LCD or LED?

It’s easy to get confused in abbreviations, and the Russian market, which easily substitutes concepts, only aggravates the situation.

Now “LED screens” are called screens with the same liquid crystals: the fundamental difference is that the outdated fluorescent backlight of the first LCDs was replaced with a more advanced LED one.
