What are the advantages of such work:

• You decide when to work and when to rest;
• There is no boss or subordinate above you, so you have no obligations or responsibilities, other than those that arise when working with clients;
• Many freelancers can work remotely from anywhere in the world.

In general, everything works out pretty well, but freelancing cannot be called income for ordinary people in the full sense of the word. In order to become a professional freelancer and earn a lot, and consistently, you need to have certain skills and abilities. In addition to the area in which you will work, you need to understand marketing methods (to advertise your services), be able to communicate with people, take care of your business reputation, and also have willpower, because you yourself must force yourself to work, a boss like me I already said, there is no one above you. In addition to all this, you will have to compete both with other freelancers and with entire companies working in your chosen field. Being constantly looking for work is not for everyone, which is why most people who start freelancing give up this activity in favor of a traditional job. What happens next is written in the first paragraph.

Option #3: Business! Is it possible to become an entrepreneur from scratch?

If you feel some entrepreneurial inclinations in yourself, you can try to realize yourself in a small business. To do this, you will need a business idea, some initial capital and a willingness to work day and night to achieve your goal. Again, this option is not suitable for everyone, because only a few become successful entrepreneurs. There is also no need to naively believe that by starting to build a business at home or with a small budget, you will be able to “outdo” your wealthier competitors. A supermarket will always be more profitable than a kiosk, and a furniture factory will always be more profitable than a single carpenter. Nevertheless, the option is quite promising in terms of gaining useful practical experience, which can be used later to attract investors and open a worthwhile project.

Let's sum up the intermediate results. How can an ordinary person earn money without special inclinations, connections or capital? All options boil down to the fact that to move up the social ladder you need something that the average Russian does not have. You can, of course, try to start without connections, but at the same time you must have unparalleled desire and talent in your chosen industry. But what should the rest of us do? Is it really possible that a person born into a simple family is forced to work “for his uncle” all his life for pennies, without being able to get further? Many people believe that this is the way it is, at first they don’t like it, it seems unfair, but then they get used to it and are unable to change anything. I once thought the same thing, but everything has changed...

Finally, we have come to the key part of this article, because what follows is an option for making money, which has been bringing me a stable income for 15 years now, without requiring any connections, special abilities, or large initial capital. This method is suitable for those who have something to tell people... or for those who can tell some kind of nonsense in such a way that they will listen to it with pleasure =). The structure of such a small business has been formed for a long time, and there is no need to invent anything new here. First, you invite people to a free seminar in some area (successful business, successful freelancing, etc.). Here you need to make a good impression and make people want to continue learning. At the end of the seminar, you offer to pay for a paid course from a certain number of classes, and if the impression is made well, several people will certainly agree.

How much can you earn like this? One of my friends, who conducts seminars on the topic of tourism business, receives more than $3,000 a month. Yes, it’s not much compared to other businesses, but the work is quite comfortable. He conducts his lectures only 6-7 hours a week, the rest of the time is at his complete disposal.
