Disabling the touchpad using the touch button

1) Via function keys

2. If you have a “native” touchpad driver installed (and not the default one that Windows often installs), you should have advanced settings. In my case, I needed to open the Dell Touchpad tab and go to advanced settings.
3. Then everything is simple: switch the checkbox to completely disable and no longer use the touchpad. By the way, in my case there was also the option to leave the touchpad turned on, but using the “Disable accidental palm presses” mode. To be honest, I haven’t tested this mode, it seems to me that it doesn’t matter random clicks will be, so it’s better to turn it off completely.

Laptops have a " Fn» — function key, in combination with Fn and the top row keys: F1, F2, F3, etc.., it will be useful. Each laptop has its own keyboard shortcuts, since each laptop manufacturer does it as it is convenient or as it wants.
