How to check the blacklist on an mts phone. MTS "Black List" - a service from MTS

The MTS “Black List” service is an opportunity to limit yourself from unwanted calls coming to your mobile phone. For example, you no longer want to receive calls from a specific person, knowing his number, you can install and configure a black list and this subscriber will no longer call you.

How does the MTS Black List work?

Any MTS user has the right to use this option and block unwanted calls. However, there are several tariff plans on which it is impossible to activate the Black List. These tariffs include “Connect”, “Online” and “iPad”.

In addition to unwanted calls, the subscriber can limit the receipt of messages from certain numbers. On the Cool tariff plan, message blocking is not installed. It is impossible to block only MMS messages, regardless of the user’s tariff plan.

If desired, the user can add up to 300 numbers to the blocking list, and the subscriber trying to call you will hear a notification that you are out of network coverage or several short beeps.

However, it is worth remembering that a subscriber whose calls you do not want to receive can hide his phone number and successfully call you. In order to avoid such situations, you can activate the AntiAON service.

This option can be enabled in several ways:

  1. Using USSD command *111*442#. Then click "Call". The command is entered without spaces or quotes;
  2. Via SMS message 442*1 to number 111;
  3. You can set up blocking in the user’s personal account on the website bl.mts.ru

Connecting the option is free, and use is 1.5 rubles per day.

If the Black List is enabled, you can always set up message blocking, for which you will not be charged. You will also be able to find out the time of the message received and the phone number of the subscriber who sent it to you, but the text itself will be blocked. Messages are blocked using the SMS Pro service.

You can control the lock as it has many settings. The user independently installs them for the convenience of using the option.

To add a specific phone number to your blocked list, you need to:

  1. Use the command *441#, then press “Call”. You will receive further instructions shortly;
  2. Use SMS message 22*subscriber number to the short number 4424. In the message you need to indicate the phone number of the user you want to block.

Also, in your personal account, you always have access to time settings during which all other subscribers can call you. This feature is very convenient, for example, if you want to avoid being woken up early in the morning on weekends or not waking up your child by calling late in the evening.

Disabling the MTS “Black List” service

You can disable blocking unwanted numbers in one of the following ways:

  1. In the user’s personal account, where you need to delete the phone number of the blocked subscriber;
  2. Use USSD command *111*442*2#, then click on “Call”. The command is entered without spaces or quotes;
  3. Send an SMS message with the text 442*2 to number 111.

Subscribers of the Black List service are given the opportunity to block incoming calls and SMS from unwanted subscribers. You yourself enter the numbers of unwanted subscribers into the service list and decide whether this subscriber can reach you or not.

Blocking incoming SMS is possible if you activate the “SMS Pro” service. The “SMS Pro” service, connected simultaneously with the “Black List” service, is provided free of charge.

SMS Pro = SMS Pro.

    How to disable

    SMS blocking

    Blocking incoming SMS is possible only if you activate the “Black List” service and the free “SMS Pro” service
    To activate the “SMS Pro” service, send an SMS with the text “Reg” or “ON” to the toll-free number 232.

    A subscriber who has sent an SMS from a blocked number will receive a delivery report for their SMS.

    Information about blocked SMS can be obtained:

    1. In the "Blocked Calls" section of the WEB interface of the Black List service.
    2. In the USSD menu when dialing *442*4#
    3. When sending command 4 to number 4424

    It is possible to view information about the date and time of receipt of a blocked SMS, as well as the sender's number. Blocked message text is not displayed

    The “Black List” service is available to MTS subscribers of all tariff plans, with the exception of the “Smart Device”, “Connect”, “Online”, “MTS iPad” tariff plans and all their modifications.

    The function of blocking incoming SMS is available to MTS subscribers of all tariff plans, with the exception of the “Cool”, “Connect”, “Online”, “MTS iPad” tariff plans and all their modifications.

    SMS blocking is valid for incoming SMS from subscribers of any mobile operators in Moscow and a number of regions (Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, Oryol, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tambov, Tver, Tula and Yaroslavl ), as well as for SMS from short numbers (up to 7 digits), alpha numeric (alphabetic image) and for messages from MTS services.

    If you add a rule to prohibit receiving SMS from an alpha numeric** (a number consisting of Latin letters or letters and numbers) or from a short* number (a number less than 11 characters long) and select “ban forever” as the type of ban, such SMS in your Personal Account will be displayed as “prohibited SMS”.

    If you decide to disable the “Black List” service, the rules for prohibiting receiving SMS from an alpha numeric** or short* number, prohibited according to the “ban forever” principle, will not be deleted. If you need to remove these rules, send an SMS with the text “clear” to 4424 - and the list of prohibited SMS will be completely cleared.

    How to use

    You can set any type of blocking for each subscriber from your “black list”: calls, SMS, or both.
    Subscribers whose numbers are included in the “black list” and for whom a ban is set will hear one of the signals of your choice when attempting to call: “The subscriber’s device is turned off or is out of network coverage,” “Busy.”

    You can add a number to the service list in the following ways:

    • dial *442# call on your mobile phone
    • send SMS with text "22*room" to a toll-free number 4424 (for response, the hang-up signal “The subscriber’s device is turned off or is out of network coverage” will be selected);
    • go to the service’s Personal Account at bl.mts.ru and set a schedule for blocking calls (for example, if you don’t want someone to call you after hours, then simply set up a “black list” for this number during non-working hours) .

    A complete list of direct commands for managing the service can be found here.

    When entering an alpha numeric**, the case of the input does not matter: to add an alpha numeric** to the “black list”, it is enough to enter the correct sequence of letters, regardless of case (for example, when blocking the number “Abcde”, receiving SMS from numbers will also be blocked "ABCDE", "ABcdE" and other combinations).

    In the personal account of the service at bl.mts.ru, you can set the service schedule (you can set the days of the week and blocking time intervals).
    Authentication in the Personal Account of the Black List service is possible through the MTS Personal Account using the login and password from the MTS Personal Account.

    The Black List service does not require the installation of special applications and works regardless of the telephone model.

    You can blacklist any numbers (mobile, international, landline). Numbers are entered in international format, starting with the country code, for example, Russian numbers must be entered in the format 79161234567.

    Access code for the service

    If necessary (for example, if you do not want anyone to see who is on your “black list”), you can set an access code to manage the service - via USSD or SMS. The access code is a combination of numbers, ranging from 4 to 8 characters in length. After setting the access code, all operations with the service (adding numbers, viewing history, etc.) will be available only after entering the access code.

    The access code can be set in the USSD service management menu by dialing *442# on your mobile phone, or by sending an SMS to a toll-free number 4424 with text 5 .

    To disable the access code, you must activate the free service “Disable the access code (ES)”, for which you need to send an SMS to a toll-free number 111 with text 442*3 or dial *111*442# on your mobile phone.

    What are the restrictions?

    The maximum number of numbers that can be added to the Black List service is 300.

    The Black List service does not allow blocking incoming MMS from subscribers.

    The service operates in countries with which a CAMEL roaming agreement has been concluded. The list of countries can be found by following the link.

How to use

For each subscriber, you can set up a prohibition rule: either calls, or SMS, or both. When a blocked contact tries to call you, they will hear “Busy” or “The subscriber's device is turned off or out of network coverage” (set by your choice). If such a subscriber sends you an SMS, you will not receive it, but the sender will receive a report that the SMS was delivered.

The maximum number of blocks is 300 numbers. MMS cannot be blocked.

The option does not require installation of applications and works on all mobile phones, even push-button ones.

How to blacklist a number

You can blacklist any contacts - mobile numbers of any operators, international, landline numbers. They must be written in international format with a country code without spaces or brackets, for example: 79167654321.

  • SMS to number 4424 with the text “22*number”,

Information about blocked SMS can be viewed through the web interface of the service, as well as using the USSD request *442*4# and sending the message “4” to number 4424. You will be shown the date and time of the unwanted SMS, the sender’s number, but you will not be able to see the text itself It won't be possible.

You can prohibit receiving messages not only from regular numbers (format “+7 9…-…-.-.), but also from short numbers, as well as alpha numbers displayed in text form. However, if you stop using the blacklist service, such numbers will remain blocked, so to completely clear the list of bans, send an SMS with the text “clear” to number 4424.

You can also block receiving messages from all short and alpha numbers. To do this, enable the Anti-SPAM service in your Personal Account or on the page for managing the settings of the Black List service bl.mts.ru. It is free and connects after the main one.

Access code

You can set an access code to control the service. This is a combination of numbers that will be requested every time you try to carry out any operation with the service: adding a contact, viewing a list.

The code can be installed for free by dialing *442# or sending an SMS to 4424 with the text “5”.
The code can be disabled by command *111*442# or SMS to number 111 with the text “442*3”.
