Please note that installing ClockWorkMod is done only once. The next time you back up your system, you will no longer need to install ClockWorkMod!

4. Download the required firmware.

5. Firmware

Note! Before flashing the firmware, be sure to connect the charger to the tablet.

To flash the tablet, select “Install ROM from SD card” in the ROM Manager program menu and select the file with the firmware in the window that appears. If you do not find the firmware file, check if you forgot to copy it to the memory card.

Then select in the next window the actions you need before installation (saving the current firmware is not necessary if you have done this previously) and confirm your choice by clicking “OK”.

The firmware takes about 10 - 15 minutes and the subsequent startup of the tablet system can last about 20 minutes. There are times that after the “Reboot and Install” step, an Android image and a large exclamation mark appear on the screen. This will mean that there is no cryptographic signature for this firmware. Then you will have to reboot the device in recovery mode. To do this, click on the exclamation mark on the screen, the tablet will reboot and you will be taken to the system recovery menu.

The recovery menu can also be accessed from the ROM Manager program by selecting “Load Recovery Mode” from its menu.

Alternatively, you can get to the recovery menu by pressing the “Home” button on the device that is turned off and, without releasing it, press and hold the power button.

In the recovery menu:

- “install zip from sdcard”

- “toggle signature verification” before the message appears "Signature Check: Disabled"
