Croatia mobile communications. Addresses and telephone numbers in Croatia

When organizing trips abroad, you need to ensure optimal access to quality communications and traffic. This is an important moment for ordinary travelers and for business people who need to always be in touch and solve urgent and complex issues. To get high-quality communications, you must activate MTS roaming abroad. This article provides information on the main tariffs of this offer and presents the main connection options.

The company provides access to free minutes after two additional services are added to the previously connected offer. This refers to functions such as:

  1. National and standard international roaming.
  2. High-quality access to communications in other countries.

As soon as the first service is added, the other is activated automatically. If you need to connect them separately, you need to contact the MTS office department or call the call center employees.

If you want to carry out standard activation, you will need to select one of the following methods:

  • USSD command like *111*2192#;
  • Communication with call center employees;
  • Through a mobile, well-designed application;
  • Operator's department.

To make a connection, it is important to ensure compliance with certain conditions. A person must be a client of MTS, and for a period of at least six months. The total amount of accruals must be at least 650 rubles.

If this period is equal to a year, the amount of accruals will not be taken into account. It is important to ensure that the number is not blocked, and there must be a positive balance on the account. If one of the conditions is not met, the user will be able to connect to the Easy MTS roaming tariff abroad.

MTS tariffs abroad

The main offer for making calls and standard access to the network in other countries of the world is Smart Zabugorishche. Among the main features of this proposal are the following:

  1. Internet traffic is 7 GB;
  2. Outgoing call minutes to mobile phones of this operator are free;
  3. Outgoing calls to other operators – limit 350 minutes;
  4. The limit on the number of SMS sent to all operators is 350 pcs.

When choosing this offer, payment is made once a week. The payment is 250 rubles. The deduction of the amount is not carried out at once, but broken down into separate days.

As for the cost of the transition, this process is free for clients of this operator. For clients of other companies, communication will cost exactly 100 rubles. You can activate MTS roaming tariffs abroad in 2019 in your personal account or by sending *111*1025*1#.

MTS options for roaming abroad

Thanks to the offers, users of this operator can use standard conversation options, send various messages, and go online. Among the main advantages are:

  • Convenient payment of subscription fees. If a person goes abroad for a long time, funds will be withdrawn once a week. If these are periodic trips, the tariff will automatically switch to normal;
  • No need to make any special settings;
  • After the limit is completely exhausted, the Internet does not turn off completely, the access speed simply decreases. After the limitation, it will be equal to 128 kb/sec.

There are also some disadvantages to this profitable and convenient offer. Here we can note some traffic limitation, which is 500 MB per day. You need to know that call minutes are also limited. If there is an overrun, you will have to pay 25 rubles per minute over.

What is better to connect to MTS abroad?

If a subscriber is going on a trip or a business trip abroad, you should carefully choose the appropriate tariff plan. Among the most popular and profitable are the following.

Zabugorishche

This is the most popular MTS tariff for roaming abroad for travelers. Among the main distinctive features are:

  1. The first ten minutes are allowed to be used completely free of charge, from the 11th the cost of 25 rubles is deducted from the subscriber’s balance;
  2. If calls are made in the most popular countries for travel, a free communication limit of 350 minutes will be applied. For other countries that are not included in the list indicated on the portal, payment of 25, equal to rubles, will begin to be transferred strictly from 2 to 5 minutes.

It is possible to activate the function by sending the combination *111*771*1#. There is absolutely no need to disconnect; the required fee is charged during the person’s presence abroad.

Zero without limits

This is a unique analogue of the option presented above. Incoming calls within a standard 10 minutes can be received completely free of charge. After this period, the standard payment from the SIM card is 25 rubles.

The price of this service is 95 rubles per day for the user. To enable it, you will need to dial *444#. If a person is in other countries, you need to send *111*4444#. Connection is allowed in your personal account.

Free travel

Users of this tariff plan will be provided with free communication for the first hour. After this, the cost is set at 10 rubles per conversation minute. The total cost of this tariff plan per day is 190 rubles.
To connect, you will need to use one of three methods:

  • Visiting your personal account;
  • Sending a combination like *111*943# ;
  • SMS to 111 with the text 943.

This service must be disabled immediately upon return. For this purpose, 9430 is sent to mobile 111.

Bit abroad

If you plan to use traffic when organizing a trip abroad, employees recommend activating this option along with the main tariff. This is the best option for using mail and visiting social networks. If you have the opportunity to use navigation and bank cards, you can connect the Maxi BIT option.

SuperBit abroad

This option assumes a full-fledged package of high-quality traffic, which includes basic functions for sending large volumes and even watching videos. You can connect to the service using one of two methods:

  1. Personal account.
  2. Standard USSD request type *111*2224#.

After connecting, clients will have access to the following additional options. As for the cost, it directly depends on the place where the person is located.

MTS calls abroad – cost

The prices for the services of this plan directly depend on a large number of factors. What matters is the chosen tariff, the number of additional minutes provided and the volume of quality traffic provided. Based on them, you can determine for yourself which MTS tariff is the most profitable for roaming abroad.

The established tariffs are completely similar to the standard ones, and activation can be done at the operator’s office or in the personal section on the portal. Payment for services is transferred once every 30 days. This may be writing off the full amount or splitting it into separate parts, which is important if the required amount is not available in the account.

How to disable roaming on MTS abroad?

A subscriber who is abroad will not be able to visit the office to disable the option. You can perform this process using one of the following methods:

  • Dial request *111*2192# .
  • Using the Internet assistant on the provider's portal.
  • Call number +74957660166.

In order not to encounter certain difficulties, it is worth considering the disconnection in advance by visiting the office before the trip.

Summing up

As soon as there is a need to travel abroad, you must take care of connecting international roaming. Among the offers of this operator, you can easily find the best option by choosing from a variety of offers. This is the best opportunity to stay in touch with family and work partners with minimal financial expenses, and sometimes for free.

In terms of mobile communications, the country's market segment is entirely owned by foreign companies - the Austrian neighbors control the Vip operator, the German T-Mobile is the owner of the local T-Hrvatski Telekom, and Tele2, which is familiar in Russia, is owned by the Swedes. There are also several “virtual specialists” working in the country, which are “subsidiaries” of these companies.

It seems that communications in the country are at such a high level largely due to the famous scrupulous approach of the German-speaking business - coverage is available absolutely everywhere, support is available even in Russian, and the tariffs are very flexible and take into account the preferences of different consumer groups as much as possible.

Where is the best place to buy a SIM card?

Packages from all operators can be purchased in places with high human traffic: post offices, gas stations, supermarkets and, of course, in mobile phone stores. The average cost of cards is quite expensive - about 100 kuna (about 1000 rubles), but the entire amount is credited to your account. Thus, in Croatia, SIM cards are actually obtained for free.

Cellular tariffs for tourists

An important point that needs to be taken into account when purchasing SIM cards from local operators is the presence of connection fees in most tariffs. This practice has been preserved in many European countries and has not become a thing of the past even after the adoption of the law on unified roaming in the Eurozone. Price: 0.29 kn.

For tourists calling to Russia, the three most favorable rates are:

  • “International” from the Vip operator: 0.4 kuna for home phones (only 3.5 rubles);
  • from the virtual operator Tomato: 4.07 kuna per minute (38 rubles);
  • from Tele2 - 5.95 kun/min (54 rubles/min).

Please note that international calls are also subject to a flat connection fee (0.29 HRK).

When it comes to quality and coverage, it’s difficult to identify a particular leader. By automatically selecting any operator, we will receive good coverage and impeccable quality of services. The fact is that in the case of a small number of subscribers served in a cellular network from one base station, the speed of 3G or 4G mobile Internet will be much higher (these are simple principles of mobile communications). To manually select an operator, for example on Android, you need to scan all networks in the cellular data settings, then select one of the available ones. But if the selected operator disappears, we risk being left completely without communication.
