How to unlock your phone if you forgot the fart code. PUK and PIN codes of MTS

Puk Tele2 code is 8 digits security code SIM cards. In this article I will tell you about 5 ways to restore it for free.

Pin code, Puk code... when I first saw these names, it was funny to me at first :) In fact, PUK is read as PAC. As you understand, this article is about how to restore puk code. Previously, I already wrote an article about what it is. To begin with, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with it.

The PAK code differs from the PIN code in a number of ways:

  • The length of the pack code is 8 digits, and the pin is only 4;
  • The pin code can be changed, but the pack cannot be changed, only through ;
  • The pin code is known only to you (unless, of course, you told it to someone), the pack code can be called at the help desk.
  • If you make a mistake 3 times when entering the PIN code, only the PIN code is blocked, but if you make a mistake 10 times when entering the Pak code, the SIM card is blocked.

In general, a PIN code is needed to protect a SIM card from access by third parties, and a PACK code is needed to protect a SIM card from access by third parties who do not know the PIN code.

Is it possible to disable Tele2 PUK code request?

No, you cannot disable the Pak code request, but you can disable the PIN code request, then the Pak code will never be requested. In order to disable the PIN code on the iPhone, you will need to enter the phone settings, go to the “Phone” section, SIM-PIN.

For devices based on Android way slightly different: Settings - Location and security - Set up blocking.

If you have disabled the PIN code request, but when you turn on the phone the password is still requested, then the phone has protection installed on the phone itself. Yes, device manufacturers provide their phones with such a function; you can disable the security code request through the device menu in the same way as disabling the PIN code.

How to recover Tele2 PUK code?

There are several ways:

  1. Contact by phone.
  2. Find a plastic wrapper for the SIM card or a box for it, usually the PAK code is written on them. Standard pin Tele2 code is 0000 (four zeros).
  3. View the contract, if, of course, it has been preserved, which is unlikely :).
  4. Come to the Tele2 communication salon.
  5. You can also try, but at the date of publication of this material there is no such option (I checked it myself). However, I know that MTS can view the PAK code via Personal Area, maybe Tele2 will implement this opportunity.

There are no other ways to restore the pack code. Don’t even try to pick it up - it’s useless, the 8-digit code is 10,000,000 possible combinations, and you only have 10 attempts. If you block the PAK code, then such a SIM card must only be replaced, which will be paid, although in your article about

As a rule, at the moment when a new Tele2 starter package is purchased, a person is wary of all the information that the operator provides him. But over time, such vigilance becomes somewhat dull and, as a result, lost documents containing the standard PIN code and PUK code for the SIM card. But if the first set of numbers can be restored using the Puk code, many people don’t know how to unlock a Tele2 SIM card if you don’t know the Puk code.

What to do if you forgot the Tele2 code?

PUK is an 8-digit security code that is assigned to each SIM card. It has a number of differences from Pin:

  • the length is 8 digits, and the last one has 4;
  • if the Pin can be changed at will, and the number of times is not limited, then the PUK cannot be changed;
  • The fart is known to the operator cellular communications, and the second security PIN code is only for you if its standard combination has been changed.

As many people probably know, the PIN code is blocked after several unsuccessful attempts to enter it. Therefore, if it changes frequently, in order to avoid it, you need to write it down.

So, if the first set of numbers was blocked during use, the SIM card asks for a Pak code. To get it, you need to use one of the following methods:

  • contact the nearest Tele2 customer service center;
  • call to restore access.

How to restore Tele2 PUK code through the service center?

In order to unlock the personal security data of a SIM card, you need to contact any branch cellular company Tele 2. In order for the process to go quickly and without complications, you need to carefully prepare for it. Under what conditions can you quickly unlock a SIM card:

  • possible only in the presence of the owner of the number. If for some reason he cannot come to the office, the manipulation can only be carried out with a power of attorney;
  • the owner of a SIM card that has been blocked must provide identification documents.

If the owner of the SIM card is one person, and the registration was made in the name of another, the presence of both is required.

Such security measures are necessary to protect subscribers’ personal data as much as possible.

How to unlock a SIM card at the support service?

Many subscribers do not know how to unlock a Tele2 SIM card at home. In fact, this procedure is quite easy and does not require significant effort from the subscriber.

To unlock a SIM card, just call Tele2 support at 611 . If necessary, you can call the company’s local city number; you need to find it on the official website in the “Support Contacts” section.

To contact the operator directly, you must listen to all voice menu, after which you will be transferred to a company employee. The operator will ask you to provide some data that is necessary for employees to unlock the SIM card:

Also, at the operator’s discretion, other questions may be asked that will help ensure the company representative that the restoration is carried out by the owner of the SIM card, and not by an attacker.

The cellular communication company Tele2 has made the number restoration procedure this way for many reasons. Firstly, if the card is stolen or lost, attackers will not be able to restore access to it, since it will be automatically blocked after several unsuccessful attempts to enter the PIN. Secondly, to unblock PUK, you will either need the presence of the owner of the number with identification documents, or you will need to dictate them to the cellular operator. We'll talk about that in another article.

Other ways to unlock a SIM card

First of all, the surest way to find out your PUK code is to look at it on the plastic card or box that was provided with starter pack. The standard PIN code must be indicated there, as well as an eight-digit security set of numbers.

Currently, Tele2 does not provide other options to unlock access to a SIM card.

However, it is possible that in the near future this can be done through the “Personal Account”. At the same time, such transfer of data to the owner will significantly reduce the level of security.

How to prevent the security code recovery procedure

In order not to wonder how to find out your PUK code, it is advisable to duplicate it, for example, in a computer, a notebook and store it in a safe place.

In any case, the owner, even if the contract is lost, will be able to definitely regain control over his SIM card. We'll talk about that in our other article.
