What is traffic arbitrage? And how to make money on it! What is traffic arbitrage and why is it needed? How to choose an offer and affiliate program

Hello! In this article we will tell you about traffic arbitrage, where to start and how to make money on traffic arbitrage.

Today you will learn:

  1. What is traffic arbitrage;
  2. How to make money from traffic arbitrage;
  3. And how to start for a beginner who knows nothing about arbitration.

Traffic arbitrage- one of the most interesting and complex types. Engaging in competent arbitrage means finding a real gold mine. Many teams that started with traffic resale are now reaching the top with their projects, websites and companies that earn up to several million a year. So what is traffic arbitrage and that's it?

Basic Concepts

Before moving on to the main part of the article, it is strongly recommended that you familiarize yourself with the terminology:

  • Traffic– site visitors;
  • Arbitrator (webmaster) - a person who makes money from traffic arbitrage;
  • CPA model– a model of work in which the advertiser pays for the targeted action of the visitor who visited his page. Most often this is: filling out an application, ordering, online purchasing, registration.
  • CPA network– a resource that brings together webmasters and advertisers. Takes care of all financial and statistical issues, charging a commission for this;
  • Offer– offer from the advertiser;
  • Landing– a one-page website that is used to sell one product or service;
  • Pre-landing(layout) - a site that is created by a webmaster as a means of increasing audience interest in the product and screening out bots;
  • Hold– the time between the completion of a target action by a site visitor using the webmaster’s link and the payment to his account;
  • Conversion– the ratio of the number of clients who performed the target action to the total number of clients.

What is traffic arbitrage

Let's start right away with an example to make it clearer.

Imagine that you are a webmaster. You have found where some company offers to pay you 300 rubles for attracting one buyer (who paid for some product, for example, for 2000 rubles). And you are a good specialist and you think that you can attract many clients for this company.

Example 2. A large company wants to attract a large number of new clients. But almost all companies work harder to sell some product or service using their brand.

If we take, for example, the Internet, then this will be the sale of the Beeline brand (Megafon, MTS, Domolink, etc.), and not a specific tariff. But when working with webmasters, large companies sell their products and services, not their name. Firstly, this approach significantly expands the customer base. Secondly, it can lure other customers who are dissatisfied with the company to a suitable product.

Working with webmasters brings companies additional clients, increases brand confidence various groups population. This significantly reduces advertising costs, but requires proper calculation of all investments. After all, the profit of companies, as well as the profit of a webmaster, must be clearly calculated.

But what is attractive about traffic arbitrage as a way to make money?

There may be several answers to this question:

  • Quite a low entry threshold;
  • Possibility to scale the business;
  • Fairly easy to learn;
  • Does not require constant attention.

How traffic arbitrage works

Now a little about the mechanism of traffic resale itself. There are a large number of offers in affiliate programs. The webmaster must choose what he would be interested in promoting.

Usually offers already have some necessary materials, which should be enough for novice webmasters. The webmaster then drives traffic to the affiliate link and when customers take a predetermined action, a reward is paid.

Experienced webmasters prefer to create their own advertising materials rather than take them from their advertisers. This is done because often advertisers do not know some of the “tricks” that can increase conversions, attract additional customers, they create not very successful websites - in general, they make many mistakes that filter out part of the traffic.

This is why an experienced webmaster will be able to attract many more clients per offer than a beginner, due to additional, independently developed methods and advertising materials. That is why it is better for beginners to work with popular offers, with high-quality advertising materials, periodically reading blogs and forums of famous arbitrage specialists.

The most important thing in traffic arbitrage is to decide on the target audience. This is very important point, which cannot be ignored. The target audience is those who buy. These are not the people who look at the goods, not the ones who are interested in them. These are the ones who buy.

Let's take an example from a video tutorial by one famous website developer Alexander Chipizhko:

My wife has a fitness club and recently I made her a landing page. The first thing we decided on was the target audience. I was very surprised when she told me what categories of people visit the site and which ultimately buy her services as a fitness trainer.

About 80% of all visitors who are interested are young girls from 16 to 20 years old. Their figure is fine, but they want to lose weight and improve something. They buy 3-4% of the time. Next comes the category from 20 to 30 years. And these are girls who want to change something about themselves, but also rarely buy services. And the main target audience is already middle-aged ladies of 40-45 years old, with cellulite and other problems with their figure. And they are the most solvent and purchasing ones. And accordingly, we did the main advertising on them.

This principle will also be important for arbitrageurs, because companies buy clients. That is why it is so important to determine their target audience, to whom advertising should be done. This is the first thing to learn when mastering such a difficult profession.

Another important point is that at first you can engage in traffic arbitrage alone. Take ready-made materials, place them on resources, monitor, analyze, think about how you can increase conversion, reduce costs and generally increase profits. But over time, the business scales and then almost all webmasters recruit a good team that distributes responsibilities.

Of course, you can do all these things alone, but if you work with 4-5 offers, test them all and update creatives on time, this will take a huge amount of time. And if you add constant analysis to this, then there may not be enough hours in the day. Also, working as a team helps to share all kinds of risks and arrange brainstorm, which will allow you to create a truly original idea.

The main difference between beginners and professionals is that the former often use ready-made materials, while the latter create their own attractive creatives, which work much better.

Over time, you will be able to create your own selling tricks that you will use, be able to reduce costs, choose tools well, etc. This will be the development of an arbitrator in his profession.

Types of traffic

In order to understand the methods of attracting traffic, let's talk about its types. This will allow you to understand what tools you can use to attract traffic, and what the resale mechanism is generally.

contextual advertising

Contextual advertising attracts a strictly target audience that is truly interested in the product. The so-called hot clients. Contextual advertising usually appears in 1-3 places for any request in Yandex or Google, which immediately increases the popularity of links.

The main advantage of contextual advertising is “client temperature”. It is displayed only for relevant queries, the topics of which coincide with advertising ones. Essentially, we attract a client who knows about his problem and is interested in solving it. The main disadvantage is the price. The cost per click on an ad can range from 10 to 100+ rubles, depending on many factors.

Contextual advertising by brand

This is still the same contextual advertising, only the attraction through it is not for a specific product, but for a specific brand. Some advertisers allow the use of a brand name to attract customers, others prohibit it, arguing that webmasters are selling them their own customers in this way.

Using the company name makes it much easier to find clients, because large companies are trusted, people want to buy their products and services, and therefore it is much easier to attract clients.

Incentivized traffic

Traffic with one of the highest conversions. Here the user is promised some kind of bonus for the action performed.

There are two types of motivational traffic:

  • Visit for a bonus;
  • Visit for money.

Their main difference is that the bonus can be intangible, but useful for one or another category of people. Money is paid to everyone for performing a certain action. Such traffic is attracted extremely willingly, but requires quite a lot of costs.

Traffic from social media networks

An option to attract traffic is to use social networks. Moreover, each individual portal has its own advertising methods and prices. These could be impressions in the feed (VK, Instagram, Facebook, etc.), small advertising offers on the page, or sound clips when listening to music.

Clickunder

This is a case where attracting traffic using this method is very rarely worth the cost. Clickunder new inset, which opens in background. The conversion rate is extremely low, and often does not even justify its costs.

Pros: low cost. Disadvantages: low conversion.

Teaser advertising

One of the oldest methods of attracting customers. The teaser can be translated as “tease”. These are often small advertisements that contain flashy headlines.

Teasers can be compared to the yellow press in terms of the content of many pages - they knowingly release false information, motivate the client to perform a certain action. The effectiveness of a teaser depends less on the image and more on the text. The more interesting the presentation, the more effective the teaser will be.

Teaser networks do not attract paying traffic. Often this is an entertainment topic, such as online games or gambling projects. But sometimes these are news teasers that are simply full of yellow headlines, like “Some star lost weight with the help of...”, “I made a million from this...” and other variations.

Pros: wide coverage and average click-through rate. Of the minuses: low solvency.

Banners

The oldest, but nevertheless one of the most effective methods promotion. A banner is a static or dynamic image that contains information about a product.

For a good banner, the main thing is to choose a high-quality picture and create an attractive and motivating text that will encourage the user to follow the link. After clicking on the picture, clients most often end up on the advertiser’s website.

Cashback

This is a rather new way of attracting traffic for Russia, but nevertheless has shown its effectiveness. Cashback - money back. That is, the client receives a percentage of purchases made. Well suited for product traffic, but can also be used in other areas.

It works something like this: the webmaster receives 600 rubles from an attracted client, and in the ad he writes “Refund of the purchase price... - 200 rubles.” As a result, both the client, who received a kind of discount, and the webmaster are happy - after all, his income, minus the costs of attracting the client himself, is 400 rubles, and the advertiser - he sold his product.

Pros: high conversion, greater motivation to purchase and re-attract customers using the service. Of the minuses: high costs, which at first can even put beginners at a disadvantage.

Email traffic

Ideally, E-mail traffic has nothing to do with spam. These are simply promotional offers that the user voluntarily subscribes to. And after that, he receives announcements about new types of goods, services, exclusive offers, and so on. But often webmasters simply buy databases and send their offers to people who didn’t sign up for it at all.

Pros: relatively cheap way attracting customers, requiring minimal time and effort.

Of the minuses: low conversion, and dishonest method of attraction. You can increase conversion with “individual offers” for each potential client. Possible discounts, gifts and various bonuses can increase conversion quite high, and when mailing to the target base, you can increase the conversion several times.

Pop-up window

This is the same annoying advertisement that pops up when you visit some sites. To close such advertising, you need to wait a certain amount of time. Often this is non-targeted advertising, the purpose of which is to convey to the user information that a certain product or service is available.

Push

These are animated game banners. They are most often designed as a simple game in which when the user hovers the cursor over a certain place, it turns into a sight or something similar. When clicking on such a banner, the user is immediately redirected to the site, and it is very important that it matches the theme of this gaming banner.

Pros: a large number of clicks. Cons: small area of application - most often on a gaming theme.

Adult traffic

Traffic from sites whose target audience falls under the 18+ category. Despite the fact that the attraction method can be different, from a banner to regular links or pop-up pages, this is a separate category of traffic. It is prohibited in many offers, but, nevertheless, some continue to cooperate with webmasters who attract specifically adult.

Let's systematize this information using a table:

Now we will provide you with real step-by-step instructions on how to start making money from traffic arbitrage right now.

Step 1. Selecting an affiliate program.

This is the most important step that needs to be approached with the greatest attention. It determines how much income you will receive, what offers you will be provided with, and how high the conversion of your leads will be.

First you need to look at reviews from other webmasters, preferably on independent portals or in groups on social networks. The main thing: payments, honesty, number of offers.

Another point that you should pay attention to is the work of the call center. In some affiliate programs, operators who call potential clients may allow gross mistakes and thereby lower the percentage of sales, casting doubt on the purity of the webmaster’s traffic; in others, on the contrary, they can even convince a potentially doubting lead to make a purchase.

Step 2. Selecting an offer.

After you have chosen an affiliate program, you need to select a suitable offer. Beginners are recommended to start by choosing 2-3 offers in order to share risks, see what works best, and subsequently scale their income according to investments.

Professionals most often prefer to choose one direction and work through it completely. For example, these could be product offers, gaming offers, credit offers, or others.

With a lot of experience, webmasters can narrow their specialization and attract one category of clients. Beginners should try themselves in all of them.

What to pay attention to:

  • Offer rating;
  • Targeted actions;
  • Hold time;
  • Design of advertising materials;
  • Requirements for traffic sources.

Step 3. Generate traffic.

This is also quite an important stage. Right now we are determining the target audience, coverage, geo and other parameters by which we will select potential clients.

A few words about your website as a way to attract and resell traffic. The total costs may be several times higher than the income that a webmaster can receive over a certain period of time - the life of the site. If you do not have sufficient knowledge in the field of website development and promotion, you should not consider the site as your own source of traffic.

When you have decided on the sources, target audience and attraction method, you can launch an advertising campaign and move on to the next stage.

Step 4. Analyze.

The most interesting stage in the work of every webmaster. At this moment, various advertising sources are analyzed, calculations are made on the profitability of creatives, the most profitable one is selected, and the rest are turned off.

An important point: display by time. You should conduct a small test in order to understand at what time the click-through rate and conversion on advertisements is better. This will allow you to make the right choice to turn off display at unprofitable times, and thereby reduce advertising costs.

Step 5. Change creatives.

Each creative has its own lifespan. And it is decreasing over time. If earlier, a high-quality banner could attract customers for several months, now its lifespan is 2-3 weeks. It is after this period that you need to create a new banner, write new text, and make a new selection.

In essence, this point is a new repetition of the third step, but with new materials and additional statistics. At the same time, you should always take into account that you cannot slightly replace the image or text, this will not help and the quantity and quality of traffic will continue to decline.

This point also includes changing the offer if it has already become obsolete. It is always worth being on the wave and moving after market trends, slightly ahead of them. This will allow the first to receive maximum income and avoid unprofitable offers in advance.

TOP 5 best CPA networks (partners)

Now let’s talk about the best affiliate programs that are an ideal starting point for beginners.

Ad1. It has just a huge number of offers that are constantly updated. Very welcoming to beginners, as it has good interface. That is why it is also interesting for many advertisers, who are selected manually.

One of the advantages is the operational technical support. support that very quickly answers all questions that arise, and a small payment threshold - 800 rubles, every week. With an increase in turnover of more than 5,000 rubles, you can withdraw funds more often.

Admitad is the next CPA network that is suitable for lovers of statistics and analysis. Their own statistics service is a real bomb. Order time, click time, number of user actions on the site, call analysis, and so on.

Cityads– a real monopoly on the gaming offers market. Ideal as a starting point for those who have at least a little knowledge of the subject of online games. I personally use financial offers from here. The affiliate is very good!

There are more than 200 different gaming offers here, the list of which is constantly updated. Why is it recommended to start with them? It's simple. Novice webmasters can most easily attract clients to this category than to all others. This is why you should start your journey in online game arbitrage with cityads.

M1-Shop– leader of product offers. The largest number of products, fast technical support and excellent commission - this is how you can briefly describe the M1. Nothing extra - you need to select a product category, create an advertisement and attract traffic. Nothing more is required from the client.

Aleba– one of my favorite affiliate networks! An active CPA affiliate that deals with financial offers, but now commodity ones are appearing. High-quality affiliate network with its own advertising materials. Most of them are of fairly high quality, which makes the work of an affiliate marketer much easier.

It is also worth remembering that affiliate programs are interested in the earnings of their affiliates. Since they take a percentage for each attracted client, it is in their interests that each party is satisfied with the cooperation.

That is why they create such favorable conditions both for advertisers, who bring money into the system, and for webmasters, who attract clients and bring their percentage to the system.

One important piece of advice for an arbitrator: communicate with technical support at your chosen CPA affiliate. They are paid money to advise their clients. Before choosing an offer, be sure to contact them, and they will advise what is really profitable to work with. Just a few words will not only reduce time costs, but also help save money.

Main risks in traffic arbitrage

As in any business, traffic arbitrage carries certain risks.

Let's look at some of them in more detail:

  1. Mistakes in selecting target audiences. There are often cases when, due to inexperience, a financial offer was published on entertainment-related traffic. This led to the fact that the entire advertising budget was spent on displaying ads, and there were no clicks on them.
  2. Fraud. This is low quality traffic. Some webmasters deliberately attract low-quality clients, or echo the ads of their competitors.
  3. Long hold. One of the enemies of a newbie is a long delay in payments. Few people are ready to immediately pay large sums for an advertising campaign, which is why everyone starts small, gradually increasing the volume. But a long wait for the withdrawal of funds can stop the advertising campaign, due to which the flow of clients will be lost, the creatives will quickly become outdated, and along with the expected additional income, you will have to spend again on creating and launching an advertising campaign.
  4. No cash flow distribution. It is best to “cast” on several offers, in each offer on several advertising platforms. This allows you to better analyze information and leave only the most profitable advertising campaigns. Beginners prefer to leave 1-2 offers, and one advertising campaign for each, which makes any unsuccessful decision to attract traffic erroneous and fatal for their account.

How much can you earn from traffic arbitrage?

Here we come to the final and most interesting part of our article. Many people are still tormented by the question of how much they can earn from traffic arbitrage.

To answer this question, you can go to the website of any CPA network and see the TOP earnings. Daily turnover on some accounts will amount to millions of rubles. This is the level to which one can and should strive. And these are far from just drawn figures. But how much can a beginner and an average affiliate marketer earn?

Let's start with arbitrage traders with an average level of knowledge, skills and experience. Those who do everything alone can earn from 10 to 200 thousand rubles per month, depending on investments and efficiency. In other words, you can freely make 50-60 thousand alone, working in arbitration for one to three years.

Teams of experienced arbitrageurs can achieve an account turnover of several million rubles. The total profit per person in such projects is 50-400 thousand rubles, with high employment, a competent approach and constant work.

Top studios that have several of their own traffic sources can increase volumes to tens of millions of rubles per month, due to large investments and work on different directions offers immediately.

But now about the most important thing. A beginner cannot count on profit in the first few weeks, or even months. The situation here is similar to trading on the stock market. At first, the main task is to learn how to break even.

- one of the most important stages which arbitrage traders go through. Depending on knowledge, work, analytical abilities and luck, they pass it in the first week or month. Due to the fact that at first the account turnover will be quite small, you will have to wait for payments for a very long time, which will only slow down development and profit.

To summarize all of the above:

  1. Experienced teams receive from 1 to ... million rubles per month.
  2. Experienced arbitrators – from 10 to 200 thousand rubles per month.
  3. Beginners – from 0 to 30,000 rubles per month.
  4. It all depends on the skills and desire to develop. There is no quick money in arbitration, and this should be remembered.

Conclusion

Summarizing all of the above, we can draw several simple conclusions. Traffic arbitrage is the resale of visitors to various Internet portals. Large companies that do not want to deal with advertising and attracting new clients are interested in this. In order to engage in traffic arbitrage, you will need skills in copywriting, design and advertising. There is no quick money, but with enough persistence, earnings from traffic arbitrage can reach several million rubles per month.

Traffic arbitrage is one of the largest sections of money making on the network, which does not require special knowledge, large budgets, a multi-year website and other resources from the webmaster. In this article we will try to explain in detail what exactly an arbitrator does, what CPA affiliate programs are, offers, and so on. Go!

How to make money from traffic arbitrage

If we translate the phrase “traffic arbitrage” into Russian, then this expression can be described as “mediation”.

- this is a seller who needs to sell a product, issue a loan, get a new client for his bookmaker, etc.

Arbitrator– this is you: the person who promotes offers and receives a commission from sales, deposits, registrations, etc.

CPA-net– this is the platform through which all work is carried out; such platforms are also called affiliate programs. They provide customized links, complete conversion and sales statistics, support and other information.

Earning money is quite simple:

  1. You register in the CPA network;
  2. Choose an offer (loans, sports betting, online games, Appliances And so on);
  3. Read the terms of the offer and affiliate program;
  4. Choose advertising tools (ready-made landing pages, links, banners – whatever);
  5. Promote your offer;
  6. The client clicks on your advertisement and buys the product;
  7. The offer pays you a percentage of the transaction.

As we can see, everything is quite transparent. Of course, there are many nuances to this topic. For example, some offers prohibit the use of a certain promotion method, some set restrictions on targeting (for example, only girls or people over 25), some oblige you to advertise a product by agreement, etc. However, for the most part, early stage traffic arbitrage is quite simple circuit earnings for development.

How much can you earn from traffic arbitrage?

Income in traffic arbitrage is very difficult to predict and depends on dozens of factors. Of course, the main thing that affects how much you earn is experience! Experienced arbitrageurs earn tens of thousands of dollars a day, and some even hundreds. Yes, there is no mistake here, some arbitrageurs earn more than $100,000 per day! Of course, there are only a few of these, and this is not a stable income, but only when there is a working combination of an offer and a traffic source, tested and working. Sometimes, to find such a combination, you have to spend thousands of dollars and months on tests. But on average, everything is not so categorical; in most cases, earnings are lower, and the costs of finding a working connection and tests are also lower.

To understand the level of earnings, you can look at the cases:

An example of earnings from arbitration in 1.5 months. See expenses in

To better understand what traffic arbitrage is and where the money comes from, let's look at an example.

Let’s take absolutely any offer, let’s say we decided to make money by selling watches.

Example of an offer for the sale of goods (watches)

This offer offers us from 0.5% to 8% of the completed transaction. Let's say that a customer clicks from your ad and buys a Skagen Leather watch, the cost of which is 9390 rubles. IN in this case the seller offers you a CPS of 5% .

You get from one sale 469,5 rubles

Amounts may vary as they depend on:

  • topics;
  • audience;
  • the final offer;
  • product categories, etc.

The main thing you need to understand is that arbitrage is a fairly flexible thing that you need to master with small sales. Get your first experience, get your first hundred bucks, and then play big.

And our first task is to choose a suitable CPA network.

Selecting an affiliate program

Quite a large CPA network with a large Russian-speaking audience (the VK group numbers about 100 thousand people). "Partnerka" offers us:

  • more than 800 offers;
  • high deductions (20-100 rubles higher than others);
  • consultations in VK or Telegram messenger;
  • promotional materials for any offer and much more.

Very simple system, which has been operating on the network for more than 5 years. For starters, this is quite a suitable option.

Website:

Ad1

Ad1 is: a large number of “commodity” offers, no delays in payments, personal connection to exclusive programs, good technical support and much more.

For the most part, Ad1 is a platform for goods and online games; there are not many other areas.

Each offer is checked manually, which means no one is deceiving you. New items and exclusives are often published. Plus, daily statistics are kept, thanks to which you can track the most popular offers and tools for working with clients.

Admitad is the largest affiliate network. At first it seems somewhat complicated due to the multi-component interface, but over time you realize that working here is quite convenient.

Since this network is global and large-scale, you can immerse yourself in the world of traffic arbitrage. Every day you will receive messages about profitable offers by email, news is updated daily on the site, full statistics are available to your eyes - in general, there is a lot of material to familiarize yourself with.

The advantages of Admitad are that here you can find both unknown brands (of which there are a lot in Ad1) and popular companies such as Megafon, M.Video and others.

Offer selection

Where is the best place to start? In principle, all sites are quite similar. If you just want to try, then start with simple options. M1-Shop or Ad1 will do just fine. If you are focused on long-term work, want to try out all the tools and see all the programs, then go straight to Admitad.

In general, it is advisable to consider all CPA networks, since they are conditionally divided into “spheres of influence”:

  • goods;
  • finance;
  • trips;
  • games and programs;
  • services, etc.

That is, if you want to attract people to Forex or binary options, then look for an appropriate offer - for example, Amarkets. If you want to start selling goods, choose one of the top product offers; the list is usually available on home page affiliates

Registration in each network is simple and similar: login, password, adding a site. Register in each system and determine the most optimal network for yourself.

How to choose a traffic source

There are two main ways to generate traffic: 1) free, but long; 2) fast, but not free.

In the first case you must have a site with a certain traffic (viewers, site visitors, etc.). You can write a post (or record a video) where you say: “I tried this miracle cream, it helped me, buy it!” Your subscriber will follow the link, buy it, and you will receive a percentage of sales.

But you can start from scratch and create platforms specifically for traffic arbitrage and certain offers. It’s not necessary to create thematic channels on YouTube, even with your own videos. Create websites for visitors from search engines, use various free methods of promotion on social networks, for example.

Second option, the most popular, is buying traffic and redirecting traffic to the promoted offer.

Something like this happens:

  1. The arbitrator (you) buys advertising;
  2. The advertisement writes a beautiful headline;
  3. People click on an advertisement and end up, for example, on a landing page from an offer;
  4. Make a purchase;
  5. A percentage of sales is credited to your account.

But it's not that simple. How to guess what kind of traffic is best to buy? Let's look at all the options from where we can get paid traffic.

Search traffic

This is a very complex and difficult method for arbitration. Here we will need some kind of resource that we must promote.

Let's say you have an informational website about refrigerator repairs. You often add new articles on this topic, you already have an audience, traffic from search engines - in general, the site is working.

In this case we do the following:

  1. We are writing a post about how refrigerators from company “X” last longer.
  2. We put a link to specific model(offers often offer many options).
  3. We are promoting this post through advertising on other platforms.
  4. People are moving from search network to your article.
  5. You expect a percentage of the sale.

In this case, you get pure, high-quality traffic. However, under the term " search traffic” comes another connotation associated with contextual advertising.

Here, working with traffic arbitration is greatly simplified, because:

  • We don't need an authority site;
  • We can direct traffic directly to advertising page or even to the offer’s website.
  1. The user writes a query to the search engine.
  2. The search engine gives him an advertising link on his topic.
  3. The user goes to the site and makes a purchase.

The arbitrator receives money.

What could be the problem here?

Firstly, not every offer allows this source of traffic, since many advertisers use it themselves and do not want competition out of nowhere.

Secondly When you drive traffic through contextual advertising, you can lose a lot of money. Still, such advertising is quite expensive, and the conversion rate from it is not necessarily high.

However, many affiliate marketers are creative, create good funnel sites and earn a lot of money from sales. You can’t guess here, it all depends on luck and your creativity in selling goods or services.

Targeted advertising on social networks

Or, also targeted, that is, configured to be shown only to a specific audience.

Example of a promotional post on Facebook

That is, here the social network user sees those advertising offers that are completely suitable for his location, age and interests. For example, in the first screenshot we see an advertisement for dresses. It is clear that the ad was placed based on the following parameters:

  • women's page;
  • age from 18 years;
  • subscription to thematic public pages, etc.

Plus, very often advertising coincides with search queries that the user entered not so long ago. For example, if you were looking for distance education online, then when you log into your favorite VK, you will receive a suitable ad in the block on the left.

The disadvantages are the same: high price and low conversion, so be creative in creating your ads. However, on social networks there are other tools for advertising advertising for arbitration.

Advertising in public pages on VKontakte and other social networks

If you are a fairly frequent user of social networks, you have probably seen similar posts in your feed. They are posted by public and group administrators themselves for money. What is important for affiliate marketers is that administrators give a discount for bulk purchases of posts.

What is its advantage? The fact is that here you can link an advertisement to the topic or name of the public page, which will increase conversion. In this case, the work flow looks like this:

  1. You find a thematic public (humor, fashion, cars, etc.).
  2. Agree with the owner about advertising placement.
  3. You create an advertising post yourself, based on the preferences of the public audience.
  4. You receive clicks on the link.
  5. You expect a percentage of the sale.

The problem is that beginners cannot competently create interesting advertisements. Very often we see advertising that is completely inappropriate for the topic of the public and its audience.

As a result, in a community where each post gets 3000-5000 likes, an advertisement gets only 100-150.

Teaser traffic

The pros are that this advertising is very cheap compared to previous options. Plus, she really attracts attention. The disadvantages are that people categorically do not trust such advertising: even after the visitor goes to the advertising page, he is unlikely to make a purchase there.

To get started, you can try experimenting with teaser networks: create a couple of ads and see how things go.

Teaser networks for arbitrage:

  • MarketGid.com
  • Kadam.ru
  • VisitWeb.com
  • DirectAdvert.ru
  • Oblivki.biz
  • Teasernet.com
  • Pay-click.ru
  • Ladycash.ru
  • Bodyclick.net

We can place the banner on a suitable resource. For example, agree with the owner of a sports website to place a banner advertising an online sports nutrition store.

Secondly, you can create truly high-quality promotional offer, which will be shown to the audience.

The disadvantages, as we understand it, are a continuation of the advantages. First of all, we must create a high-quality banner, and for this you need to be able to draw or you will have to hire a freelancer.

Banners are not well suited for arbitrage, because this is a tool aimed at brand recognition, and not just at attracting traffic. In addition, placing a banner on large sites is quite expensive:

The rotaban.ru exchange is presented as an example.

Advertising summary

There is no ideal advertising tool; it all depends on the arbitrator. A professional will be able to earn millions of rubles a month with the help of teaser networks, while an incompetent webmaster, even with a high-quality source, will go into the red. So you shouldn’t hope for a “miracle”. Traffic arbitrage is a complex area of money making that needs to be studied, and with experience you will definitely be able to achieve some reasonable result.

Launch and analysis of an advertising company

The launch of any company, regardless of the advertising platform, occurs according to the following algorithm:

  1. Determining the target audience. After registering in the CPA network and choosing an offer, you must clearly define the target audience that you will target when creating your advertisement.
  2. Determining the active part of the audience. For example, both adults and children play online games. Your task is to determine that part of the audio audience that will actually make purchases in this game. As you understand, adults buy virtual things more often, so we advertise for them.
  3. We create beautiful advertising text. If you have problems with this, contact a copywriting exchange or a freelance exchange. There are a lot of specialists there who will create a beautiful ad: make a bright headline, add a description, etc.
  4. We launch advertising. We take sequential steps. If you have a 50,000 ruble advertising budget, do not spend all the money on one ad. Gradually test the waters and find the most successful options.

We track advertising. To avoid wasting your entire advertising budget, you need to constantly monitor your results. Make 5-10 ads and see which ones produce the most effective results. We immediately merge ineffective options and create new ones.

  • Traffic arbitrage is not passive income, you need to constantly work with this same traffic;
  • You will not find success in the very first days of work;
  • Try to work through as many options as possible (this applies to both offer proposals and advertising tools);
  • Always create unique ads that will be different from competitors' ads;
  • Track “live” projects with a loyal audience - these are the main advertising platforms for you;
  • Choose offers that are interesting to you based on the topic (this way you will better understand what people want).

Conclusion

At first, you might think that there is nothing complicated about traffic arbitrage. However, now you understand that this is a whole universe in online earnings that requires detailed study. If you don’t want to spend all your money on empty traffic, then dive into this topic headlong. Start with small actions: place an advertising post on your VK page, make a blog on Tumblr, sell products through YouTube - all this will help you understand how best to sell through affiliate networks. And only then you will be able to reach an “industrial” volume and buy traffic for its subsequent monetization.

Last week. In it we will talk about very basic concepts: what traffic arbitrage is, what are the pros and cons of arbitration, and what is the difference between arbitrage and affiliate marketing.

Text transcript | Presentation

The next lesson will be out tomorrow. It will talk about participants in the arbitration market. The release schedule for all lessons is available on the Mobio School website. You can ask any questions about arbitration in the comments or in our VKontakte group.

Let's start with the fact that there are several ways to make money on the Internet:

  • eCommerce,
  • advertising on your own content: public pages on social networks, blogs,
  • infobusiness,
  • affiliate marketing, CPA marketing, traffic arbitrage
Despite the variety of ways to earn money, the earnings model is the same:

(Product + People who might buy it) & Tell these people about this product = $

This formula also works in traffic arbitrage. When listing ways to earn money, we highlighted the terms affiliate marketing (Affiliate Marketing) and traffic arbitrage under one paragraph, but it is important not to confuse these concepts.

Difference between affiliate marketing and traffic arbitrage

Affiliate marketing and traffic arbitrage - two different concepts. Let's look at them in more detail.

Affiliate Marketing(Affiliate Marketing) is a way to earn money through a commission from the sales of someone else's product. In this case, it is not necessary to have your own product, you need to help sell someone else’s product. As an example: any store that sells Pepsi engages in affiliate marketing.

CPA marketing- a special case of any affiliate marketing. The only difference is that in CPA marketing we receive payment for a specific action, lead or application.

Affiliate marketing requires traffic or users. At this moment, the need to attract traffic appears. Traffic arbitrage is a way to attract paid users to the application. You can attract traffic for free, for example, by launching your own video blog, collecting subscribers and then attracting them to the application.

If we look at the concept of “arbitrage” in a broader sense, in economics this term refers to a type of transaction in which we sell the same product in different markets and earn interest on the difference from the sale. Let's take currency as an example: we bought dollars yesterday in order to sell them a day later and make money on the difference.

Equivalent arbitrage is another arbitrage method in which we make money on the difference in components. Any wholesale sales are an example of equivalent arbitrage. We buy goods wholesale and sell them retail: we make money on the same product by purchasing it different combinations. As an example, we assemble a computer from its components and sell it as a whole computer.

In our case, mobile arbitration is equivalent arbitration. We buy impressions and clicks, and sell actions and installs.

Ways to sell paid advertising on the Internet

There are several models for selling paid advertising on the Internet. Let's look at what methods exist:

SRT(Cost Per Time) - we buy a fixed time of placement on the site.
CPM(Cost per mille) - we buy a thousand impressions.
CPC(Cost Per Click) - we buy clicks.
CPA(Cost per Action) CPI(Cost per Install) or CPI(Cost per lead) - we pay for actions, installations, leads.

IN mobile arbitrage We buy impressions (CPM) and clicks (CPC) from traffic sources, and then sell actions, installs or leads (CPA, CPI, CPL) to advertisers. Accordingly, we make money on the difference between buying and selling.

What is good about arbitrage?

Let’s look at how attracting traffic is useful for business, and what are the advantages of being an affiliate marketer.

For business:

  • It's easy to scale your business: if you have a product and you offer decent rewards to partners, they can easily scale sales and start selling your product in different markets.

For the affiliate:

  • There are no production or logistics costs.
  • You are responsible for only one task: attract traffic.
  • You don’t think about Customer Service: you don’t need to communicate with clients or suppliers.
  • Low entry threshold: anyone with no experience can start attracting traffic, it’s quite simple at the start.

Why is arbitration bad?

There are also negative sides in arbitration both for the business and for the arbitrator himself.

For business:

  • Partners bear less responsibility for the product.
  • It is difficult to control the methods and methods of promotion that partners use.
  • Partners can cause potential damage to their image and reputation through dishonest methods of promotion.
For the affiliate:
  • Instability of earnings, which directly depends on the market situation.
  • High dependence on changes in the rules of advertising platforms, requirements and KPIs of advertisers.
  • Constant level of stress: there is high competition in the market, working campaigns that worked and converted into a plus are constantly dying, you need to come up with new approaches.

Conclusion

So, we have examined the concepts of affiliate marketing and traffic arbitrage, formulated the pros and cons of attracting traffic both for the business as a whole and for the arbitrator himself. In the second lesson we will look at which participants are present in the traffic arbitrage market.

You can ask any questions about arbitration in the comments or in our

Hello, dear site reader! Traffic arbitrage is a complex topic, and there are a lot of technical subtleties in it. In addition, you need a starting budget, and it is possible to lose money at the beginning. You can start in arbitration with 50 – 100 dollars, but in reality it turns out differently for everyone: the amount of knowledge, diligence, and ingenuity influences. But at the end of the day, earnings from traffic arbitrage will range from 50,000 rubles to many thousands of dollars per month “net”. And this is not a scam: many people try, only a few earn decent amounts, because most beginners give up at the slightest loss. However, I will show you how and where to start so that they are minimal and ultimately bring you a profit.

Are you not afraid of these difficulties? Then for you - step-by-step instruction, which will cover all aspects of this exciting way of making money. Of course, for a deep understanding, you need to study more materials than one article can reveal. The purpose of this article is to outline the essence and show the entire skeleton of making money on traffic arbitrage.

What is traffic arbitrage

Understanding starts with the basics.

Traffic arbitrage is the extraction of interested traffic (i.e., the flow of Internet users) and its direction to target sites in order to obtain conversions (sales, registrations, subscriptions or other targeted actions).

Traffic is obtained in two ways:

  • With the help of paid advertising - teaser, contextual, banner, targeted.
  • “Gray” methods – creating and promoting doorways; spam on forums, social networks, question-answer services; mass following and mass liking and other methods.

Traffic can be directed by:

  • In affiliate programs, CPA networks, for example;
  • Directly to the Internet projects of advertisers who buy this traffic.

Methods of paying an arbitrator for work:

  • Interest on the purchase of goods/services, on making a deposit, etc.;
  • Fixed cost of a lead (i.e., targeted action) - for a loan, for registration, subscription, purchase, completed application, etc.
  • For displaying banners or clicks (rarely).

Step-by-step instructions for traffic arbitration

The general algorithm of actions is as follows:

  1. Choosing a Niche
  2. Selecting an offer and affiliate program
  3. Studying the target audience
  4. Selecting a traffic source
  5. First profit from arbitrage and results analytics
  6. Optimizing income from affiliate programs
  7. Scaling.

Where to start in traffic arbitrage

You need to start by choosing a niche.

A niche is a general direction in which different affiliate programs and offers can work (advertisers’ offers with a payment method, see above). It is also called “vertical”.

The main areas in which affiliates earn money:

  1. Tovarka (sale of goods), for example, a purely commodity network (see my review at the link);
  2. Online games (pay for registration, active player, deposits of money into the game or other actions);
  3. Finance (credits, loans, investments);
  4. Information business (selling online courses, trainings, recruiting subscribers for e-mail newsletters);
  5. Gambling – casino, poker, sports betting;
  6. Education (they are also called essays, edu-partners) - academic papers like coursework and dissertations to order.
  7. Dating – dating sites, including for intimate purposes.
  8. Pharmaceuticals, care products - medicines, dietary supplements, products for weight loss, muscle gain, hair growth, increasing male and female sexual characteristics, health and beauty products, and so on.
  9. SMS subscriptions and Wapclick. Connected to mobile internet.

How to make the right choice for a beginner? Firstalways focus on what is closest to you. If you don’t understand the financial topic, it’s better not to get involved right away. Ideally, you have in-depth knowledge of the niche. If you love online games, you can easily advertise them because you belong to the target audience of players and understand their needs. For example, I can’t tell the difference at all good game from poor quality.

Second- This relevance of the niche and its scale. The wider the target audience you can reach, the better. For example, everyone needs clothes. A huge number of people want to lose weight quickly and easily. Mostly women different ages, but sometimes men really need to get in shape. Do you want to correct your figure? Then you know how painful this problem is for your target audience, and you understand how you can hook them.

Have you decided on a niche for traffic arbitrage? Let's move on to choosing an offer and PP.

How to choose an offer and affiliate program

An affiliate program can contain only 1 offer or be a CPA network that contains many offers from different advertisers. You can read the link, and we move on.

Cpad.pro– a free and very valuable service for selecting offers. Let's go to offers - categories and select in the column on the left the category that we decided on when searching for a niche for making money on arbitrage.

The table indicates the number of goals that need to be achieved to earn money, the number of CPA networks that advertise the offer and the date the information was updated. If an offer is presented in many affiliate programs, then it has high competition. The ideal case is when the offer is exclusive, that is, presented in one CPA network.

Let's click on one of them. A page will open with a description of the offer, a preview of the landing pages to which we will send traffic, and goals.

So, according to the table, the PP accepts only Ukrainian traffic. There are two payment schemes here – CPS (cost-per-sale, or cost per sale as a percentage of the price for the product) and CPL (payment per lead). To get to know the offer better, in the “PP” column, click on the name of the affiliate program. A more detailed description of it and a “Register” button will open, leading to the website of the CPA network or affiliate program. Study it, look at the functionality that the PP offers for payments, etc.

What to look for when selecting an offer for arbitrage?

Seasonality. Is there a decline in interest in the product throughout the year? For example, affiliate programs for writing student papers earn good money only in the fall or spring, and the rest of the time there is a decline in interest among the target audience. Women lose weight more actively in the spring towards summer, so it is most profitable to advertise products at this time of year, although there is always demand.

If you start draining traffic during the off-season, you may not achieve the desired profit or even lose your investment in advertising. You can analyze seasonal fluctuations in interest using the Yandex tool Wordstat– “Query history” in the search engine. Just enter the query that your target audience asks most often when searching for a product, and be sure to specify the region. For example, upon request “Buy a swimsuit” we will see the following picture:

Demand. There is such a thing as a squeezed offer. This is the offer that was very popular and profitable, all the affiliates poured into it. As a result, all traffic was squeezed out, people's interest fell, and the offer became unprofitable. This is what happened with the annoying talking hamster.

Another example: tights that tear. The screenshot below shows that in the fall of 2016 there was a sharp jump in demand for them, and by the end of the year a decline began. Those affiliates who caught the trend at the stage of growth and peak of popularity earned more than others. If there is a downward trend in the number of requests, you should think about choosing another offer.

Exclusivity. We talked about this a little higher. Let’s repeat for reinforcement: the fewer CPA networks advertise an offer, the lower the competition for it. It’s good if it is represented only in one network or in several. It's bad when there are a dozen or more of them. Exclusivity is not the most important indicator. Don't discount seasonality and demand.

Indicators, offer rating. Many CPA networks indicate the conversion from site visits to leads, the percentage of application confirmations, hold and other information. Hold is the time during which you will not be able to receive the money you earned. The larger it is, the worse it is for a beginner. For example, if the hold is for a whole month, then you will have to wait this period until you are paid. If your budget is limited and you urgently need to reinvest your profits, long-term holding is not suitable for you. Here is an example of a description of programs in the very popular CPA network Admitad:

Pay attention to the cookie lifetime. The bigger it is, the better. and I have already talked about its special importance.

How to choose an affiliate program or CPA network for traffic arbitrage?

Look carefully:

  1. Reviews on the Internet. If there are serious complaints about technical support, payments, fraud, think 100 times before working with this company. The most informative and truthful reviews are supported by screenshots of income statistics. Although even here Photoshop can play a cruel joke. Reviews cannot be trusted 100%, but if they are left on forums by their avid participants with a long lifespan, then it is highly likely to be true (although it also happens that the reviews are paid for by the owners of the software).

  2. How long has a CPA network or affiliate program been on the market?. Beginners should not be trusted, especially at first. Look towards old and “bearded” affiliates. They are worried about their reputation and will not allow themselves to be deceived by their partners. Veterans that all arbitrageurs know about: Admitad, M1-Shop, Ad1, Actionpay, KMA.
  3. Tools. Affiliate tools are designed to track traffic flows. The more detailed analytics in personal account partner, the more effectively you can improve your advertising campaign to increase profits. So, a good affiliate program has a section with statistics of conversions/orders. In addition, the affiliate program should have the ability to create a SubID - this is a parameter that is added to your affiliate links. With its help, you can, for example, track which banner or ad generated conversions and leads, and which did not generate any income at all. Unprofitable advertising campaigns and promotional materials need to be removed so that they do not eat up your budget. Other important tools for analytics in traffic arbitrage: postback URL, traffic back.
  4. Minimum withdrawal amount. Compare it with your budget. For example, if you are ready to invest $100, and the minimum withdrawal requirement is $150, then you can spend all the advertising money without reaching the minimum income for withdrawing money from the affiliate program. Let’s say if you break even, then for $100 spent you will have $100 in income. You may not be paid this money. In general, it’s better to expect that if you fail, you can lose 50% of the invested budget or even more. Always take into account the minimum withdrawal requirement.
  5. Payment terms. See which payment systems and cards you can withdraw money to, and how often payments occur.
  6. Traffic Types. So, you have chosen an offer and an affiliate program in which you plan to earn money through arbitrage. But there is another nuance: it may have prohibited traffic sources. For example, some prohibit contextual advertising on a brand, motivated traffic, e-mail newsletters, etc. Some people don’t like their product being advertised on social networks. If, contrary to the prohibitions, you start merging traffic from prohibited sources, you will not be paid and your account may be banned forever.

Selecting traffic sources for arbitrage

Before choosing, pay attention to:

  1. Offer. Thus, serious financial offers should not be advertised in teaser networks: there will be a lot of useless traffic and very few leads. Products that have just entered the market and are not yet familiar to the consumer will not appear in contextual advertising in search results (because they are simply not requested in search yet).
  2. Source complexity. You will study Yandex.Direct for a month or even more before you start. It's better to choose simple methods traffic extraction, and from them move on to more complex ones. Ideally, those that can be learned in a day or two.

Types of traffic sources:

  • Advertising in groups, social network communities, on YouTube channels;
  • Teaser networks;
  • Banner networks;
  • Targeted advertising;
  • Contextual;
  • Advertising in mailing lists;
  • Doorway traffic;
  • Spam by e-mail, on forums, social networks, etc.;
  • Incentivized traffic;

Traffic arbitrage through social networks and YouTube channels

Perhaps the easiest way for beginners to get started is to buy space for advertising posts from the admins of pages with a small number of subscribers. For one publication on VKontakte, for example, it will cost 50-200 rubles. There is no need to buy more expensive pages first. Practice on small ones until you get the hang of it. Take offers with a low cost per lead and the product itself.

So, you shouldn’t immediately sell iPhones with a small budget: you will lose it without even collecting enough statistics for analysis. Try to start with simple offers where you pay for registration, subscription to the newsletter, filling out a questionnaire, etc. Games, dating sites, information business with payment for subscribers, etc. are suitable. The budget for starting is preferably from 5,000 rubles.

There are a lot of nuances in making money on arbitrage using posts, but the general algorithm of actions is as follows:

Teaser networks

A huge number of sites are collected in teaser networks. They contain blocks with teasers - advertisements consisting of small pictures and short text.

Examples of teasers, and how to make them yourself.

Scheme of your actions for arbitration:

  1. Select a teaser network and register.
  2. Create teasers, add them to the network, add to them affiliate links. At the same time, pre-landing pages (or more simply, padding sites) are often used to whet the desire of visitors to buy a product before they go to the product’s website. Blogs with fake (unreal) reviews are often used as pre-landers.
  3. Set up advertising display.
  4. Launch advertising and monitor its promotion, statistics in the affiliate program and in analytics systems such as Yandex.Metrics and Google Analytics.
  5. As you work, remove ineffective sites that do not generate profit.

The advantage of teasers is the low cost per click, which starts from 10 kopecks. However, the quality of traffic suffers: bots will steal your budget, so you need to delete sites if you notice empty clicks and zero conversions.

Examples of teaser networks:

  • Oblivochki.biz– a teaser with a lot of positive feedback from affiliate marketers and tools for more or less accurate targeting. Click from 70 kopecks.
  • Teasernet– geotargeting, wide choose topics, clicks from 10 kopecks. Very large and old network.
  • BodyClick– there are sites of any topic, and in addition to teasers, you can advertise here with banners, contextual ads, and clickers.

Banner networks

With their help, you can place banners on websites of various topics. Banners differ from teasers in a wider variety of sizes and formats, and the absence of text. That is, it's just a picture or animation. You can buy ready-made banners from affiliate programs or make them yourself and then place them in banner networks. Most bright representative of them - Rotaban.

Targeted advertising

Targeted advertising helps to most accurately target advertising to the consumer. Not only gender/age/geography is taken into account, but also Family status, interests, education, life position, having children and so on. What you include in your social media profile is used by advertisers to show you relevant advertisements. The information that users provide about themselves can be used to accurately hit the target (“target” from English - “goal”).

Target VK. It is possible to show teaser blocks with a small picture on the left to users on Vk.com or promote full-fledged posts in their news feeds. You can create a button with a call to action “Buy”, “Go”, “Join” and so on. There is a “Carousel” format, where in one ad in the news feed you can create several cards that consist of a photo, a link to the site and a “Buy” button (or with other text). Retargeting tool available.

Mytarget. Using the service, you can arbitrate on Vkontakte, Mail.ru, and Odnoklassniki. Target mobile or desktop users, advertise mobile applications, games. In Maiterget there are more than 15 types of targeting, including by income level. There is retargeting. It is distinguished by strict moderation of advertising, so not all offers are accepted, especially “gray” ones, like weight loss programs and other things. You can read more here.

Facebook. Perhaps this is the coolest targeted advertising tool. With it you can enter not only the CIS market, but also the bourgeoisie – use it for affiliate programs around the world and receive income in dollars. True, advertising costs are higher here. You shouldn’t try to push a “gray” offer onto Facebook: moderation won’t let it through. Although some cunning arbitrageurs manage to do it.

The advantage of Facebook is that it has a huge number of tools for retargeting, tracking and optimizing traffic, there are split tests, as well as the most detailed targeting (it seems that Facebook monitors its users at every step).

For a beginner, it’s better to start getting acquainted with targeted advertising on VKontakte: it has the simplest and most intuitive interface. Facebook has just crazy functionality, so we’ll leave it for a snack.

contextual advertising

Context leaders – Yandex.Direct and Google Adwords. Advertising blocks can be seen both when searching in Yandex and Google, and when visiting websites.

A way to find the target audience. So, in the search target, we set the characteristics of people who, in our opinion, may be interested in our offer.

In context, it’s the other way around: we only need to indicate what search queries people can use to search for our offer. Of course, here you can also determine the geography of impressions, but it is not necessary to indicate interests, age, marital status, etc. We find out exactly what a person wants from his search query.

To make money from contextual advertising in traffic arbitrage, you need deep knowledge, otherwise you will drive yourself into the red and be disappointed. Ideally, take a couple of courses from configuration experts. But even if you don’t become an affiliate marketer, contextual advertising specialists are a highly paid position, so don’t skimp on spending money on education.

Advertising in e-mail newsletters in arbitration

The scheme is simple:

  • you need to look for authors of newsletters on topics that are interesting to your target audience.
  • Then buy from them to send an advertising letter with a link to subscribers;
  • Analyze the results, select the best email campaigns based on the envelope, and deliver similar advertisements again.

Doorway traffic

A doorway is a website that is automatically created using programs for promoting low-frequency queries. As a rule, such sites do not provide value either to the user or to the search engine. However, they bring traffic to the owner, which is then converted into income from affiliate programs. The costs of doorways are limited to a one-time purchase of software for their generation, as well as payment for hosting and domain. Sometimes they also purchase links to speed up promotion.

Doorways often “die”: they are banned by search engines, so you need Full time job to create new packs. Unlike sites for people (SDL), which live for years, doorways may not last even a few months.

In the bourgeoisie, with the help of doorways, it is popular to drain traffic to pharmaceutical affiliates, essay affiliates, casinos, poker, and sports betting. The exhaust costs hundreds and thousands of dollars.

You can read more about traffic arbitrage using doorways on Wikipedia. And we move on.

Spam methods in traffic arbitrage

These include:

  • Email spam;
  • Spam on forums;
  • Question-answer services;
  • On social networks: mass following, mass liking, sending personal messages, spam in public pages, etc.

Not all affiliate programs accept spam traffic, and you can even get banned for it and lose your earned money. Before you start making money on spam, ask the technical support of the affiliate program if you can use these methods of attracting traffic.

The advantage is that you can do spam manually and not pay for traffic at all, i.e. Another option is to buy a program that will spam you automatically and much faster. The cost pays off quite quickly when the right approach. The main thing is to know the technology of traffic extraction.

Incentivized traffic

Incentivized traffic is traffic that you receive by agreement with people.

  1. For example, you need a person to register in the game, and you will receive 50 rubles for registering in an affiliate program.
  2. Go to special services (boxes), where you get 10 rubles the person will pass register using your link or perform other required action.
  3. You have a profit of 40 rubles.

Simply, to the point of disgrace. But the catch is that affiliate programs in most cases do not recognize motivated traffic and harshly ban dishonest affiliates. Although there are options where it is allowed. Check cpad.pro for current offers.

SEO and traffic arbitrage

SEO is a softer way to get traffic with almost no investment. To create a website, you only need to pay for hosting and a domain. By the way, you can get free hosting for 3 months with a 2nd level domain for 1 year. Moreover, this hosting is of high quality, because I have been using it myself for many years. This blog is on it. If you want to start without any investment at all for 3 months, I tell you in this post how you can get this privilege for free and without a catch;).

General algorithm of actions:

  • Register a domain and buy hosting;
  • We select the engine on which the site will function (Wordpress, for example);
  • Install the template;
  • We fill it with articles optimized for these keys (unique ones - you can write/rewrite them yourself or hire specialists);
  • We promote;
  • After some time, traffic begins to flow, which you will monetize with banners, links and other promotional materials from affiliate programs.

The main thing is to immediately choose a niche and see if there are affiliate programs for it. The income will come in six months to a year, when enough traffic from search engines begins to arrive.

Setting up statistics and optimizing conversions

At this step, many merge and go back to work for hire with the rest of their advertising budget. That is, they choose an offer, an affiliate program, start pouring in traffic, go into the red and that’s it! Then they shout that arbitration is a scam and there is no money here. Although we were one step away from success.
