Antenna adjustment

After determining the installation location of the antenna, we need to make sure that there are no factors in its direction that affect the quality of the signal; the angle of elevation to the satellite from the horizon is 27°. If there is a building or a forest belt with tall trees near the installation of a satellite dish and the elevation angle of 27° does not provide throughput signal, then in the chosen place most likely will not bring the desired results. In this case you need to consider other possible places to install Tricolor TV, increasing the distance to a possible obstacle to the signal, or install the dish higher, for example on the roof.

Another factor in choosing a place to install Tricolor TV is a durable mounting surface (concrete, brick, timber). The installation location of the antenna bracket will influence further operation, because... if the bracket is installed on an unstable surface external factors, such as strong wind, can collapse the Tricolor TV antenna or simply tear out the bracket. Also, do not forget about the danger if your antenna is not installed in a private sector, but, say, in a multi-story building, where there may be people or cars under your windows.

After we have determined the installation location and assembled the Tricolor TV dish, we install the antenna bracket and check the reliability of its fastening to the wall.

Now we can install the antenna on the bracket and tighten the adjusting bolts so that the Tricolor TV antenna moves in the vertical and horizontal planes with some force.

If you do not have a device for tuning to a satellite, you need to go to initial installation receiver before selecting an operator. We select “Tricolor TV” operators from the list and ask our friends or relatives to follow the “strength” and “quality” scales.

The closer the TV is to the installation location satellite dish, the easier it is to independently configure the Tricolor TV signal. In this case, you can independently monitor the indicators of the scales on the TV.

The next step for setting up is that you need to approximately set the position of the antenna in the direction of the satellite with an angle from the horizon of 27°; for this you can use a protractor. Now we gradually move the antenna in a horizontal and vertical position and fix it for 5-10 seconds, watching the indication on the “quality” scale. We set the maximum possible reading on the “quality” scale and tighten the adjusting bolts without knocking down the plates.

It is best to tighten them one by one, 1-0.5 turns at a time, this way you will achieve uniform tightening of the fixing bolts and avoid re-tuning the antenna.
