Download the emulator on the computer in Russian. Choosing the best Android OS emulator

Greetings to you, dear lovers of tablet computers. In today's article, I made a selection of the best, in my opinion, emulators of the Android operating system for Windows. Also, based on all the material received, I will try to select the best Android emulator.

Android application store has several hundred thousand different software products, both paid and free. Such an abundance of applications makes this operating system, along with iOS, one of the most popular and sought-after mobile operating systems in the world.

It is quite logical that with this, I will not be afraid of this word, various emulators appear on the PC, allowing you to open applications developed for Android on a regular platform. Below you can find a list of the most vivid and high-quality representatives of emulators for Android.

Genymotion

This emulator is perfect for testing your applications created for the Android operating system, all this is available thanks to the built-in hardware acceleration of OpenGL. In the past, this project (emulator) was called Android VM, it gradually grew into a full-fledged, and in my opinion, one of the highest quality products of this kind of all available.

Software tool Genymotoin is a multi-platform emulator, which means that it is available for most operating systems, such as: Windows, MacOS, Linux.

From the large number of advantages and capabilities of this software tool, I would like to note the following:

  • Quite an impressive base of supported, for emulation, devices. At the same time, the base is constantly updated, which, of course, is good news;
  • Allows you to emulate a Wi-Fi connection;
  • Emulation of the rear and front video cameras on the device;
  • Ability to create screen castes.

This, of course, is not a complete list of all the advantages of this tool. I did not specifically touch upon some of the possibilities. they are unlikely to be understood by the ordinary, ordinary PC user.

Despite all the features and benefits of this emulator, of course, there are drawbacks, where without them.

  • Applications created using Adobe Air Mobile are not supported by this emulator.

If you do not know which tool to choose, then I recommend starting your search with this emulator.

Windroy

Emulator Site - socketeq.com

  Emulator - the creation of Chinese developers. Of course, this program does not reach the level of the previous one, but it can still be used as an alternative tool. Some special features and advantages were not noticed.

I would like to note the speed of this emulator, it is really somewhat higher than the speed of other tools. But, coupled with the number of “brakes” and “glitches”, this seemingly tangible plus will fade. Perhaps by the time you read this article, the developers have eliminated the most obvious flaws and bugs. Suitable for Windows XP, 7, 8.

Bluestacks

  Not really an emulator, in the usual sense of the word. This product is rather an environment for launching Android games on a personal computer under the control of the Windows operating system. If you are looking for an emulator only for running games, then you will not find this tool better.

Of the advantages that this emulator possesses, I would like to note that the application performance is pretty good.

YouWave for Android

  A small, simple program for emulating the Android operating system. If you compare it with other representatives of XP, 7.8) from this list, then YouWave is one of the most used tools. All the same - the simplicity and intuitive interface - the two most important qualities of a good emulator.

  In fact, this tool is not an emulator - it is rather an environment for developing an Android application that includes, which is completely understandable and natural, testing and debugging tools for created applications.

If you need an emulator for more complex purposes than “testing a toy”, you can choose this tool. Available for most operating systems, including PC Windows (XP, 7.8).

If none failed to start

If you failed to start any emulator, you can use these. Because I didn’t check them for myself, I can’t say anything about them. Perhaps they will work fine for you:

Andy - a new emulator, according to some users, on this moment  It works without additional dances with a tambourine. I will test.

Nox APP Player is a good option.

IMPORTANT: If you have chosen the right option for yourself, then save time for the rest - vote for the working tool.

Greetings to you, dear reader. In today's article, I will tell you how you can run the Windows operating system on your gadget, based on the Android mobile operating system. This can be done with the help of special software, such tools are called - emulators. With the help of these programs we will launch Windows on your gadget (phone or tablet with Android OS).

The practical benefits of this operation can be quite substantial.. In addition to the surprise of friends, which you can cause by running Windows on your device, quite specific tasks can be solved. For example, you need to run a program on your Android gadget that works only under Windows. You can also run some simple Windows games.

So, below you can find a list of emulator programs, as well as short descriptions and instructions for them. I want to immediately warn, because Windows is a fairly resource-intensive system, then your Android gadget should be relatively powerful.

QEMU

  A good emulator that will allow you to run Windows 98 (95) on your device. Below you can find a small instruction manual for working with this software.:

  • Download the QEMU emulator (sdlapp.apk) from our website and install it on your Android device;
  • Download the file with the BIOS firmware, drivers, etc. You can also download this file from our website by a direct link (sdl.zip). Unpack the archive to the root of the sdcard;
  • Next, you need to download the Windows operating system image, this emulator only supports Windows 95 and Windows 98. Links - -;
  • Next, from the archive downloaded in the previous step, we extract the C.img file and “throw” it into the “SDL” folder in the root of your SDCard;
  • We start the program installed at the first stage. If done correctly, Windows will start.

Running programs in the emulator

A small instruction on how to run programs in QEMU. So, let's begin:

  • We download archive with images (empty). Link from our site - qemu_hdd.rar;
  • Load the program WinImage (winimage_8.10.8100.rar). With this tool you need to upload your files in a suitable, in size, image;
  • Next, you need to rename the image with the files of your programs to “D.img” and transfer it to the SDL (folder) on your SDCard;
  • In the sdl.conf file you need to add the line: “/ sdl -L. -m 128 -boot c -hda C.img -hdb D.img -usb -usbdevice tablet ”;
  • Start Windows, install the necessary programs from disk “D”.

BOCHS

Another one for devices based on the Android operating system. Theoretically, this emulator will allow you to run Windows OS of any version, but relatively relatively stable work only two - 98 and 95. If you want to install XP or 7, then get ready for the fact that they will not work (XP, 7) as you would like. So, we proceed to setting up:

  • Download and install the device (bochs2_5_1.apk);
  • Download the firmware (sdl_for_bochs.zip), unpack it into the SDL folder in the root of your SDCard;
  • Download the .img image of the necessary OSes (there are links to Win98.95 above, links to winXP and 7 can be found on the Internet);
  • After downloading the image (archive with Win 95, 98, XP, 7), unpack it and rename the file in the archive to c.img, drop it into the SDL folder into the SDCard root;
  • Open the emulator installed in the first step.

Run programs in Bochs

The process of launching programs in this emulator is similar to what I described earlier (to the QEMU emulator), use it.

Android emulator for Windows, you can run in various ways, which will predetermine the functions and performance of the emulator in future use. The Android PC emulator will allow the user to get Windows, but with applications.

Android emulator "Nox app player"

Android emulator for PC "KoPlayer"

KoPlayer, this is a newer android emulator for PC. The main focus, like the Nox App Player is for games. You will be able to use keyboard layouts to emulate the controller from the keyboard. Players will also be able to record the game and upload it wherever they wish.

The installation process is simple enough that even a beginner will figure it out. Like most emulators, you can use it for various purposes. The only bad side is that it is still buggy. However, this is a good, free option. Download emulator for windows from the official site: http://www.koplayer.com/

Android emulator for Windows "Android Studio"

The Android Studio emulator simulates a device and displays it on your computer. The emulator supports Android phone, tablet, Android and Android devices  TV. It comes with predefined device types, so you can get started quickly, and you can create your own device definitions and skin emulator.

Android emulator for PC Windows "Bluestacks"

Bluestacks also simulates Android on your Windows PC. The developers have done a lot of work, as a result of which there are many necessary updates for their platform. The result of this work has become, called Bluestacks 2, and is faster, more stable, and one of the best Android PC emulators. It supports multi-tasking applications and has built-in functionality for such things as screen rotation and a location pointer, such features it did not previously have.

The Android PC emulator allows you to get a personal computer with Android applications. There are already quite a lot of such programs; every user who faces the problem of emulating such programs on a PC will have to choose
