Recovering data in 12 easy steps

This program works under Windows, Mac and Linux. With this 12-point description, you can restore your phone book as well as other files.

1. Open the folder with the saved backup. By default, the backup is saved in C: \ Users \ Username\ Documents \ Sony \ Sony PC Companion \ Phone Backups

7. The folder should contain a file called fullbackupdata. Copy this file to your Desktop (just drag and drop).
8. Now, download my program from the file in the attachment.
9. Unpack "restoreData.jar" and place it on the Desktop as well.
10. Almost there! Now double click run “restoreData.jar”. After a few seconds, the file “ restore.tar”. If it doesn't, make sure you have java installed and both files are in the same directory (for example, on the Desktop).
11. Open this file with 7zip or a similar program.
12. Now you need to find a folder named “f”. This folder should contain the file “ full_backup_vcard.vcf“. This is exactly what you were looking for.
