Mi band 2 firmware version 1.0 1.50. Firmware for mi band - where to download and how to install

A detailed review of the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 bracelet from the CAFAGO website, in which I will show how to set up call notifications with the caller’s name displayed in Cyrillic on IOS phones, go through the Mi Fit application and compare the bracelet’s heart rate monitor readings with the chest heart rate sensor.

Hi all. Finally, this long-awaited package has arrived to me, containing the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 fitness bracelet.

The bracelet was bought on sale on the CAFAGO website for only 16 bucks

The site is not very well known,

but accepts payment via Paypal, so if something happens there will be no problems

Also in the Paypal payment appears the name of another store - TOMTOP, which is much more famous. So, in essence, CAFAGO is his daughter. This is such a strange Chinese marketing.
The bracelet was sent by Laos post, without a tracking number (although CAFAGO promised to send with a track, apparently they decided to save money) and it took 21 days to reach me.
The packaging is so-so, but the box was not damaged at all during the journey.

Its dimensions are 97*97*31 mm and weight 95 grams

It should be said right away that there are two versions of the bracelet - international and Chinese. The differences are minor - the international version has bluetooth 4.2 LE, while the Chinese version has 4.0 LE.

This is clearly written on the box

Photo of the box that came to me. Bluetooth 4.0LE

The abbreviation LE stands for Low Energy, that is, low energy consumption.
It seems like version 4.2 is more energy efficient, but I couldn’t find any real evidence that a bracelet with bluetooth version 4.2 works longer. The screen color is also slightly different.

The international version is colder, the Chinese version is warmer

Also an absolutely uncritical difference. It also gives out the Chinese version

complete absence of inscriptions on the back of the bracelet

In my opinion, there is no point in chasing the international version. Take the one that is cheaper. Keep in mind - there are fake bracelets.
Read reviews carefully before purchasing and buy only from trusted places. It’s easy to check for originality - if the bracelet synchronizes with the original Mi Fit application, then it’s not fake.

Also, before purchasing, make sure that your smartphone meets the minimum requirements:
To work with the bracelet you need support for Bluetooth 4.0 LE and
- Android: 4.4 and higher
- iOS: 7.0 and higher (iPhone 4S and newer)
- BlackBerry OS: 10 and higher
- Windows Phone: 8.1 and higher (No official program. Works via Bind Mi Band)

So, let's now open the box and look at its contents.

Traditionally for Xiaomi, it is designed simply and ascetically.
Nothing extra. Modest and tasteful.
Includes: capsule itself, silicone bracelet, charging cable and waste paper.

Cable 14 cm long with USB connector.

You can connect it to the USB port of our laptop or to any charger. The bracelet itself limits the current it needs for charging (about 50 mA), but for some reason the manufacturer does not recommend using chargers with an output current of more than 1 A.

You can see the polarity of the contacts in the picture

It is also worth noting that this cable is not compatible with older versions of the bracelet (1 and 1s), so to charge Mi Band 2 you need to use only the cable included in the kit or a similar one, which you can easily buy on Ali.

The hand strap is made of medical silicone. The strap length is 235 mm with adjustment from 155 to 210 mm;

The strap from the second version of the Mi Band is also not compatible with the previous generation of bracelets, because it has an improved design (a silicone side that prevents the capsule from falling out, which is now, by the way, inserted from the inside (from the side of the hand) and will not fall out accidentally).

Fastens with a mushroom clip.

Spare straps can also be purchased on Ali or other sites; they often have sales and can be snatched up for half a buck.

Well, now the most important thing is the capsule itself.

Its body is made of polycarbonate. It is sealed, protected from water and dust according to the IP67 standard.
But be sure to remove the bracelet when visiting the sauna/bathhouse, as high temperatures will damage the battery. For the same reason, you should not leave it in direct sunlight (on the beach or by the pool).
On the front panel there is an OLED display with an oleophobic coating with a diagonal of 0.42 inches. They say that glass collects scratches very strongly. You can stick a protective film - here everyone decides for themselves. Below that is an anodized, ultra-thin 0.05mm (five hundredths of a millimeter) button that turns on the screen and toggles the data displayed.

The bracelet can show the time (cannot be turned off), the number of steps, distance traveled, calories burned, heart rate and remaining battery power. The button is also used to turn off the vibration of the bracelet when there is a call or an alarm goes off. All settings are made through the native Mi Fit application.

Inside the capsule there is an energy-efficient accelerometer, which has a new upgraded pedometer and sleep monitoring algorithm (the version of the algorithm is updated when the bracelet is firmware).

Li-Pol battery 70 mAh. This is enough for about 20 days.
The bracelet also has its own memory, which accumulates statistics. When synchronized, it is uploaded to the smartphone. The memory is enough for 40 days. Mi Band is completely autonomous, it counts steps and sleep phases. A smartphone is only needed to view detailed statistics and settings. A permanent connection is only needed for call notifications and unlocking (for Android devices)

The total weight of the capsule with strap is 19 grams.

On the reverse side there is an optical heart rate sensor (with green LEDs), which works on the PPG principle (Photoplethysmogram).

This pulse measurement technology is based on the effect that when the heart beats in the blood vessels, the blood flow periodically changes and, accordingly, the amount of light absorbed. The technology is completely safe. It's the same as shining a flashlight into your hand.

Unfortunately, the bracelet came to me discharged, so before continuing, we put it on charge.
To measure the charging current in practice, we use a USB tester.

Unfortunately, the KEWEISI USB tester was unable to register such a small current, so we take another tester from JUWEI. As you can see, the charging current is 40 mA. Let's leave the bracelet to charge until it's full, and at the same time measure how much energy will be poured into it.

After an hour and a half, the charging current dropped first to 20 mA, and after a minute, charging stopped completely. The bracelet has received 67 mAh of energy and is now fully charged.

To set up the bracelet and synchronize it, we need the Mi Fit application. If you don't have it, then download it from the App Store.

Let's launch it and

After this, you must either create your own MI account (if you don’t have one) by entering your email.
To do this, click “Create Mi account” and

follow the instructions.

After registration, you will receive a confirmation email in which you just need to click on the orange button.

All. MI account has been created. Using his data, log in to the application and again

we agree with all requests

We allow the application to enter data into the Health program.

Upload an avatar and enter personal data. They are needed to correctly calculate the distance traveled and calories burned. So there is no point in cheating).

We enter the daily number of steps, upon reaching which the bracelet will vibrate joyfully (customizable function).

.
All. Now we have the main screen in front of us and the next step is to pair the bracelet with the phone. It is worth noting that the Mi Fit application also works with other products from Xiaomi, for example, Mi Scale bathroom scales, smart watches and even sneakers.

At this stage you need to stop and say a few words about the firmware. The bracelet contains two parts of software: the firmware itself and the pedometer and sleep monitoring algorithm.
At the moment, the latest version of the Firmware is 1.0.1.53, the Algorithm is 1.1.06.
In order for the bracelet to correctly display the name of the caller upon incoming output, you need to CORRECTLY update its firmware and additional fonts. Unfortunately, for some reason this can only be done by pretending to be Chinese (and downloading Chinese firmware). To do this, you need to temporarily switch your phone to Chinese.

There are very detailed instructions on the 4pda website

1. If Chinese was previously installed, remove it from “preferred language order”
2. If Mi Fit was previously installed, untie the bracelet in it, untie the pair in Bluetooth, remove Mi Fit
3. Reboot your phone
4. Download Mi Fit again from the AppStore and install
5. Launch Mi Fit, log in, synchronize with the bracelet, create a Bluetooth pair, place the bracelet next to the phone as close as possible
6. The firmware must be updated (for the English version), check that everything works, there is synchronization
7. Check and disable all notifications in Mi Fit (calls, SMS, applications, notifications, alarms)
8. Close Mi Fit (so it doesn’t hang in the background)
9. Add Chinese simplified language in the language settings, in the priority of languages it should come first, then English, then Russian, place the bracelet next to the phone as close as possible
10. Launch Mi Fit (in Chinese), the update should start, if it doesn’t work, try again, if it doesn’t help, turn off/on Bluetooth (do not break the pair)
11. If the update is interrupted (and this happens in most cases), close Mi Fit, remove it from the background
12. Without changing the Chinese language in the Bluetooth settings, break the pairing with the bracelet (forget the device), then turn off and on the Bluetooth, put the bracelet next to the phone as close as possible
13. Launch Mi Fit, synchronize, the update should start in Chinese and complete successfully (the firmware version will not change, only additional fonts will be loaded)
14. In the Iphone settings, return the Russian language back, in the priority of languages, Russian should be in first place, English in second place, Chinese can be deleted everywhere
15. Launch Mi Fit, sync, turn on the necessary notifications
16. Check that now the caller's name should be displayed in Russian letters

I'll start right away with point 5, since I have never had either the Chinese language or the Mi Fit application on my phone.
Select the bracelet and click accept.

The application starts looking for a bracelet that is lying quietly in the immediate vicinity of the phone.

At some point it will find him

At this moment, you need to quickly press the button on the bracelet to confirm pairing.
If you managed to do this, then the pairing was successful and you will be taken to the main screen of the Mi Fit application

At this stage, you shouldn’t go through the menu and start studying everything. The firmware needs to be updated. This all happens automatically. Wait a couple of minutes. When it downloads you will see:

At this moment, the following indication on the screen is lit on the bracelet:

We wait for the update to complete (if an error occurs, try again).
Now we have the latest firmware on the bracelet... But... That's not all. In order to download additional fonts with Cyrillic support, you need to temporarily switch the phone to Chinese (what an irony) and update the bracelet. Close the Mi Fit application completely.

In the phone settings (Settings - General - Language and region - add language) enable Chinese simplified.

We observe the correct order of languages.

Now we re-launch the Mi Fit application (already in Chinese). Judging by the manual, there should be another firmware update here. But it didn’t work for me until I went into the bracelet notification settings

After this, the bracelet began to update.

After that, we return the Russian language in the phone settings and try to call ourselves.

We enter the subscriber into the address book and repeat.

As you can see, everything works fine - the name is displayed. It is worth noting that a maximum of 9 characters will be displayed, not counting spaces. This is the limitation.

Let's look at all the settings that the Mi Fit application on iOS provides us. Unfortunately, its Russification leaves much to be desired...
The application has three tabs. Status, Activity and Profile.
In the Status tab, you can see the current progress of your activity, force synchronization by pulling the screen down, open information about the Mi Band (see the description of the icons you see on the bracelet), check data on heart rate, weight (you can enter it manually or using xiaomi scale scales. There are profiles for different people), and also find out the progress towards the goal (for example, 8000 steps per day, as recommended by WHO).

Status tab

The Activity tab is something like a fitness tracker, similar to such popular applications as Strava, RunKeeper and others.

Activity tab

And the last tab is Profile. Allows you to customize the bracelet itself (discussed below), set an activity goal (for example, 8000 steps per day), desired weight, share this information with friends using a QR code, add accounts of some social networks. networks, set behavior tags (as I understand it, standards of behavior so that the bracelet can more accurately recognize activity), set up units of measurement, leave feedback to the developers and look at the About section (About in the original), where you can find the version of the application and algorithm.

Profile tab - general application settings

If you select your bracelet on this tab in the My Devices section, then we get directly into the settings of the bracelet itself. Here you can set up notifications about an incoming call, set an alarm (can be set by day of the week. There are 10 alarms in total, which work independently of phone alarms. That is, even if the phone sits down, the bracelet will vibrate), set up notifications from applications, about inactivity, SMS, mail , achieving your goal and turning on do not disturb mode.
You can make sure that with a short press the triggered alarm is postponed for 10 minutes, and turned off completely only by long pressing the button on the bracelet.
You can also set the visibility mode of the bracelet (I don’t know why this is necessary, it’s always invisible for me and everything works), select the hand on which you wear the bracelet, select data to display on the screen (everything except time can be turned off), select the format time (convenient when the screen has the date and day of the week), and also activate the gesture of raising your hand to turn on the screen and switch the displayed data. You can also enable heart rate tracking at night while you sleep, so you can analyze it in the morning. A cool feature, but it causes increased battery consumption (since it turns on periodically to measure heart rate during sleep).
At the very bottom you can see the bracelet's firmware version, its Bluetooth address (MAC address) and unlink the bracelet from the application. It’s worth saying more about this. Each bracelet is associated with your MI account and the bracelet cannot be linked to a new account without first unlinking it from the old one. So if suddenly your bracelet is stolen, do not unlink it from your account. Don't make life easier for thieves.

Profile tab - My devices

Just for fun, let’s compare the heart rate readings obtained from the bracelet with the readings from the chest heart rate monitor, which I also wrote a review of once. Since the bracelet itself cannot constantly measure heart rate (heart rate), we will force it to do this through the Mi Fit application.

We put on the bracelet above the wrist, as the manufacturer advises

To take heart rate readings from the bib, launch the PulseMe program.

In a calm state, the readings are almost the same

After doing several dozen squats, the heart rate readings on the bib clearly increase, while the Mi Band 2 is still slow.

And only after 5-10 seconds does Mi Band 2 begin to display correctly.

Thus, the bracelet readings coincide with the readings of the chest heart rate monitor, but we must take into account the delay in pulse measurement that the Mi Band 2 has. In principle, for cardio training, when the load grows slowly or constantly and the heart rate also changes smoothly, the accuracy and speed of the Mi Band 2 is enough .

In order to constantly monitor your heart rate in other programs, and not just in Mi Fit, you can use the Mi HR continuous heart rate monitoring program. The functionality is paid. Costs 299 rubles. There is a 10 minute free test.
But, to be honest, it didn’t work for me (when I tried to turn on heart rate measurement, the LEDs didn’t even light up). Also, for a fee, the program allows you to downgrade the bracelet firmware. I didn’t buy the paid version, I don’t know if it works. Write if you have tried it.

UPDATE! The MI HR program works. Continuous heart rate measurement works. And the pulse is visible in third-party programs, such as RunKeeper.

For Android users, the bracelet is more functional and allows you to implement functions such as unlocking your phone without entering a password.

This works especially cool on Xiaomi phones (on MIUI)

On MIUI:
When you turn on the screen and bring the bracelet to the phone, the secure lock is disabled
If the bracelet is not nearby (for example, it was given to someone): you will have to unlock it with a graphic key PIN code/password
On other firmwares:
If the bracelet is connected, there will be no secure lock, only the slider will remain
If the connection with the bracelet is lost (distance over 10 meters), the screen lock will return

Also on Android there is a wonderful application Mi Band 2 Func Button, which allows you to configure various functions for single, double and triple pressing. And also the gesture of turning the brush.

Features of Mi Band 2 Func Button

* Switch music (Forward/Back/Pause/Play) in most famous players.
* Timer (Start/Stop) for a specified time. You can set intermediate vibration at a specified interval.
* Sending commands to Tasker
* Reset, accept and mute an incoming call.
* Start vibration on your phone.
* Start an alarm sound on your phone.
* Volume adjustment.
For each type of press, you can configure a feedback response in the form of a specified vibration.

Unfortunately, I don't have an Android smartphone. If you have and managed to configure this functionality, write in the comments. Sending commands to Tasker opens up a ton of creativity. Write how you use this feature. Interesting.

That's all. I hope you liked my review and found it useful. If so, don't forget to upvote. It took a lot of time.

I'm planning to buy +34 Add to favorites I liked the review +33 +80

Updating the firmware on the Xiaomi Mi Band 2 is most effective for situations in which the gadget, for unknown reasons, deteriorates its performance, and also, if necessary, install a newer and supported version of the system, for example, through a computer. As a result, it is ensured:

  • Wider functionality;
  • Improved interaction with the interface;
  • Correction of shortcomings of the previous modification.

Regarding the innovations in the second generation Mi Band, the first thing that stands out is the ability to manually set the joint date and time, which was impossible before the update. The context describes the new Gadgetbridge program instead of the basic Mi Fit, which will be discussed further. To install new software, you need to find the corresponding APK file on a computer that has Internet access. Therefore, the project website further provides links to downloading already prepared data.

Since the APK file is a ZIP archive, any specialized program can be used to open it. There are several contained firmwares available, since they are designed for different versions of gadgets. The files required for installation are named Mili_pro.fw (188 KB) and Mili_pro_53.fw (167 KB). It should be noted that when using a build lower than 1.0.0.53 in Mi Band 2, Mili_pro_53.fw is loaded first, after which the remaining file is downloaded, and the name cannot be changed.

Update process

The subsequent algorithm of actions in such versions of the operating system is simple:

  1. First of all, you should install the Gadgetbridge program (3.3 MB), followed by configuration and synchronization with the tracker;
  2. Using the application manager, move the selected file to the device and click on it to launch;
  3. After logging into the application, an alert will be displayed in English, which consists of a notification about the use of an untested modification. You should skip the message and use the “Install” command located at the bottom;
  4. Wait for the system reinstallation to complete; it is not advisable to perform any processes on the device;
  5. Upon completion of the download, updating the necessary bracelet file, a restart will follow, and then the Gadgetbridge program will connect again.

After completing the operation, using a computer or an internal program, you can perform updates to any assembly, taking into account that Mili_pro_53.fw should be paramount if the version used is lower than 1.0.0.53. Otherwise, the performance of the device will be accompanied by problems in which the help of specialists will be needed with appropriate explanations of the details of the manipulations performed before problems arise.

Features of working with Mi Fit

The most popular update method is to use the official Mi Fit program created by the manufacturer Xiaomi. Since all current smartphones provide mobile data, installing Mi Fit is hassle-free. Special instructions, as in the case of using third-party services, are not useful, since the file enters the device system and is opened for downloading. If you encounter difficulties during downloading, you should probably remove the previous modification, after which an update will follow.

Gadget capabilities after flashing:

  • Fully Russian-language interface;
  • Activation and display of information about bracelet contacts;
  • Enable messages when connection is lost;
  • Presence of Russian language support for the assistant;
  • Correct functionality of Google maps;
  • Ability to use new programs;
  • Applying twenty alerts instead of five;
  • Call delay if desired in quick access;
  • Updated service labels for the tracker;
  • Ability to connect the attribute with Google Fit and more;
  • Deactivation of foreign programs;
  • Using Telegram statistics.

After installing the firmware, the user will receive the following list of new features for the bracelet:

  • Eliminates current bugs if an update occurs to a later version;
  • Translates the gadget interface into Russian and allows you to completely disconnect from Chinese services;
  • Display date in addition to time;
  • Activation of the voice assistant in Russian;
  • Increasing the number of received notifications to 20;
  • Ability to synchronize with Google Fit applications, as well as WeChat and much more.

To update the software version, you need a smartphone with the ability to synchronize via the Bluetooth 4.0 interface and, in fact, the Mi Band 2 itself. The firmware for the smart bracelet is freely available on numerous Internet resources dedicated to the fitness tracker. For future manipulations, the APK files Mili_pro_53.fw and Mili_pro.fw are required. If the firmware version of your gadget is below 1.0.0.53, then, first of all, you should flash the device using the Mili_pro_53.fw file, then switch to a clean pro version. Otherwise, there is a risk of problems with the operation of the smart bracelet.

The search and inclusion of the desired file occurs through a regular file manager with pre-installation of a program for synchronizing the smartphone with the bracelet.

Firmware using Notify Fitness

Access to the extended list of bracelet capabilities is carried out in the following sequence: download the firmware file from the official website, then, using the application functionality, perform synchronization and further flashing.

The most difficult moment is the problem of docking a smartphone with a fitness bracelet. The issue is resolved by installing additional software that determines the MAC address of the gadget: iBeaconDetector, BLE Scanner and their analogs.

The flashing mode has only recently left beta testing and is available in the “Miscellaneous” category (Figure 1). The file is opened through any convenient file manager.

Firmware update via Gadgetbridge app

In case Notify Fitness and official Mi Fit do not suit you for any reason, the Gadgetbridge app will be an excellent alternative to the available options. The software supports correct operation with both Android-based smartphones and iPhones and their iOS systems.

The Mi Band 2 update follows a similar path:

  • APK files are downloaded;
  • Gadgetbridge is installed, then the gadget is synchronized with the smartphone;
  • After this, you should open the file transferred to your smartphone. If you try to open an unknown file, the software will respond with a warning about the possible danger of working with unlicensed software. Having started the installation, bypassing the notification, we will wait for it to complete.
  • After a successful update, the smart bracelet is rebooted and Gangetbridge is reconnected to it.

The completion of the update will be reflected in the status bar (status curtain) with the following notifications shown in Figure 2.

With the firmware update and the available application, the functionality for working with numerous built-in systems expands for the user: calculating the heart rate familiar to us from the “good old” Mi Band 1s Pulse bracelet, calculating the quantity and quality of sleep, etc.

Firmware with Mi Fit application

Mi Fit is the official application through which basic interactions with the smart bracelet should take place. In fact, the user receives extremely capricious software, which, in case of loss of the smartphone, deletion of the application, or firmware update, refuses to “cooperate” with the fitness tracker, citing the impossibility of reconnecting while the device is “paired” with another smartphone.

An important nuance is the need to create an account with a phone number, after which an SMS notification with a security code will be sent to the device to complete the registration procedure.

Working with the application is similar to the previous options: installing the software, setting up synchronization and further downloading and opening the APK file.

Then a background installation occurs, followed by a restart of the bracelet and reconnection of the watch to the smartphone. After that, you have at your disposal a completely new expanded range of features for your fitness tracker.

Restoring the Mi Band

A common problem when working with a fitness tracker is the situation when the Mi Band 2 does not connect to the smartphone. The key to the error lies in two sources:

  • Either you are faced with a manufacturing defect and the bracelet must be returned;
  • Or, the device was incorrectly disconnected from the previous smartphone. Reinstalling the firmware and deleting the Mi Fit application also results in the inability to use the fitness tracker profile in the future.

To fully use the gadget, it is recommended to install third-party software. The previously mentioned Notify Fitness is an excellent replacement for the proprietary Mi Fit application, offering a wide range of functionality, from the described flashing of Mi Band 2, to working with reminders, alarm clocks, reactions to incoming notifications, and more.

An important point is the irreconcilable “hostility” of the Notify & Fitness for Mi Band 2 applications and the official Mi Fit. In order to bypass possible errors, freezes and other incidents, it is recommended to leave only the required Notify Fitness and delete the inoperative Mi Fit.

A successful start will be facilitated by preliminary scanning and determining the MAC address of the bracelet through the BLE Scanner application. Then, after synchronizing via Bluetooth 4.0, the user will receive a restored and ready-to-use fitness tracker.

How to find out the firmware version of Mi Band 2

You can check the current firmware version of your bracelet using any application that can synchronize between your smartphone and Mi Band. So, for example, the Gadgetbridge in question, when connected, is able to show not only the firmware version, but also the current hardware version.

Similarly, you can get to the firmware version through the Mi Fit application, select the “Profile” category, then go to the “Devices” block, where you will need to select your fitness tracker and move to the very bottom of the menu, where the information you are interested in will be displayed .

Hi all. Alexander Glebov is in touch with you. In my next article, I tell you how to set up a xiaomi mi band 1s pulse fitness bracelet, namely how to set up a smart alarm clock. As you know, starting from version Mi Fit 2.X.X.X, the developers turned off the smart alarm function...

Fitness bracelet xiaomi mi band 1s pulse - setting up a smart alarm clock step by step

I’ll briefly tell you what we will actually do. I honestly admit that all the information was taken from the website 4pda.ru, however, it is not structured there. First of all, we need to remove the current version of Mi Fit and Mi Band Notify & Fitness if it is installed. Next, we flash the necessary firmware for the xiaomi mi band 1s pulse fitness bracelet, and then install the required version of the Mi Fit application. And now all this is in more detail.

  1. We remove the Mi Fit and Mi Band Notify & Fitness applications.
  2. Next, download the GadjetBridge program version 0.9.4 to your phone - from here. Using it we will flash xiaomi mi band 1s pulse. The file will be named nodomain.freeyourgadget.gadgetbridge_48.apk.
  3. Install GadjetBridge on your phone (don’t forget to enable installation from unknown sources).
  4. Next, we need to download the Mi Fit 1.8.711 application to your computer. From it we will extract the firmware we need for the fitness bracelet. You can download MiFit1.8.711MS.apk.
  5. Open Mi Fit 1.8.711 using winrar or another archiver, go to the assets folder and extract the Mili_hr.fw file from it. Mili_hr.fw- this is the firmware file for Mi Band 1s, if you have a different bracelet, then you need to extract another file - Mili.fw - for a bracelet with colored diodes; Mili_1a.fw - 1A; Mili_hr.fw - 1S. Since I have a Mi Band 1s Puls, I extracted Mili_hr.fw, for your convenience I posted the already extracted file at this link. Send the firmware file to your phone.
  6. Launch GadjetBridge from the notification area. (finger across the screen from top to bottom =))).
  7. In the window that appears, click the three vertical dots in the upper right corner (1), and select “Connect to a new device” (2). (don’t forget to turn on bluetooth) (don’t pay attention if your device is on the main screen).
  8. The search for a new device will start, and after a while it will find your xiaomi mi band 1s fitness bracelet. Click on it with your finger, the settings will open, exit the settings. The main screen will show the status "connected".
  9. After connecting, in any andorid explorer, go to our firmware file Mili_hr.fw (done in step 5), and click on it.
  10. The Gadgetbridge app will open with a warning that the firmware has not been tested and that it is not recommended to install it. But we know all this very well, and we follow these instructions at our own peril and risk. Click "install".
  11. The process of flashing the bracelet will begin. The process is not fast and can take up to 10 minutes. The progress of the firmware can be seen in the notification shade.
  12. After a successful update, the notification shade will display the message “Firmware installation complete”, and the bracelet will unhook from Gadgetbridge - “no connection”. We connect, click on the i in the circle and check that the versions are the same as in the picture.
  13. After checking the version, unlink xiaomi mi band 1s from Gadgetbridge. Long click on your device, a menu will appear, in it select “Disconnect”. And exit Gadgetbridge (three dots in the upper corner, exit).
  14. Now we download the most adequate version of Mi Fit, namely MiFit1.7.521MS++. We install. The link I have is a version without voice - MiFit1.7.521MS++_iqubik_No_Voice_RUN.apk.
  15. After installation, launch Mi Fit (uncheck “Quality Enhancement Program” and click OK, log into your xiaomi account), and link your xiaomi mi band 1s.
  16. Just in case, we check the firmware versions of the bracelet in the Mi Fit application. Firmware version - 4.15.12.10. Heart Rate version is 1.3.74.64.
  17. To more accurately determine sleep phases, turn on heart rate monitoring (highlighted in the picture above).
  18. We enable the smart alarm clock in the alarm settings. Function: early awakening.
  19. At this point, the settings for the smart alarm clock are completed, but in order not to lose them, you must follow the recommendations.

    Recommendations for using the xiaomi mi band 1s pulse smart alarm clock

  • Never update the Mi Fit app;
  • never update the firmware of xiaomi mi band 1s;
  • wear the xiaomi mi band 1s pulse fitness bracelet on your non-dominant hand;
  • It is better not to go to the bathhouse or bath with him.

Like that. Let me clarify once again, if the play market offers to update Mi Fit, refuse. If, when launching the Mi Fit application, it wants to update or update the bracelet firmware, refuse. These points are very important.

Conclusion

I would like to express my gratitude to the user SeteVoi67 with his fasting on 4pda, and the user airflava with his fasting on 4pda. My instructions are based on their messages. Simply expanded with pictures and a more detailed description of each step.

On a personal note, I hope you liked the article and I helped you set up the xiaomi mi band 1s smart alarm clock. If you have any questions, comments, etc. leave it in the comments. Your opinion is very important to me, I want to provide quality content. Let's like, upvote and subscribe to my blog. All the best.
