Which satellites have open Russian-language channels. Satellite TV channels

Purchasing expensive equipment for watching satellite channels and subscription fees are not cheap. Program packages include many unnecessary channels for which you have to pay extra. Satellites transmit a number of signals without coding, which can be received without a subscription fee. In addition, since the end of December 2018, a law has been in force in Russia guaranteeing citizens free viewing of 20 federal channels.

Signals transmitted by satellites can be encrypted or clear. Open signals have no restrictions for reception and subsequent viewing, and you do not have to pay for them. They are called FTA (free to air) for short. Coded - require payment, after which the coding is removed for a certain period.

The lists of free channels on satellites change and may move from one to another or be closed for free viewing. You can check the list of open channels on the flysat and lyngsat websites.

To receive a satellite signal you will have to purchase an antenna and a receiver, a very simple one. Setting up the reception will take time and patience.

The most popular satellites transmitting open signals are: Express AM3, Express –A2, Yamal 201 (202), AsiaSat 5, ABS, Express-AM33(AM3396.5E), Intelsat 15 (17, 904), Hotbird, Express-AM2 (MD1). The list of satellites, their placement positions, the list of open channels and other settings are posted on the flysat and lyngsat websites.

For example, Yamal 201 90.0 0 provides channels NTV, STS, TNT, Ren-TV, Chanson, Vesti, Shkolnik for free viewing.

Of the operators providing satellite television services, the largest package of free channels is offered by Tricolor TV and Active TV. Transmission of open signals is carried out from artificial satellites at certain frequencies. Various projects have been developed for the European and eastern parts of Russia to guarantee uninterrupted communications. But the cost of equipment and connection during installation costs no less than 10 thousand rubles.

BISS coded channels

When transmitting a signal from a satellite, some channels are encoded BISS. Sometimes federal and regional channels are encoded. To watch them without a subscription fee, you must first decode them. Detailed instructions for decoding and keys are available on the Internet.

You can also purchase a receiver that supports BISS decoding. You will have to pay for the receiver, but you will not have to pay to watch satellite channels in the future.

Via pirate servers

It is possible to watch encrypted channels for free using pirated programs only on some receiver models. You also need access to the Internet, preferably at high speed. The receiver connects to the Internet and a sharing program is installed on it. The activation key is paid for on a pirate server. The monthly fee is 120 - 130 rubles. The signal will depend on the speed and quality of the Internet.

Such viewing is called free, as you will have to pay monthly for an access key. The use of sharing is criminally punishable in Russia.

Digital set-top box

As an option for receiving free federal channels in digital quality - through a digital set-top box. The signal is received from a television center located nearby. Reception of 30 channels is guaranteed.

To view it for free, you will have to make a one-time investment - the cost of the set-top box is 2 thousand rubles. Any antenna is suitable: outdoor and indoor.

In these difficult times, we strive to protect our finances from excessive waste. Therefore, people began to save as much as possible and look for benefits everywhere. Giving up standard cable TV services and switching to less expensive options is a rational way to save money. Every day satellite television is gaining enormous popularity among Russian users. Ease of setting up channels, high-quality image and sound - all this will captivate subscribers. Separately, it is worth noting the signal coverage power, which allows you to watch TV programs in digital quality even in remote regions of the country.

Satellite signals are sent both open and closed - encrypted channels. Satellite television without a subscription fee is free channels in the public domain. You don't need an access card to view them.

Many different satellites broadcast to the territory of Russia, which have both encrypted and open channels:

ABS 1/2 (“Rainbow”)

Eutelsat-36A/36B (“Tricolor TV”, “NTV-Plus”)

Hot Bird 13B/C/D

Intelstal 15/ Horizons 2 (“Continent TV and Telecard”)

Intelstal 904 (“Active TV”)

Express-AMZ (“East Express”)

Yamal 401/Yamal 300K (“Yamal”)

Of course, satellite TV for free is the dream of every user. Thanks to this opportunity, you can watch interesting programs without a subscription fee, transfer of funds or other investments. The Eutelsat-36A/36B satellite has about 10 free open channels that can be watched using any TV tuner and dish, having previously tuned them to the desired frequency. And the Hot Bird satellite has many uncoded Russian and foreign channels. For example, 4 free Armenian channels, there are also French, Italian, Ukrainian and many others. You can also tune in to the satellites ABS 1/2, Yamal 402 - they all have legal, unencrypted channels, to view which you just need to correctly configure the satellite equipment.

Using the data and transponder frequencies from the tables below, you can configure the reception of these channels on your satellite equipment, but provided that your satellite dish is directed and tuned to the appropriate satellite.

If you have made up your mind and decided to install a satellite dish to watch unencrypted channels, you need to know what is required for satellite TV to work:

Tuner (receiver) – decoder and signal converter. There are for decoded channels (FTA), and for closed ones with a hard drive, emulators, card readers, different slots and all other functions. When choosing a receiver, carefully study its firmware for the availability and consistency of incoming software.

A dish (satellite dish) is a device for receiving a signal.

Convector (head) – repels the transmitted signal from the plate. Where it converts it and sends it to the TV tuner. There is linear and circular polarization of the convector, which depends on the satellite.

A bracket is a metal structure that is used to attach the antenna to the wall. Mounted on 3 – 4 anchors. The antenna leg is selected so that the dish can rotate freely without resting against the wall.

What if the ball deigns to disappear, or all sorts of sanctions from the authorities in law, or another type of lawlessness, suddenly falls on our heads...

So free satellite TV channels will come in handy!

The most common satellite TV option for watching free channels... these are 3 satellites (HotBird 13°, Sirius 5°, Amos 4°, Astra 19°).

Watching channels from these satellites does not require any special cards or subscription fees, but the content of the channels is very inferior to all paid packages.

Here, mostly open Ukrainian channels are broadcast, some Russian channels of international format, and other open channels partially in Russian.

As compensation for the meager content of this option, the fact that these satellites broadcast a huge number of foreign channels, both open and encrypted, on any topic, including those with a Russian soundtrack and channels “for adults.”

Some of the encrypted channels can now be watched “for free” using receivers or CAM modules with a built-in emulator.

Another free viewing option is channels broadcast from eastern satellites (LMI-1 75°, Express AM22 53°, Express AM2 80°).

However, these satellites are not installed on one antenna. Most often, an antenna with a diameter of 0.85 and one converter are installed.

Russian channels are broadcast on eastern satellites.

You can choose any of these satellites as an addition to a 3-satellite system. But there is a version of the rotary system, which includes both Western and Eastern satellites.

However... I’ll tell you a secret that nothing will replace the ball yet. Of course, an official card is even better, but if finances are crying, then alas... there is nothing else left.

You will need

  • – computer or TV;
  • – satellite receiver for TV or DVB card;
  • - satellite antenna;
  • – converter;
  • – antenna cable;
  • – tools for plumbing and electrical work;
  • - Internet access.

Instructions

Choose a satellite with a suitable range of free channels. The range of choices is quite wide. In the central part of Russia, you can view free Russian-language channels from the satellites Yamal 201 and 202, Intelsat 15, ABS-1, Intelsat 904, Express-AM2 and others.

In order to view specific information on these and others, type the name of the satellite in the search bar with the word LyngSat and click on the appropriate line of search results. You will find yourself on the LyngSat.com website page. where all the information on the topic you are interested in is shown in table form.

In the “Provider Name” column you will find the name of the television companies and the channels they broadcast. The “System Encryption” column contains information on channel encryption and signal format. If there is a letter F next to the channel in this column, this means that the channel is not encrypted and can be used. The signal format can be DVB-S or DVB-S2, this information will be required upon purchase.

In the remaining columns you can find information on signal parameters - its frequency, symbol rate (SR), polarization, FEC. The Beam column indicates the name of the transponder beam. Check the coverage map to see if your home is within its coverage area.

To determine the exact direction and elevation angle of the antenna, use the free Satellite Antenna Alignmen program. Install it on your computer and enter the coordinates of the satellite and your home into its forms. In response, the program will display the values of the satellite azimuth and antenna elevation angle.

Install the antenna in a place where it can easily receive the signal from the satellite. Point it at the satellite - using the data obtained in the previous step. Attach the converter to the antenna bracket.

Insert the DVB card into the computer slot and install its software. Connect the card to the converter with an antenna cable. If you are going to watch satellite channels on TV, the antenna cable must be connected to the satellite receiver. Connect the receiver's output to the corresponding connector on the TV.

To accurately orient the antenna to the satellite transponder, use a satellite finder. Usually they are connected to the connector between the converter and the antenna cable. The exact procedure for operating the device is described in the instructions for it. Guided by the satellite finder's readings, orient the antenna towards the satellite and secure it in that position.

As a result of this work, a video image from the satellite should appear on the TV screen. To watch TV channels on your computer, you need to install one of the programs for watching satellite television on it, in particular, the most popular ProgDvb. After installation, open the program and scan the satellite with it. The program will place the detected channels in its playlist, available for viewing by the user.
