The headphones have a foldable design. To describe the appearance of the headset in a nutshell, it’s gloss, backlighting and an unusual shape of the cups. The design is quite catchy and eye-catching. It cannot exactly be called classic and strict.

The backlight is implemented in the form of stripes on both cups and glows white. It is possible to disable it. This will save some battery power (the backlight can be turned on and off using the buttons on the right earcup). In addition to the fact that the cups themselves have a complex shape, they are located at an angle to the headband, which gives the headset even more individuality and unusualness in terms of appearance.
The design of the cups is two-part. An external rigid base that turns into a headband, and an internal part with speakers. They are movably connected to each other, which allows the headset to take the shape of the head more accurately. The ear pads are made of eco-leather.
The headband is medium wide and has a soft padding on the inside. The compression rigidity of the headband is average. The pressure on the head and ears is minimal. Even with prolonged wear there is no discomfort.
The size adjustment range is sufficient.
All functional elements and controls are located on the right cup. Here we see a micro USB port for charging, a 3.5 mm jack for wired connection, as well as four physical keys. With their help, you can answer calls, control the volume, and also switch tracks. The fact that the headset is equipped with its own controls is of course good. But don’t forget about the coating of the headphones – gloss, which means fingerprints and a spoiled appearance. Therefore, you should use the keys carefully. 
Usage
The headset can operate in both wireless and wired mode. The connection process is very simple and does not cause any difficulties.Let's start with the microphone. In wireless mode, the microphone installed in the cup works. When connected via a cord, the microphone installed on it starts working. And this undoubtedly deserves to be considered an advantage. Since most have a demon wired headphones or there is no cable included at all, or if there is, then without a microphone. In our case, even with complete discharge batteries, the device can be used as a full-fledged headset. In addition to the microphone, the cord has a button for answering calls.
In terms of convenience, the headset leaves extremely positive emotions. Despite the small thickness of the headband pad and ear pads, they do not put any pressure on the head and ears, and the movable fastening of the cups and the impressive range of headband size adjustment allow you to take the individual anatomical shape of the head.

The mass is small. This, coupled with excellent ergonomics, allows you to practically not notice the headphones on your head.
The build quality is beyond question. All parts fit perfectly without creaks or backlash.
The communication range for a wireless connection is standard and is 10 meters.
Time battery life, declared by the manufacturer, practically corresponds to real indicators. At an average volume level, the headphones work for about 16-17 hours.
The sound quality is not bad. Low frequencies are present, but there is no oversaturation. The main emphasis was placed in favor of the mid frequencies, but the very top was slightly cut off. This setting is typical for models of this price segment and allows you to get rid of serious wheezing and noise at high volumes. The sound quality is sufficient to satisfy the inexperienced user.

In conclusion, we can say that SVEN AP-B550MV is a fairly successful model of inexpensive wireless headphones for every day. At a fairly affordable price, we get an interesting (both in terms of appearance and functionality) product that can satisfy the average user.Advantages:

Appearance, design, ergonomics, functionality
No changes - the appearance of the headphones commands respect: solid ear pads, not a flimsy headband, laconic black color, not flashy, but interesting design of the cups a la tortoiseshell. You take them (the headphones) in your hands, and the feeling only intensifies. Nice.
Matte plastic predominates in the design, but other materials are also available. Thus, the headband is based on a metal plate 1 mm thick, lined with foam rubber in the central part and covered with artificial leather.
The design of the headphones is rotary and sliding. Yes, the headband does not fold, which would be convenient for transportation, but the cup holders are made in such a way that the latter can freely rotate in a horizontal plane 30 degrees in one direction and 90 degrees in the other. As a result, one of the dimensions of the headphones can be reduced by almost half.
Using plastic toothed guides on a metal plate, the cup holders move up and down along the headband by 25 mm, and thanks to their fork device, the cups can be tucked 45 degrees in the vertical plane.
According to the technical specifications in our online catalogs, the headphones are defined as over-ear headphones with a closed type of acoustic design. This means that the ear pads are located “over the ear”, on top, and do not cover the entire ear, and the shells of the cups are designed to block external sounds. It’s easier to subscribe to the second statement, but you can slightly argue with the first - the model uses relatively large ear pads, which with their cushions (made, by the way, like the soft insert on the headband, also made of foam rubber and covered with artificial leather) can completely and quite tightly cover the auricle, rather than placing it on top of it.
On each of the cups at the bottom there are control and switching elements. There are buttons on the left Inclusions, volume control More less, as well as a built-in microphone covered with a silver mesh and led indicator headphone status. On the right are buttons Back and forth, Pause/Play and a micro USB port, closed with a cap, for charging the device. All buttons are small in size, made of silver plastic, and have a small stroke of about 0.5-1 mm.
In general, there are no complaints about the design of the stereo headphones - everything is done well, with high quality, the parts are tightly fitted to each other, there are no backlashes or creaks, the moving parts move smoothly and are a little tight, nothing wobbles. There were no comments about the internal filling of the headphones.
The headphones are turned on by pressing and holding the corresponding button for about three seconds. A beep sounds and the LED indicator starts flashing blue. When within range of a signal source with Bluetooth module(PC, laptop, tablet, smartphone, player) occurs automatically (depending on individual settings) pairing and the LED starts to glow blue constantly - the device can be used.
However, if pairing is being done for the first time, you need to put the signal source and stereo headphones into Bluetooth device search mode. On headphones this is done when turned on by pressing and holding the button Inclusion more than 6 seconds – a beep sounds and the LED flashes red and blue alternately. If the search is successful, the name of the headphone model is displayed on the signal source, after which you can activate pairing (sometimes you may need to enter the digital code “0000”).
Stereo headphones support the following Bluetooth profiles:
HFP (Hands-free profile) – connection to a phone, mono sound transmission;
HSP (Headset profile) – connection to a phone, transmission of stereo sound, making calls;
A2DP ( Advanced audio distribution profile) – transmission of a stereo audio stream.
AVRCP (Audio/video remote control profile) – functions remote control.
Thanks to this, using the buttons on the right ear cup, when listening to music, watching videos, you can sort through tracks (videos), pause, start playback, and using the buttons on the left ear cup, answer and end calls ( Inclusion), and also adjust the volume . The user manual states the ability to perform two more functions: calling the last subscriber and activating the function voice dialing long (more than 2 seconds) and short (less than 2 seconds) button press Inclusion respectively. However, in practice, despite the “dancing with a tambourine,” this never happened.
Stereo headphones are turned off by holding the same button Inclusion until the corresponding sound signal appears. The indicator will flash red. About the small amount of remaining charge, the device, like modern smartphone, warns with sound and flashing indicator. The headphones are charged from the USB port or any power adapter with the appropriate connector (micro USB). The indicator glows red constantly and goes out when charging is complete. A study of the design showed that a 360 mAh battery is placed inside.
It's time to touch on the ergonomics of this device - there are pros and cons. Thus, it can be noted that fingerprints are practically invisible during operation, except perhaps a little on the fork part of the cup holders. I also liked how the headphones fit on my head - tightly, but at the same time they do not put pressure. The degree of freedom of the cups relative to the headband, as well as the softness of the leather parts, have a positive effect. deputy It seems that wearing such headphones will not be burdensome for users for a long enough time, as long as their ears do not sweat too much.
But what I didn’t like were the controls, which, subjectively, are too small, and also lie close to each other. Because of this, they are difficult to “read” even despite the small tubercles present on some of them. The buttons should be made larger, spaced further apart, and perhaps placed not on the bottom, but on the sides, on the “turtle shells.”
It is clear that the quality of headphones is not determined only by the ease of wearing and control; the most important role is played by such characteristics as their noise and sound insulation, as well as sound quality. Essentially, we can say that when the headphones are turned off, external sounds are not completely damped out, but are muffled to a comfortable level, but the sound of the headphones at medium volume is not transmitted outside. Subjectively, the correct result, since SVEN AP-B770MV– firstly, not monitor headphones, in which you could completely renounce outside world, and secondly, on top of everything else, it is also a headset, the wearing of which presupposes at least some interaction with this very surrounding world.
Regarding the sound quality, we have the following. When used as a headset during calls, the sound is slightly muffled and a little late, but not critical. The interlocutor does not complain about the quality of the connection and does not ask the question: “What’s wrong with the voice?” But then in the absence of significant external noise. Outdoors, for example, sometimes the interlocutor has to listen closely, since the microphone is not located on a boom near the mouth, but on a cup near the ear, and it cannot be called narrowly focused.
When listening to audio tracks, a rise in low and mid frequencies and a lack of high frequencies are clearly perceived. With the average ones it’s clear - the voice range falls here, and stereo headphones are also a headset. The rise in the lows is most likely due to the manufacturer’s desire to create a “Wow” effect. Overall, the sound is decent: clean, almost without distortion, quite clear and bright. There is a volume reserve.

To listen to music through a headset on your PC without worrying about unnecessary wires, you need to know how to connect Bluetooth headphones to your computer.
The instructions below are a universal connection method that does not depend on the headset model or the type of PC ( or ).
After connecting the external adapter to the computer, everything will be downloaded from the manufacturer’s official website (Internet required) or, and an active Bluetooth tab will appear in the task manager.

So, the module is operating in normal mode, which allows you to proceed to further connection setup. Follow the instructions:
- Go to the additional tab (arrow " hidden icons"). By default, the basic adapter management icon is located here. Click on the Bluetooth icon and in the context menu that appears, select the option to add a new device.

- Now take your headphones. Press and hold the Power key until the colored power indicator lights up. Thus, you activate the gadget and it can be connected to a computer.
It should be noted that Bluetooth headphones use a color indication system to determine the status of the device. Depending on the gadget model and its settings, a certain color may indicate a different condition. However, most manufacturers use red and blue diodes. They mean active work devices.
- In the Bluetooth device management window on your computer, wait for the name of your headphones to appear. This means that the computer has successfully identified the device. However, it is not connected yet;
- Now you should click on the headphones icon. The system will ask you to enter a passcode to confirm the connection. Type four zeros in the text field. This code is absolutely valid for all wireless headsets;
- Wait for the connection to complete. As a result of a successful connection, the following message will appear next to the headset icon in the PC window: “Paired”.

If you are unable to play audio immediately after pairing your devices, or experience intermittent problems, your system may not be set to play audio.

But the operating frequency ranges and sensitivity are clearly described, as well as a complete list of connection protocols. According to it, we have a modern stereo headset that connects to almost any smartphone, tablet or Bluetooth USB adapter that works with any of the popular profiles today, such as HSP, HFP, A2DP for transmitting a stereo signal and AVRCP for managing tracks. The word Turtle in the name would have suited this headset, but the manufacturer decided to limit itself to an abstract alphanumeric code.

The cups themselves, their holders and all the main parts of the headband are made of plastic, with the exception of the internal sliding mechanism, which is based on a steel plate. The guides on it are also plastic, but there is no need to worry about the reliability of the design - everything is done conscientiously. The headband itself is covered with soft artificial leather with filling for comfortable wearing.
Cups turned to the maximum angle in one direction and the other
The cup holders, although made of plastic, also look quite durable. They allow the cups to deviate at an angle of about 45°, and they themselves additionally rotate in one direction by 15°, and in the other by 90°, which makes it possible to significantly reduce the dimensions of the headset during transportation. The latter circumstance is partially compensated by the fact that the design of the SVEN AP-B770MV does not provide for a folding headband mechanism.
Controls and Interfaces
The cups themselves look quite massive. At the bottom they have three narrow buttons for controlling power, volume and playback. On the left cup there is an additional rather large metal mesh, behind which the microphone is hidden, and on the right there is a MiniUSB port covered with a rubber plug. The latter is intended exclusively for charging the built-in battery.
Ear pads
The ear pads of the SVEN AP-B770MV are not intended to be replaced, although the soft parts can be removed. They almost completely cover the ears when worn and almost do not exert any serious pressure on the head due to the well-chosen density of the filler, covered, like the headband, with soft leatherette. True, it practically does not breathe, but it is pleasant to the touch.
In general, the quality of the headset even surprised us a little. All moving elements move smoothly, without squeaks or jams, the fasteners are installed neatly, and the design of the headset itself indicates its relatively high impact resistance. And only the simple design and not the highest quality of plastic give this device its price tag.
⇡#Working with a headset and sound quality
To establish a connection with a device for the first time, you need to press and hold the power control button on the headset for five seconds. In this case, the headphones will not just turn on, but go into search mode. The headset is connected to the Bluetooth adapter in just one or two seconds, after which the device is ready for use. We tested the headset when connected to an ASUS ZENBOOK UX51 laptop and to Samsung smartphone GALAXY S3. The range of action with line of sight is really close to the stated ten meters. In the apartment, the headset worked perfectly even when the sound source was separated from it by an interroom wall. No distortions were noted.
The headset easily copes with switching between conversation modes and music playback. To accept incoming call, you need to press the power button. Using the same button, you can repeat the last outgoing call or switch the phone and headset to voice dialing mode. The management of played tracks is also traditionally arranged.
Particularly worth noting is the feeling of wearing the SVEN AP-B770MV. The purely subjective comfort you experience from wearing this headset is, as they say, not worth the money. If a person unfamiliar with the device is asked to close his eyes and, putting this headset on his head, is forced to name its estimated cost, then the indicated figure will probably be higher than what it actually is. It's all about the almost perfect geometry of the case, movable cups and well-chosen filling for the ear pads and headband. It’s simple to say, but not every manufacturer can achieve this, and especially not in the price category in which our guest today is positioned. The ear pads almost completely cover the ears and have absolutely no negative impact on them. The same applies to the headband, which precisely adjusts to your head. All this allows you to wear this headset without interruption all day long. At the same time, of course, your ears will sweat a little, but, alas, there is no escape from this drawback.
But the ease of control of the SVEN AP-B770MV, on the contrary, does not stand up to criticism. The narrow long rows of buttons are completely impossible to recognize by touch. As a result, you often press the power button instead of the volume down button or pause the playing track instead of skipping to the next one. And the placement of buttons at the bottom of the cups also cannot be called a good solution - they are very inconvenient to press.
The microphone sensitivity level is quite high. When talking in complete silence, the microphone transmits your voice without the slightest distortion, but as soon as there is a little external noise, your interlocutor already has to listen attentively to your speech - the microphone is broad-directional, that is, it listens not only to you, but also to everything that is happening around. The situation is especially sad with the quality of voice transmission on the street - here external noise can completely drown out your speech.
The noise isolation of the SVEN AP-B770MV is not ideal, but most external noise is successfully damped. Some noise is completely muffled, and some is muffled to a comfortable level. Of course, if you put this headset on your head and plunge into the capital's subway at rush hour, the external noise and din will not disappear as if by magic, but the difference in its volume and saturation with and without headphones is clearly felt. At the same time, the people around you will not listen to your music with you. You don’t have to worry about this, since the headset, when placed on your head, releases almost no sound outside.
As for the sound quality, the headset did not give us any special surprises. The quality of music playback turned out to be quite expected, quite high (within the genre of inexpensive Bluetooth headsets) level. No noise or sound distortion was noted. Otherwise, the picture is well known to many users of inexpensive headphones: enhanced bass and insufficiently clear mids and high frequencies. In addition, the sound did not seem very bright to us. When changing headphones to the wireless analog Philips SHB4000, I got the feeling that some kind of “film” was removed between the ear and the ear pads, which muffled the sound. In general, the SVEN AP-B770MV deserves a solid “good” for its sound quality. This headset is quite suitable for listening to different genres of music on the road or at work. At the same time, in terms of sound quality, it can easily be compared with most wired models costing up to two thousand rubles.
The manufacturer claims that in playback mode the headset should work continuously for 22 hours. In practice, at an average (comfortable) sound volume, the device lasted 18 hours 13 minutes. Less than promised, but the result is still impressive. If you use the headset only occasionally (for example, on the way to work), then you won’t have to charge it for a whole week. Well, for long journeys the SVEN AP-B770MV can generally be called an ideal option. If you remember to charge your device first, then you definitely won’t have to look for an outlet at the airport.

The SVEN AP-B770MV headset is a product that is definitely worth the money spent. For less than three thousand rubles, the user gets a wireless model with sound quality like wired headphones for a little less or even the same amount. The advantages of SVEN AP-B770MV include:
clear, smooth sound without distortion, high quality workmanship, unusual high level wearing comfort, good level of noise insulation, long battery life. But there was a fly in the ointment - the headset has a couple of drawbacks:
extremely inconvenient location of controls; An omnidirectional microphone is not good for conversations. If the above disadvantages do not bother you, then the SVEN AP-B770MV model can be purchased as a headset for every day. In its price category, this is one of the best universal wireless headsets.
