There, the parameters of your computer are automatically determined and an assembly suitable for your operating system and browser is prepared. If you have Windows, then there will be Flash Player for Windows, the same goes for browsers. I use Mozilla Firefox and they offer me an option that suits it.
Additionally, Adobe offers to install programs that protect against viruses. Whether or not to use this offer is up to everyone to decide for themselves, but I prefer never to take different add-ons and use full-fledged anti-virus programs, therefore, I remove the checkboxes.
After clicking the install button, the assembly that is relevant for your system is prepared for some time and its downloading starts automatically. If you are configured to save all files to the download folder, then the installation file will be there, but if you did it like I did - always ask where to save the file, then you will need to indicate where to save the distribution.
After launching the installation file, you will need to select one update mode option: do you allow or not to install updates? I don't recommend banning it. You should choose notification without installation if you have a slow or traffic-dependent Internet connection, so that you can choose when to download the update. In other cases, I recommend giving permission for automatic updates:

How to install Flash Player on Yandex browser?
The question often arises with installing and updating the plugin on the Yandex browser. The problem is that at the moment this browser is not automatically detected by the Adobe website and the assembly of the plugin for it must be done independently - choosing the operating system and browser. But, again, Yandex is not in the list of browsers.
The solution is already shown in the picture. Since the Yandex browser runs on the Chromium engine (read Chrome), to install and update Adobe Flash Player on the Yandex browser, select the item about Opera and Chromium (it is highlighted with a dotted line).
How can I update the Adobe Flash Player plugin?
Let's start with the fact that the player, as a rule, has automatic monitoring of the release of new versions (selected during installation) and, if they appear, you see this message:

It’s another matter when automatic updating is disabled, or some kind of failure occurs and the message that I gave at the beginning of the article appears - that the plugin is out of date. In this case there are 2 options:
- We follow the same path as when installing Flash Player described above.
- Click on the non-working Flash element on the page or on the notification icon in the address bar of the browser - a link to update the plugin will appear there.
To summarize, installing Flash Player and updating it have completely identical procedures.
If the Adobe Flash plugin is installed but does not work
There was a case in my memory when Flash elements did not want to work in my browser. The update didn't help. I install a new version of Flash Player, but it still says that it is outdated.
This happens rarely, but if this is your case, you need to fix it somehow.
To perform the operation, we use a special utility from Adobe - Uninstal Flash Player.
The algorithm for working with the utility is as follows (it is described in detail on that page, I will give it briefly):
- Download the Uninstal Flash Plauer utility from the page above.
- Close all browsers and applications that can use Flash.
- Run the uninstaller and follow its recommendations.
- Delete the contents of all folders previously used by Adobe Flash Player. To do this, open the command line (in the start tab “standard” -> “run”). In the window, enter the following commands one by one, click “OK” and delete the contents of the opened folders:
- C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash
- C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
- %appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
- %appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player
- After cleaning, restart your computer.
Now you can recheck the plugin using the method described at the beginning, it should show that you do not have the player installed. And re-download the latest version of Flash Player from the Adobe website, as I showed in the article two points above.
Problem with disabled plugin
Another example where everything should work, but doesn't. You may have the latest version of Flash Player installed, but the plugin will not run to process the required elements - it is simply disabled in the browser settings.
Check its settings.
In Mozilla Firefox, in the upper right corner, expand the “Open Menu” tab and select “Add-ons”.
On the left, select “Plugins”, in the list you need “ShockWave Flash” - opposite it can be “never enable” or “enable upon request”, select “always enable”.
For Yandex browser, the plugin settings section is opened by entering the command in the address bar:
