Next, from the App Store on your mobile device you need to install an application through which we will send photos and videos to the TV. You can also play music on your TV from your iPhone.
I checked a lot of applications, and among the free ones, the most normal ones were “TV Assist” and “iMediaShare”. Although, these applications do not work as we would like. Lots of advertising and other disadvantages. If you are going to frequently stream images using this method, then I advise you to consider paid applications. Working with TV Assist

Another more or less normal program. Install it from the App Store and launch it.

For some reason, my Philips TV did not see this program online. But, on the other hand, I saw an LG TV and sent a photo to it via DLNA without any problems. You can scroll through the photo on your phone, and it will appear on TV.
Only on my iPhone 6 this program worked very unstable. It constantly crashed, especially when trying to open the “Video” folder. So I output the video using the TV Assist program, which I wrote about above.
As you can see, even without Apple TV you can display photos and videos from iOS devices on the big screen TV. All this is wireless and free. True, if you want to buy the program, you will have to spend money.
We broadcast videos from YouTube to TV via iPhone or iPad
If you have a Smart TV, then it should have a built-in YouTube application. But, if you haven’t found it, or it doesn’t work, then you can watch videos from YouTube on your TV using your phone or tablet. You can create playlists and manage it all.
Everything is very simple there. You don't need anything else besides the standard YouTube application. In the application itself, just click on one button (see screenshot below), and the video will start playing on your TV.
