Let's modernize the gasket a little; to do this, remove the factory gasket and glue a piece of felt-type fabric in its place. To glue the fabric, use cyacrine glue (for example Super Moment). Next, let's move on to upgrading the spring. During operation, the spring loses some of its elasticity, which also affects the accuracy of the electromagnet. The force of the spring can be increased as follows. We stretch the existing spring a little and fold it in half. In this simple way, it was possible not only to return the spring to its former force, but also to strengthen it slightly. Attention!!! If the spring is not stretched a little before folding, then the electromagnet coil may not have enough power to overcome its resistance, which will also lead to a malfunction of the electromagnet.

After carrying out all the above manipulations, we install the solenoid in place and assemble the device.

The toner sensor error is typical for all devices built on the same platform as the Samsung CLX-2160. These devices include the following models: Samsung CLX-3160 / CLP-300 / Xerox Phaser 6110 / 6110MFP.
