receiver is turned on in operating mode, a window with short information messages and hints about receiver applications or broadcast operator services is displayed on the TV screen. To scroll through information messages, select the electronic button " Further" and click the " OK».
To close the window during current viewing, select the electronic button " Close" and click the " OK" You can also close the window by pressing the " EXIT».
To disable the appearance of this window for all subsequent activations of the receiver in operating mode, select the electronic button “Do not show again” and press the button “ OK».
4.3 Switching TV channels and radio stations

4.4 Infobanners

Pressing green button « F2» when viewing an extended infobanner, opens a window with additional information about the satellite, provider, frequency, polarization, symbol rate, error correction mode (FEC), broadcast standard, program channel identifiers, as well as signal strength and quality scales. 4.9 Lists of favorite TV channels and radio stations, genre categories
To display a list of lists of favorite TV channels and radio stations (favorite lists, generated by the user - for more details, see section 5.1.13 " Channel editor") and lists of TV channels by genre categories (automatically generated by the broadcast operator, editing is not available), click blue button « F4» in program viewing mode.
When you select a list, the names of the TV channels or radio stations contained in the selected list are displayed on the screen.
Moving the cursor between the names of the lists of TV channels and radio stations (on the screen on the left) and the names of the channels included in the list (on the screen on the right) is carried out using the cursor buttons < / > , between channel lists and channels in the list - cursor buttons up/ down. 2. While in each specific list, you will only be able to switch between TV channels and radio stations included in this list. To watch other TV channels or listen to radio stations not included in the selected favorite list, you should go to the list " TV"or " Radio».
4.10 Selecting an audio channel
The broadcast operator can transmit TV channels and radio stations with several sound options, for example, on different languages. To select the required option, click green button « F2" A menu window will appear with a list available languages accompaniment of audio tracks (audio channels). If appropriate audio language naming information is provided by the broadcast operator, the names of the available audio languages will be displayed in this list.
To select the desired audio track, use the cursor buttons up / down, to select the sound output mode (stereo, left mono, right mono), use the cursor buttons < / > . 2.Depending on the type of subtitles, they are displayed either as text directly on top of the image (DVB) or inside black rectangles (teletext subtitles). When subtitles are on, the volume bar display is disabled.
4.12 Calling teletext
It is possible to view teletext pages if it is transmitted by the broadcast operator as part of the TV channel signal. To do this:
1 .Click yellow button « F3».
2 .Using the cursor buttons < / > select " Teletext" and click the " OK».
3 .A loading bar for teletext pages will appear at the top of the screen, after which you will need to wait a while for the teletext window to load to display on the screen.
Use the number buttons to call up teletext pages 0-9 or cursor buttonsup / down.
In some cases, if the relevant information is provided by the broadcast operator, the colored buttons on the remote control may be used to navigate through the teletext content.

4.13 Current time
Simultaneous display of the current time on the receiver display, day of the week, date and current time on the TV screen is called by pressing the button " TIME» on the remote control. After a few seconds, the day of the week and date disappear and only the time is displayed. To turn off the time display, press the button TIME» again. 4.14 On-screen keyboard

4.16 TV Guide
Service " TV guide» provides information about television or radio programs for each television channel or radio station by date and time. You can schedule viewings based on this information. The basic software configuration includes the features described later in this section. Inclusion " TV guide» is carried out by pressing the button « TV GUIDE» on the remote control while watching/listening to television or radio programs. SETTING A REMINDER (TIMER)
To set a reminder-timer for a television or radio program of interest, when viewing a detailed description of the program, move the cursor to the line “ Reminder" and pressing the button " OK» move the switch to position « ON».
To save a timer reminder, select the electronic button " OK" and click the " OK", a stylized alarm clock symbol will appear next to the TV or radio program.

4.17 “Tricolor TV Cinemas”

NOTE!
In the movie viewing mode using the interface of the Tricolor TV Cinemas package, the following buttons on the remote control remain active:

4.18 Updating receiver software from satellite
If necessary, satellite television operator " Tricolor TV» can initiate automatic update software of the receiver as part of the signal from the satellite.
While switching TV channels, a window will appear on the screen informing you that new software is available and asking you to confirm the update.

If the update is successful, an information message about the successful software update will appear on the TV screen, and the receiver will automatically reboot from new version BY.

4.18 Updating receiver software via USB connector
NOTE!
1.During the software update process, do not turn off the power of the receiver and do not disconnect the USB flash drive!
2.USB flash drive must be formatted in FAT32. You can format (if necessary) a USB flash drive either using a computer or using a receiver (see section 5.1.1 " Disk»)
To update the receiver software via USB, follow these instructions:
1 .On a USB flash drive in the root directory, write down the download file for updating the software.
2 .Paste USB flash drive into the USB connector of the receiver that is turned off or on.
3 .After a short period of time, a message will appear on the TV screen asking you to update the software.
To confirm the request, you must select " OK"Using the FM buttons" and press the " OK» on the remote control, after which the receiver software will begin updating.

MAIN MENU
The main menu is called up by pressing the button " MENU» remote control and is intended for quick access to your most frequently used applications. To create and fill the main menu with applications of your choice, use the " Menu editor" (see section 5.1.14 " Menu editor»).
By default, the main menu contains: " Applications», « Cinema halls« Tricolor TV», « Search« Tricolor TV», « On the air!», « Settings».

Most applications are full screen and contain:
- Title.
- Panel function buttons, which contains four colored buttons that appear on the screen in the same colors as those on the remote control. If the button is active, it has a corresponding label. - Nested tabs. To select a tab, usually displayed at the top of the screen, use the cursor buttons < / > .
- List of configurable parameters. Use the cursor buttons to move the cursor between options < / > . 5.1.4 Screensaver
This application allows you to force the screen saver to turn on.

5.1.7 Reminders
This application allows you to set reminder timers for viewing television channel or listen to a radio station at a time you set, and also contains a list of all scheduled reminder timers. To add a TV channel or radio station to the list of scheduled shows, click red button « F1". In the window that opens " Schedule a viewing»

Before the timer starts, an information message about the scheduled start time of watching/listening to a TV channel or radio station will appear on the screen in the “Reminders” menu.
5.1.8 Settings
Application " Settings» is intended for setting the receiver settings. Switch between tabs in top line screen is done using buttons 7. Switching between the customizable parameters of each tab is done using the A)l [ f> buttons. Selecting one of the options for a specific parameter setting - using the * buttons / confirming the choice - the " button OK».
TAB " LANGUAGE» Menu - the language selected in this item will be used to display the menu; Audio 1 - this language will be selected by the receiver automatically as the program audio language;
Audio 2 - the language selected in this line will be selected by the receiver automatically as the audio language of the program if the language specified in Audio 1 is not among the audio languages available on this channel;
5.1.8.1 VIDEO TAB Screen format
