Children grow up incredibly quickly, and we can seriously talk about first independence when a child goes to the playground for the first time without being accompanied by his parents. But at the same time, the heart does not remain calm, and worries about where he went, who he spoke to, and whether he left the agreed territory still do not disappear.

I encountered the situation of my first independent walks this summer, when my son turned 8 years old. The problem of the multi-block neighborhood in which we live is the inability to see playgrounds from the window. In order to somehow reduce the degree of my anxiety, it was decided to buy my first phone.

Everything would be fine, but only one day, having decided to go out and see what and with whom my son was playing, a gang of boys was instantly declassified - instead of kicking a ball in the yard, like all normal children, they were playing Mine Craft - like all normal, but modern children. Among the additional disadvantages, a little later there appeared an item with cracked screen and another one with a neighbor’s child’s brand new smartphone falling out of his pocket and being lost.

Actually, it was these buttons that I didn’t like: the child began to get confused - why can you call with the first and second buttons, why is there SOS then, and why can you suddenly answer the call with the shutdown button.

But this model is not afraid of moisture, and therefore even after rain nothing will happen to it.

I refused to buy this model for only two reasons - the screen was too large for my eight-year-old son’s hand, and the screen itself, although color, was not touch-sensitive. And for that age it’s no longer comme il faut.
