The Zadarma company receives its money only for outgoing calls from clients at humane IP-telephony prices (or incoming calls, if we are talking about Toll Free numbers. Plus they can charge a nominal fee for renting a landline number. For example, a Moscow direct number in code 499 will cost only 120 rubles per month. And a number in the prestigious code 495 will be given for free if there were more than 700 incoming calls per month. By the way, when registering, they are not afraid to give 20 rubles for calls so that you can evaluate the quality service even before the first replenishment of the account.

The expenses of each individual user may be small, but more than 500 thousand registered customers around the world are a serious number. Therefore, the company can afford to keep prices low and give customers a lot of free services just “for the good looks”, making money on the number of users. The website promises “PBX in 5 minutes,” but it takes someone completely unfamiliar with IP telephony about 30 minutes. Operations step by step:

  • Register on the website (big button at the top), check your connection for free and top up your account, list of top up options. It seems that all imaginable and inconceivable methods are present, from credit cards, QIWI and WebMoney to exotics such as Z-payment. It’s easier to say what the account cannot be replenished through: I didn’t find a transfer by Russian Post in the list.
  • Select and buy a number. This will take some time. There are a lot of available rooms, and there is a great temptation to rummage through the list and choose a prettier number for yourself. To obtain a number, you need to send a scan of your passport; documents are checked during the day. There is nothing to be done, the legislation requires it, and “Zadarma” operates in Russia legally and officially.
  • Now turn on your PBX in your personal account and go through the “Setup Wizard”. Nothing complicated: you can create internal telephone numbers (up to 50), set up a voice greeting, configure a sequence of internal numbers to which calls from “outside” will be received. And other little things. For example, by specifying your city from the list, you can dial a local number not in international format.

  • The last step is to download and configure programs for calls from a computer, tablet and smartphone. There are different applications for all operating systems; on smartphones with Android OS older than 4.x, you can use the built-in SIP client.

Conversations on any of the internal numbers can be automatically recorded and received recordings to your email address.

You may need to set up a caller ID (if two or more numbers are purchased), your interlocutor will display one of the numbers registered in “Zadarma”. For example, the Moscow city car you bought. You can enable automatic faxing (yes, some people still send faxes), then the documents sent to you will be sent to your email address.

And many more useful and pleasant little things. For example, the “white list” is individual for each internal telephone number. A call from a number included in this list is immediately routed to the specified extension number, bypassing the standard greeting and voice menu.

The setup process may seem complicated, but in practice everything is intuitive and clear. Moreover, you only need to do this once, but as a result you will receive modern telephone services, ideally “tailored” to your needs.

Flexibility

Don’t forget that calls within your network (that is, between internal PBX numbers) are free for all employees. But the main thing is the complete flexibility and scalability of the cloud PBX. It is equally suitable for an enterprise or small call center, as well as for employees who spend a lot of time traveling. Or even live in another country, why not? The caller will not even guess about this when dialing a regular Moscow phone number. I have not analyzed other options for their services and will not review them. 5) Some responded that Zadarma did not return their money. The quality has never failed, the functionality is sufficient, plus a huge selection of numbers, up to the gold numbers of UFA (which we use). BE CAREFUL WHEN WORKING WITH “FOR FREE”!!! THEY ARE BLOCKING THE ACCOUNT AND PREVIOUSLY PAID SERVICES WITHOUT EXPLANATION OF REASONS!!! I have used the services of IP Telecom Bulgaria LTD (zadarma.com project) since 2010 in total to receive calls from relatives from Ukraine. Moreover, I brought at least 6 clients to the company who are still using their services. On 10/31/16 I registered account 565223 to work in Ukraine and Russia. Provided your passport details and registered phone numbers. No illegal activity was carried out on these phones, however, on December 23, 2018, my account was blocked without explanation and since then I have not been able to use previously paid services: 1. I cannot call the purchased numbers; 2. I can’t make calls from my account - because I can’t top up my account; 3. One of these days one of my numbers will be removed from the list - I cannot renew it. Communication with the support service for 5 days did not bring any results. Be careful when working with this organization!!!

Tariff features

Virtual PBX Zadarma is provided as one of the services. It is shareware. Subject to regular replenishment of the account (at least once every 3 months for any amount, or from 1800 rubles every six months, or from 3600 rubles once a year), otherwise a fixed fee is charged - 180 rubles. per month (if no replenishment was made).

A subscriber (legal entity or individual) can be connected to one of the following communication tariffs:

  • Economy. Assumes its own grid on minute by minute tariffication of calls in various directions, as well as the use of routes with high quality communications. There is no subscription fee or package of included minutes.
  • Standard. It's already per second pricing and a starting package of 100 minutes for landline phones in 7 countries (including Russia, after 30 days unused minutes expire and are no longer provided). There is no subscription fee
  • Free. Together with minute by minute according to the tariff plan, you get a starter package of 30 and 400 minutes for landline phones in 40 countries (the first package is provided for 1 month immediately, the second of 400 minutes is given for 2 months, but only after replenishing your account). There is no monthly fee. There are restrictions on using the service with free minutes - no more than 24 unique numbers per day, no more than 1 connection at a time.
  • Unlimited. For 790 rub. per month you get 2000 minutes for calls to landlines in 80 countries and 500 minutes to mobile phones in Russia. There are the same restrictions as in the “Free” tariff. Tariffication - per second.
  • Corporation. The tariff was created specifically for the needs of small businesses and therefore does not have the restrictions described above. Up to 20 simultaneous connections are allowed. At second by second tariffs for 3200 rub. per month you receive a total of 5,000 minutes for outgoing calls (1,500 minutes to mobile phones in Russia and 6 other countries, 2,000 minutes to landlines in Russia and 6 other countries, and 1,500 minutes for outgoing calls to other 40 countries). On a separate request, the volume of all calls can be doubled (the payment will also increase).

Regardless of the tariff, communication between Zadarma subscribers is always free.

Customers with significant communication expenses may be offered individual tariffs.

Terms of Service

Zadarma telephony is available to both individuals and legal entities.

Immediately after registration, the service credits your personal account balance with 20 rubles, which can only be used to pay for Zadarma services.

The contract with individuals is concluded in the format of an offer (although legal entities are also mentioned in it). The terms and conditions are accepted at the time of registration in the service. At the same time, to connect individual services, for example, for a virtual number, client identification is required. A special solution has been introduced for individuals, working on the basis of data received from the Unified Identification and Identification System (the State Services portal, the user must have a confirmed registration there).

Legal entities sign a classic paper agreement and exchange copies by mail (meaning Russian Post). All other documents (reconciliation statements, invoices) are also sent by mail.

The minimum payment to the account when activating a legal entity account is RUB 1,800.

Multi-level technical support is available around the clock via all communication methods (chat, phone, online request).

8-800 and other multi-channel numbers

Like most other telecom operators, the vast majority of Zadarma virtual numbers have a subscription fee and a fixed connection fee.

However, an exception is made for federal 8-800 numbers - there is no monthly fee. It has been replaced by a minimum monthly payment, which is spent on paying for incoming calls.

Another popular direction of calls - Moscow numbers 495, are also provided free of charge (the offer is valid for incoming calls from 700 minutes per month, otherwise 290 rubles will be charged if the call volume does not exceed 400 minutes, and 160 rubles for the 400 range -700 minutes per month).

If you are not satisfied with the monthly fee for numbers 495, you can select a number from the pool 499, then the monthly payment will be fixed - 120 rubles. per month. Activation of a virtual number in both cases - 0 rub.

The subscription fee includes support for 10 simultaneous connections.
