In my case, these combinations worked and the laptop confirmed the transition to the BIOS, but still went to the moment Windows boot or contact a DELL Diagnostic Wizard.

Entering BIOS through the Windows 8 interface

This method is used if you have installed Windows 8 in UEFI boot mode.

To enter the BIOS this way:

Entering BIOS by battery level

The third way to enter the BIOS of the Dell Inspiron 7737 is to discharge the laptop battery to less than 10%, this method takes time, but to speed up you can run the built-in diagnostics of the laptop and connect some external devices such as flash drives, or load any of the LiveCDs.

Once the laptop's charge drops below 10% (in my case at 3% charge), turn off the laptop and turn it on again.

This method helped me, I entered the BIOS, turned on UEFI mode and was able to install Windows 8.

But the problem with entering the BIOS remained the same; the laptop confirmed pressing the F2 key, but it skipped entering the BIOS or the boot menu.

Updating the BIOS version

The fourth way to enter the BIOS of the Dell Inspiron 7737 is to update the BIOS to latest version.

In this laptop model, this can only be done from the installed operating system, since the BIOS file is released by Dell only as a Windows .EXE file.

In my case, the login problem lay precisely in incorrect BIOS, after the update, the F2 and F12 buttons worked correctly.
