The history of Russia is full of events that influenced not only the life of its population, but also the global historical process. Tables devoted to various topics of Russian history make it possible to see a coherent system behind a large number of facts. They also help to trace connections between historical facts, as well as understand the role of prominent individual figures in the destinies of Russia. The laconic form of presentation characteristic of tables allows you to get an explanation of many facts in a small amount of text. There are tables on political, economic history, legal history and cultural history.

  • - The military fate of Russia is distinguished by its richness and diversity. Throughout history, our state has had military conflicts with a variety of countries, but in every contradiction, Russian soldiers and commanders showed highest degree courage.
  • - Without exception, all the rulers of Ancient Rus', the Russian Empire, the USSR and modern Russia were outstanding personalities whose activities were aimed at strengthening our state and developing culture, the economy and the social sphere.
  • - Although, following the results of the Russian-Turkish war of 1735-39. Russia annexed only one city; this war gave it a strategic advantage in the Northern Black Sea region and allowed it to annex this entire region over time.
  • - In Ancient Rus', peace treaties were not given much importance, despite an active foreign policy. Having examined the concluded agreements and learned their nuances, it will be possible to understand the goals of the foreign policy and ambitions of the Rurikovichs.
  • - During the reign of the Romanovs, peace treaties became a regular practice, and the country increased its military potential and international authority. Every agreement concluded at this time is a reflection of Russia’s position in the international arena.
  • - By studying conferences during the Second World War, a person can understand what moods reigned in the world and how the situation at the front changed. It was at these conferences that the most important agreements were concluded and the fate of future generations was decided.
  • - The appearance of Westerners and Slavophiles testified to the awakening of Russian social thought, “pressed down” after the uprising of 1825. Both of them reflected on the future fate of Russia, offering their own options for development.
  • - Starting from the pre-glacial period, or the time of the existence of archanthropes, human society has progressively developed and improved tools, types of economic activity and the type of organization of social life.

Causes of the Troubles at the beginning of the 17th century.

- Dynastic crisis (cessation of the Rurik dynasty: the death of the son of Ivan IV, Tsarevich Dmitry in Uglich (1591), the death of Tsar Fyodor Ivanovich (1598)).
- Crisis of power (struggle for power between boyar groups; emergence of imposture).
- Social crisis (dissatisfaction with their position of all social groups; social protest of the taxable class against enslavement, which took place throughout the 16th century: decrees on “reserved years” (1581), “prescribed years” (1597) - 5-year search for fugitive serfs peasants; the law on servitude; a surge in migration (movement) of the population within the country).

The course of national history in diagrams and tables is a textbook that provides basic information about the past of our country in a condensed, concentrated form.
The use of visual and graphic elements allows you to better understand and assimilate the material, and come closer to comprehending a complex and contradictory historical process. The content also includes historical and etymological components that explain key terms and concepts.
The material is presented in the author's edition based on state educational standards of secondary and higher schools. This publication may be useful for preparing for the Unified State Exam for teachers, schoolchildren, students, and anyone interested in the history of Russia.

This textbook presents the main events and milestones of Russian history compactly and in chronological order in the form of diagrams and tables in the context of their cause-and-effect relationships.

We proceed from the fact that the texts of most modern history textbooks, no matter how interesting they are written, still do not provide a clear perception, understanding and understanding of the complex processes of the historical past. This is intended to be helped by means of graphical visualization, with the help of which each topic is, as it were, “photographed.” This approach is based on the fact that a person’s perception of the surrounding reality is dominated by visual memory, which is irreplaceable, including when studying history.

The use of diagrams and tables will help better remember dates and the essence of historical events, develop memory, logical thinking, analytical abilities, and form a worldview.
